This outlet of Gupta Brothers is located just opposite to Balwant Singh Eating House,5minutes walking distance to both Elgin and Rabindra Sadan. I have a severe love for veg food specially when it is non-bengali veg food. So I tried this place alongwith my friends and their famous sweets are another reason for the visit. Service was good, the place was spacious and well maintained. I had tried- Milkshake: Kesariya Badam Milkshake - Rs 60 Sitafal Milkshake - Rs 70 Strawberry Lassi - Rs 50 Starters: Momo Tikka - Rs 140 Crispy Chili Babycorn - Rs 140 Main Course: Rice Combo - Rs 120 Chinese Combo - Rs 120 Cheese Paratha Combo - Rs 140 Kulfi: Dab Kulfi - Rs 40 Kesar Pista Kulfi - Rs 40 Mango Kulfi - Rs 50 Sweets: Abarkhabo - Rs 20 per piece Baked Rasgulla - Rs 30 per piece Baked Sandesh - Rs 25 per piece. Starting with the sweets. They were mesmerizing, specially the Abarkhabo was so beautiful and rose petal on it was love. Baked rasagulla and baked sandesh were too soft and fresh. Lassi or milkshakes were refreshing and soothing. There was a thick upper layer on each of the lassi. Kulfi specially the Daab kulfi flavour was awesome. Now the starters, crispy chilli babycorn was totally tempting and not too spicy. Momo tikka was kind of a new item to me,stuffing of it was good and coating was soft. Chaat masala on it and chutney were absolutely complementing the tikkas. Chinese combo was veg chow and veg manchurian. Chow was not too oily and as usual tasted good. Rice combo was rice and mushroom side dish. The gravy of mushroom was different from other regular mushroom curry. Cheese paratha combo comes with two veggies and cheese stuffed parathas and panner dish. And this was my favourite from the Gupta Brothers.

    - Good variety of sweets and cuisines - You will only get vegetarian food here - most of the food is pre cooked - taste of North India food (like chole bhature) is also sweet - Service is little slow for a few dishes - overall a nice place for vegetarians

Food is good, except the colourful sweets. Those are not even worth a single penny to waste. Atmosphere is friendly, but have no seats. You have to stand and eat there if you don't wanna parcel.

One of the famous sweets and snacks shop of Kolkata offering very rich and delicious sweets. Tried their masala dosa, mango lassi, badam milk and black forest pastry. I would definitely recommend badam milk which is full of almonds and pistachios and it tastes amazing. You should definitely visit here sometime.

I do not like vegetarian. But once in a while, you do come across places which actually serve good veg preparations and makes you love the food too. This is one of those places. The sweets they serve are my favourite, besides their Indian thali which I definitely recommend. They also serve a pretty good masala dosa and a mixed chaat which is also fantastic. Prices are moderate and staff behaviour is acceptable. Parking, however, is an issue in the busy hours.

An amazing sweet shop bang in the heart of city. You can have sumptuous breakfast, lunch or evening snacks. Variety of sweets and savouries is mind boggling. It has Bengali, North Indian and South Indian items. Beside it offers paw bhaji from the Western India. Tables are thoughtfully provided. Very clean and great atmosphere.

Only Vegetarian food available here its a bit over priced 😏 considering the same kind of food available outside, they have a huge variety of sweets and only readymade veg food available like kachori, chow mein, stuffed paratha khasta kachori. Had Dhokla 1 plate which consists of 4 pieces of Dhokla priced at ₹60 ( very pricy ) Taste is good. The place is neat and clean 👌

This Snacks and Sweet shop is one of the best I have seen so far! It is located in Rabindra Sadan area. It has one tea stall and Pav Bhaji stall of their own outside the shop. Inside, they have a variety of dry fruits, snacks items, and a wholesome variety of sweets among which many are unique. They also make Chaas, Sweet Lassi, Mango Lassi inside. They have a service counter inside serving Chole Bhature, Kebabs, and other items. I tried the Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji and Baked Mihidana. Here, the *Baked Mihidana* is the must try I should say!😍

Great place for vegetarians. But no seating arrangements. Have to stand and eat. Air-conditioned. Clean and hygenic. Very well lighted and ventilated. Excellent varieties of vegetarian snacks available. Radha Vallabhi sabji had high amount of chilli. Paneer Tikka is 150/- for 4 small pieces. Chocolate pastries were fabulous. Don't miss. For 40/- only. No eggs. Bike parking available right outside without any fees. My picture food order cost Rs.480/- exact. Khandwi and Vada were both good. Enjoy....Bon Appetite!

Excellent choice of snacks and light dishes, perfect for a foreigner like me to explore various tastes, both savoury and sweet, for a very reasonable price. The establishment is kept very clean and the staff are helpful in navigating the options on offer with friendly service towards tourists. Ideal for a breakfast snack like idly or to grab a picnic for the park.

It is very close to Rabindra Sadan metro station. Only Vegetarian food available here is a bit over priced. They have a huge variety of sweets and only readymade veg food available like kachori, chow mein, stuffed paratha khasta kachori. Namkeen food items are also tasty. Service is not so good.

Seating arrangements were awfully bad as none can comfortably enjoy their foods. Previous arrangements like real Restaurants were 100 % better. Now it has become a simply sweetmeat shop. Horrible...! Don’t call it a Restaurant please. It's a sweet shop and that's all.

Yesterday I visited this shop for the first time with my college friends. It is located at Harish Mukherjee Road, Near Balwant Singh eating House. Its a nice little place serving mainly South Indian cuisine along with fruit juices and breakfast items. They also serve pure veg dishes on request. We had - Rose Milk - 60 Badam Milk -60 Sitafal Milk - 70 Mango Milk - 60 Kulcha Combo - 120 Lachha Combo - 120 Butter Naan Combo - 120 Cheese Paratha Combo - 120 Makke Di Roti & Sarsoon Saag - 140 Papdi Chaat - 70 Raj Kachori Chaat - 70 Chola Tikia Chaat - 70 Chola Chaat - 70 Nolen Gur Abarkhabo - 20 Nolen Gur Sandesh - 25 So, every item was good. Must Recommendation - Makke di Roti & Sarsoon Saag - it was really good taste. Papdi Chaat - I am a Papdi Chaat lover. But here they served it with spicy sauces. Nolen Gur Sandesh - it was awesome by its taste. Staff behavior was courteous and gentle natured. Overall a good place to quench your spike hunger when you are done whirl-winding. A nice place to hangout when you are near Sharma Tea Stall or Balwant Singh Eating House. -----------------THANK_YOU---------------🙏🏻🙏🏻

I had brought gujiya (Sweet) during Holi I was amazing and top notch quality. Items are very fresh and best is quality Always recommended👍👍 They have wide variety of sweets and confectionery items available at their store.

The guy sitting at the counter will even charge you for tasting. Very unprofessional and non consumer-friendly behaviour. In any public dealing, the tone of your engagement with the public matters and he needs to learn that. He is not friendly at all and the food isn’t cheap per se. Quality of food is alright. He didn’t even give me a proper bill or took me through all the items properly before adding everything to the bill. If I am paying him 2000 rupees for sweets, I have to right to ensure that the items have been correctly added to the bill.

Just a few minutes walk from SSKM this eatery can be visible from the road itself. Like every other Gupta Brothers, this one too serves some of the delicious veg foods. From different kind of nuts and chocolates to Laccha parathas, everything can be found here. We had: ▶️ Flavoured Milk — Rose Milk - 60 Badam Milk -60 Sitafal Milk - 70 Mango Milk - 60 These are delicious and very true to the flavour they say. The Sitafal and the Badam was my personal favourite ❤️ ▶️ Veg Combos — Kulcha Combo - 120 Lachha Combo - 120 Butter Naan Combo - 120 Cheese Paratha Combo - 120 Makke Di Roti & Sarsoon Saag - 140 If you never had the iconic combo Makke di roti and Sarsoon saag, then do come and try here, believe me you would love it a lot. Every item here was so scrumptious. ❤️ ⏺Snacks — Papdi Chaat - 70 Raj Kachori Chaat - 70 Chola Tikia Chaat - 70 Chola Chaat - 70 These small bites were the real delish, a must try would be the Raj kachiri ❤️ ⏺Dessserts — Nolen Gur Abarkhabo - 20 Nolen Gur Sandesh - 25 Winter and Nolen gur is bengalis favourites always, so no match with the sweets❤️

In winters they make its nolen gur's version which is also equally very good.. They also serve winter specialities like makke di roti & sarson da saag.. They also have sweets in nolen gur's version.. Do try this place, you won't be disappointed for sure..

👍👍 Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! 😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee.
