This is quite a decent restaurant, serving a wide variety of foods, ranging from Chinese to Mughlai to South Indians dishes. This restaurant becomes immensely crowded during the lunch and dinner hours. It is strategically located within the most congested corporate hub of Kolkata, i.e, Salt Lake, Sector 5. This restaurant is totally air-conditioned and has ample sitting capacity for a large group of people. The service is very fast and the prices are moderate. Must try their Biryani, it tastes heavenly. 👍

Worst restaurant i have ever experienced. Very bad quality of fish and dal. Fish was somehow rotten. Though price is on higher side! Very poor quality and quantity as well. Please don't try this restaurant. I am planning to lodge complaints to food and safety department, west bengal.

Today 16th october 2021 i visited at this restaurant.The order taking guy is very bad mannered..I repeatedly requested him to take my order but he was ignoring me as if i was there to eat food at free of cost.Even in front of me he was taking other customer's order who had come lately than me..I was shocked and protested then he came to my table and said i would not take your order as i already had too many orders to serve. But he accepted other people's orders. So i realised there is some issues with me particularly and left the restaurant eventually..I was shocked to get this type of behaviour also i was very hungry as i came out of tcs gitobotan after taking my exam..Worst experience....i will never visit this restaurant again

I have wonderful experience of having food from Urmila. I often get parcels or come and eat here. They have nice spread of menu items for Lunch/Dinner and snacks. This is a quality restaurant located conveniently. Eat here or get a takeaway, the experience is always amazing. Great work

The food is good and hygienic. But one thing to keep in mind if you are going during office hours the service takes a lot of time to service food! So make sure you have enough time in hand. Went there multiple times had same experience food is good service is slow.

Worst Chicken Biriyani ever. Alu was hard, not properly boiled, a very bad smell from chicken and rice is very very disappointing but price 170Rs. Worst restaurant.... Worst

Me and my colleagues went here for lunch on 3rd July. They serve a variety of food. I ordered Veg fried rice, mutton kasha, butter naan, chicken do pyaza and green salad. Waiting time was a little longer. But when food was served we were very happy. Food quality and quantity both were good. Taste of all items was awesome. And the best part is price of all items is very pocket friendly. Atmosphere is homely, nothing too decorated or with theme, but yes its good to go in times of hurry and when searching for pocket friendly great lunch or meals. Overall I would rate it as 4/5. 👏 N.B: We were so hungry, i forgot to take pictures of our food.😀

First of all, we ordered 4 butter nun and 1 paneer item and that took almost 50mins to come. Food quality is average. The price is too high according to its quantity. Service is worst. We have to pitch them 3times for food to come on table. Totally not recommended.👎👎👎👎👎👎

Worst experience... We ordered chicken biryani for two people, they serve stale chicken biryani... It's smells and when we report it to manager he said it's fresh and there is no chance of stale food... We told them to smells once but he won't listen... I have ordered there 2 chicken biriyani first they told me that they will check and let me know if biriyani is available or not after that they came and say yes biriyani is available. After so long they bring the food, while eating I feel its smelly but I thought because of hot food its smelling but after tasting chicken I confirmed its not only smelly but its a leftover food. After saying about this to them as usual they are denying. So if you wanted to had food from Urmila beware of it that they provide you leftover smelly food.

Ordered Shahi Paneer since I am familiar with the dish from many other places and always loved it. The one they served is an astonishingly little quantity of uncooked bowl of paneer in some unprocessed gravy - not really edible. Highly disappointed!!!!!

It is so difficult to find thali in today's time which is elaborate enough and cooked in low oil ANDDD that tastes good. I always order the chicken thali. There is daal, aloo bhaja, two sabzis, chicken (two pieces), raita, warm gulab jamun. All for 250 rupees. Excellent cooking. The staff could be a little more polite but i guess it's okay. It is the perfect meal to have when you have had to spend a longgggg day at the hospital having no time to spare to go have lunch.

Simple restaurant with good food and polite staff. The food quality is good and is great for your pocket too. We ordered fried rice and chilli garlic chowmein. The chowmein was very oily and tasted so so. Fried rice was good with lots of veggies to go along with. To drain all the stuff we had jaljeera, which was a thirst quencher in the end. The restaurant is neat and clean and feels like home. The lighting inside the restaurant is inadequate though.

Ashesh Dada,who seats in counter,is very humble.I ordered a lassi only without sugar.Though they don't sell it,he didn't deny me and arranged for same requesting some time will take.Miran served it very much on time and with humbleness.Their homely atmosphere will make you happy.

Scam fraud.....In menu written 4pc chicken was given 2 and the chicken was not salted and it was burnt too. Low quality chicken and food was not edible. Lower quality than 50 rs chilo chicken. Save your money and don't go to the save your mone don't go this restaurant.
