I won't say that this is the place to go for the best food experience, but the quality was good and not the quantity. The prices are too high. I tried Indian dishes. You can also check out their Italian cuisine as well I heard it's good. The location was easy to find. They do have washroom facilities for men and women and it was clean. The are maintaining the covid protocols as well. The customer service was good. They should pay more attention to the food quantity they are serving in compared to the price they charge.

So I recently visited this very popular heritage restaurant in Park street and was really disappointed. I had a lot of expectations keeping in mind the hype it has got. So based on general reviews and their recommendation we first ordered the spicy version of the deviled crab. There was no crab flavour in it and very little crab meat. The whole filling consists of mainly white sauce, mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Then we ordered the fish wellington which had pretty much the same problem. There was not even a hefty fillet of fish. There were just a few little chunks of fish, the dish mostly just basically white sauce. All of the dishes are very overpriced in my opinion and the place is overrated in general. I wouldn't recommend visiting.

I am going for my birthday dinner today. I love their decoration in the restaurant. Service is also very good. We ordered some fish items in white sauce and chicken steak with garlic sauce. I love the food very much. They served the food very well. Their continental menu is very good.

Chicken a la kiev is a must try. Rest all foods taste good but quantity is very less. Compared to the price we paid, both food quality and quantity could had been better. Service can be improved.

If you want a taste of vintage Calcutta food joints this is the place for you. From the beautiful ambience to the lovely layout of the restaurant, this is a good place for fancy dining. The food were great. Especially the devilled crab is exceptional. Even the prawn starters was great. The sizzler is okay and the main course was good. Never forget to have the Baked Alaska, it is worth visiting the restaurant alone!

Continental at its best. The quality of the food is too good. If you are visiting on weekends make sure you keep some buffer time with you. It's generally crowded. They do not pre-book. It's first come first serve. The famous chicken Ala kiev is good in taste but I would people who love it more spicy may not like it. We went with 4 year old children, he also enjoyed a lot as none of the dishes were spicy. One of the old and best restaurants in park Street. Also a prawn cocktail is a must try.

One of the oldest and iconic restaurants of Kolkata didn't disappoint us today. The ambience was classic and staff behavior was cordial. We tried quite a few of their heritage continental dishes which is well known and they all tasted amazing. A bit pricey it may seem it's justified being a heritage restro. This popular eatery doesn't need any recommendations really, but do pay visit if you haven't already.

It’s a good restaurant and it’s crowded every time I visit it. However this time, we were able to get a table the moment we arrived. The outlook of the restaurant is heritage feels with low-hanging lights providing a perfect opportunity for food photography. Coming to the food, it’s good but not exceptional. We ordered the famous Crab, it was good but way more cheesy than required. However, I loved the pork cutlets with a layering of cheese in the center. I feel almost every food served is cheesy over here 😅. However, loved the dessert “Baked Alaska”. It's an amalgamation of flavors, fruits, cake, and ice cream with cream set on fire. Loved the unique take on it. Overall a good place to try out western flavours.

The place was beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The service was prompt and courteous, and the menu had a good variety of dishes. The food was overall good, but I wasn't a fan of the soup and dessert. The only downside was the price, which was quite high .While the food was good, I felt that it didn't justify the cost. Overall, I had a decent experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was lovely, and the food was good, albeit with a few exceptions.

Authentic and original continental food serving since 1956. The place looks little old, in terms of facilities and serving, however the foods were absolutely delicious. We ordered prawn cocktail, chicken a la mocambo, chicken chipolata, chicken a la kiev, chicken steak, crab claws and prawn starter. Every item was lip smacking. A bit pricey I must add, but definitely a must try.

Food was great, good ambience. Place is nice though prices are quite high as per the quantity but tastes real good. Would recommend but not budget friendly as such price point view. Can be visited in special occasion. I went for 31st December dinner date with my husband so was good for the quality of food and ambience.

This place is very nice with perfect ambiance for family and kid. The price is reasonable for both drinks and food. The quality and quantity is really amazing. For a couple a single dish of most of the items will suffice. It becomes full pretty fast so please care about booking. If you go by 7 pm it's still available. The place provides quite ambiance where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and food with some descent gossips with your loved ones. PS: do not order virgin merry in mocktail section. You will regret.

I have ordered chicken and beef steak sizzler which was well cooked and seasoned to perfection with the mashed potatoes and veggies..... The meat was tender and juicy..... The stuffs were attentive and friendly.... Moreover the dim lights and artifacts adds cozy and aesthetic ambience to the restaurant..... Overall I had a great experience as the food was great and ambience was aesthetic and cozy....... I would highly recommend if you are looking for best steak and cozy ambience in Park Street, Kolkata.....

Est in the year 1956, this place serves you best foods. The taste of each dishes were delicious. The location is prime, in park street area. Full marks for the service. The staffs were very polite. We didn’t have to wait for long for our food. It has huge sitting arrangements. Price wise also reasonable. Overall nice experience. Will definitely recommend this place . A good spot for food lovers.

The ambience and staff behaviour is great. We ordered the prawn cocktail, chicken drum fry, chicken a la kiev and mutton cutlet. Personally felt like the main course needed more veggies to balance the richness of the dishes. Also, potatoes were fried, not mashed. But these things aside, the food tasted really good. Overall happy with the experience.

this place is an iconic place, well suited for folks looking for a break from bong food. but since i was visiting kolkata after a long time, it wasn’t the ideal place for me. we ordered a couple of starters and one of the recommended mains. food is generally okay, but super creamy and cheesy. portions are generally big, so take note while ordering. devil crab was pretty good, i can see the craze about it, but not spectacular as im probably not the target audience. it was super busy even at 4 pm, so there is definitely a lot of demand for this kind of food.

The overall experience was amazing, right from the starting the way they greet you at the entrance till the end they serve you. The entire experience was crazy, the way they are cautious about social distancing and always there for customer service is something we don’t find in most of the restaurants nowadays. My personal favourite were grilled mushroom with prawns and chicken steak sizzler do give it a try guys.. will recommend both for friends and family dine in.

Eversince globalization hit the mankind & broke down the narrow doors, the world became one. And an evening snack recipe started it's journey to travel the world. This mouth-watering, heavenly delicious recipe known as Devilled crab, was popularized in 19th century in Ybor city of Tampa among the spanish/ Cuban) Italian immigrants. This is actually a result of a violent strike that took place in Tampa long time back. The cigar factories started to bloom, and the newly arrived immigrants were delivering new recipes in the bay area. With time many recipes washed away, whereas, Devilled crab endured time and became a token of significance for Tampa espeicially during the strike that lasted for 10 long months. The uneasy truce between the tabaqueros & the factory owners devastated the economic conditions. The tabaqueros started making croquetts with crab to feed their family. And gradually the part-time snack recipe reached it's stardom, crossed the oceans and made it's royal entry in every restaurant's menu card. My friend told me once that every disaster comes with an oppuntunity. Yes, it is true. That's how we got Devilled crab. If you are a food lover and live in kolkata, then do try this out in Mocambo.

We decided to visit Mocambo yesterday, which was a Saturday. Keep in mind, try to come before 7 or else getting a seat at this establishment will be nearly impossible. You will not be asked to vacant as long as there is food on your table. Contrary to popular believe, we liked the service and the servers were quite friendly with us. They even suggested the best dish we had there. Coming to the dishes: Mutton Sheekh Kebab: It was okay. The kebab was flavourful but dry. It was served with salad only and no chutney. Can be avoided. Devilled Crab: One of the most celebrated dish in Mocambo. It was truly amazing. The crab meat was mixed with some ingredients to make it creamy and then stuffed in crab shells. Then topped with cheese and baked. Must try! Tandoori Prawn: We wanted another starter dish with prawn and our server suggested this. It has now become one of our favourites. The prawn was cooked to perfection. Another must try Chicken Ala Kiev: Another one of the celebrated dish here. It was served with sauted carrots, peas, and potatoes and a small serving of tomato pasta. The amount of butter that is stuffed in the chicken is mind blowing. When you cut it expect an explosion. The dish was huge, I couldn't finish my share! We ordered bread rolls to wipe up the butter and this is a must with this dish. If you don't like butter stay away from this dish or else please order it!! Loved my experience here. I will definitely go back to try more dishes.

The food we ordered was explicit. You need to try the Fish steak (Bhetki) topped with mushroom sauce, if you are a bong and love fish, you will not regret it. Priced: 405 INR. I tried the baked cheese Devil crab and ohh! The taste was beyond expectations, perfectly baked. Priced: 465 INR. Lastly, I tried the ham steak wrapped in creamy mushroom sauce, it has hits of tangy taste in the sauce but perfectly cooked. Priced: 445 INR. Loved the food. Drinks could be better, I mean the Virgin Mohito(185) and strawberry blossom (175) was adequate. Do let me know if you tried anything from the above suggestions.

The place is elegant without a shadow of a doubt. The servers are professional and they make you feel comfortable and at ease. The menu is elaborate and really well thought out. If you’re a continental lover, you’d surely love the place. Apart from that try out their Ala Kiev, Tetrazini and their house specials. The quality of food is amazing and the ambience makes a grand and aesthetic fine dining experience.

Had a lovely evening with my family here. Yes, the main course took time to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait. The fish risotto was great, full of subtle mild flavours, their signature classic chicken garlic steak was no doubt delicious, so was the Angels on Horseback. Nice name for a naaaice dish. The staff were very polite and attentive. Good experience overall.

Crowd waiting outside at 9.00 pm itself shows the popularity of the place. Best place to go for continental food in Kolkata at a price which does not give you a shock. Excellent quality and taste - should try crab soup, devilled crab, tetrazini, sizzlers. Cons - service laid back, cutlery and glasses needs at relook.

Me and my three friends visited Mocambo on Saturday night(20.02.2020). We had devil crab and two more starters which were shared among four of us and the main courses we had separately. After coming back we all suffered loose motion as a result of food poisoning. The entire day we suffered with vomiting and loose motion. We want to report the issue and request compensation for the same.

We ordered four items - a pork cutlet, a mutton sizzler steak, a chicken pavlograd, and a fish Florentine. The fish and the mutton were quite nice but the taste went downhill with the pork cutlet and chicken pavlograd. The worst was the chicken which was in a sea of butter and was salty like the sea as well. Overall a nice place to visit to satisfy your continental food cravings. Service was reasonably fast and efficient as well.

A cheese lover's paradise Went here today for an early dinner. It was Saturday, but fortunately did not had to wait at all. The staff were polite, although we had to specifically ask them to provide/fill water. Would expect that to be a default from them considering the hype the restaurant receives. Service was prominent. Food took a little while to prepare, main course more so. We ordered 2 starters: 1. Devilled crabs 2. Tuna fish dip with bread Both were very creamy and cheesy, I liked the crab better, fish dip was a tuna, mayo, salad mix and it was also good, it tasted a lot like the shwarma from Lebanese junction. For main course we ordered: 1. The fish Wellington 2. Minced pork steak 3. Prawn bell meuniure The fish again was extremely cheesy and filling, taste wasn't too great, the pork was disappointing, the prawn was delicious. Definitely the highlight of the evening. Overall the food was no doubt great, although the it didn't meet the overhyped expectations that comes with a legendary place like this.

** Must Try Chicken Orientale a la Mocambo ** Very very nice experience . Very good polite friendly stuffs. Located in park Street , Mocambo is a must visit food joint. The only thing I would complain is I felt the sitting place isn't that spacious. .coming to food : in one word DELECTABLE. We ordered Chicken sizzler , Devils crab which I found really tasty. But the dish of the hour was Chicken orientale a la Mocambo. This is one of best dish I had till date . Too succulent and appetizing. This is a must have dish , while vising Mocambo. Also the Virgin Mojito, for me is one of the best prefectly mixed Mojito I ever had . This outlet is known for its food quality and it didn't let us down . This is not pocket friendly restaurant. But will visit again !

I always prefer to visit small not so famous places but I heard this place recently got some award. I know it is very well known name in restaurant industry but never got a chance to visit before. My only review is the place is clearly "OVERHYPED". Every dish that I tried average or below average. Beef was stringy, baked Alaska was just a bad tooty fruty ice cream. Service was very slow, there was people waiting outside, still we got our bill more than 30min later of finishing our meal after asking three times! The Waiter who brought our bill stood there for tips, but tips are given because of service, and it just a bad hospitality. Total disappointment.

Mocambo was an interesting experience. Located ideally on Park Street, it has a very old school vibe from the very entrance itself and this continues throughout the entire experience. Nothing great about this place as such though it was really good till 3 years back. If I still go, it is for their steak and the Chicken Ala Kiev. The quality and the taste of Devilled Crab has gone down drastically. The waiters are slow and there is absolutely nothing in terms of service.

A place where infusion and heritage kicks in. Visited Mocambo, a quite a few months back and we had an enchanting experience. It was hell crowded but we managed to gather a seat. Chicken A la Kiev was fantastic and even the desert has an unique taste. We got a decent service from the staffs too. The ambience on the other hand says quite a lot about the restaurant. Dim lights played a good role on behalf of Mocambo. Overall, it was a decent experience and we liked it.

Must try dishes are Devil Crab and Chicken Ala Kiev, extremely delicious and mouthwatering. Devil crab has cheese with crab meat along with a pinch of boiled egg slice which gives the juicy and creamy texture of the food. Ala kiev has separate boiled carrot, peas, potato and an enclosed chicken breast fry with butter inside the chicken. Eating it with bread bun topped with butter will give extra bonus in the overall taste of the food. Overall ambience of the restaurant is good and extremely quiet to have good/audible conversation with friends.

I’ve visited this place for dinner. Best place for continental cuisine. Ambience was nice with dim lights. Food quality is good, staff behaviour is very pathetic. I’ve ordered •Cream of crab meat- 5/5 •Chicken A La Kiev- 2.5/5(not properly cooked, they butter was not melting properly from inside) •Beef Steak(I’ve asked the steak to be well done)- 2.5/5(steak was almost burnt & very chewy plus after requesting them to serve, they said they don’t serve beef, that sounds very strange to me) •Baked Alaska- 3/5

Ambiance and staff behavior is great I loved it but the quality of food is not good for the price I am paying . i. Prawn cocktail : Taste was good but the quantity was very small. The size of the bowl in which it is served created an illusion to be price worthy meal but it is not. Follow my photos. ii. Mixed sizzler : It contains prawn, chicken, mutton, paneer and egg. To be honest with you I didn't like it at all. Took almost 30 mins to serve it and I got only liver of mutton not a single piece of meat. It would taste better if it was served hot. iii. Mock-tail and desert was good . Spend approximately 1.3k for 2. Giving 3 star for food.4 stars for service and 5 star for ambiance.

Irrespective of the fact that this restaurant has got the INTACH heritage plaque (Blue Plaque), this has been my favourite hunting ground since childhood; Skyroom was a parallel for continental and colonial cuisine but unfortunately they decided to down their shutters long back. The menu is eclectic (calorie counters please stay away) and the list of special mentions would be long - but a top few definitely would be: Devilled Crabs, Chicken a la Kiev, Irish Steak (watch out for the flood of garlic butter), all the sizzlers, Lobster Thermidor, Fish Meunière, Chicken Tetrazzini, Chicken Stroganoff, Baked Alaska, etc etc etc. The decor transport’s you to the 1930s. Ask for the heavy silver mugs if you are having beer. Caution - the restaurant doesn’t accept any advance reservation, fills up pretty early and generally the wait is long if you are late - reach early (for both lunch or dinner).

Sharing about my experience there's nothing I can say I didn't like about the place, I just love everything starting from the ambience the food, the service, everything touched my heart. This is my third or fourth visit to mocambo and every time I go here it pleases my heart. We were a group of 5 to 6 people so we ordered two chicken steaks, one ham steak, one grilled bhekti and another Chicken Ala Kiev, all of the foods were so tasty with mushroom toppings and steamed vegetables and the the steak was absolutely beautifully cooked each and every time I go here I have to take the steak and this is like so so delicious. We had a bill of approximately 3,000 but the paying through swiggy, We got a discount of almost like 30% so it was also a good deal for us as well. We had good food. A good time and definitely a very good environment to have a blast with friends or family or whomever you want to go. Just go and enjoy this place.

Can't complain anything about Mocambo. Be it the service or the food or the vibe here, everything is just perfect. Only thing is you should be ready to wait for the seats. One of the kolkata classic places that still holds its charm. Visited on navami and it just turned out to be perfect.

So much has been said about this place that anything I write would be redundant, but I would still write though. So we went on a Dashami afternoon, and as expected we had to wait on a queue for more than an hour to get in. The ambience is really good although it was a bit too crowded owing to the Durga puja. The service was prompt and the staffs were courteous and attentive. We ordered Chicken Golden Fry Drum, Chicken A La Kiev, Chicken Oriental A la Mocambo, Plain Pulao, Kadhai Murg, Chicken steak Sizzler, Risotto Alla Sbiraglia Red sauce and Baked Alaska. I would suggest not to try Indian foods here because its mainly famous for its continental dishes and The Pulao and Kadhai Murg really did not taste great. I am not much into continental but I really liked the dishes. Overall it was a really great experience, I would definitely visit again. The condiment that was served with Chicken Golden Fry Drum deserves a special mention. It tasted great!

The dining experience was quite nice. While being on the pricier side, the menu had variety of options, with each dish clearly described and labelled. The servers were quite helpful with their suggestions. Although, it would be better to visit the place with someone who has some previous experience with continental food. We had also taken a Naan and Mutton Rogan Josh, which taste-wise was good, but portions of the mutton were very small, so would not recommend. All in all, if you are willing to spend a little on an occasional dinner, this would be the perfect place to go. (Also great for fancy date nights 🫶)

I would say the heritage fish steak was just heavenly. Heritage chicken steak was also good. Cream sweat corn soup and cream prawn soup was also nice. Even their sweat lime soda was well balanced. Only thing is that we went their at around 9pm and place was packed up. Fortunately we got a last available table. Old kolkata restaurants are poorly lit i should not complain. However i always want to see the food properly and like restaurants were light is sufficient so that i can see my food and appreciate its colour. As smell, view and taste are the 3 important things by which we appreciate any food. Ambience was so so not so impressive. The waiters were complying with pandemic norms. They were constantly wearing mask, gloves and face shield.

Nice ambience. We went over there on 26th Jan. It was crowded but we'll maintained with proper safety measures. As usual foods are really good, we tried few authentic dish like fish Diana.

Amazing food and really caring and sensitive staff. I know it's actually known for its fabulous seafood but really you haveeee to try it's chicken servings too. Damn was it amazing. We loved the main course so much we forgot to take pictures of it 😂

It's a place loved by non-vegetarians, heaven they say! Being a vegetarian, choices are less. The food is delicious though. They've maintained the menu and also the taste of what it's always been. One can't expect any change in the items that's there. Not even extra cheese or no cheese. That's one thing, they can go a little moderate about. I guess that's why they still exist. A place def to visit for the ambience and food of course!!

Loved the place. Ambience, staff everyone is so good that you will love to go there again and again. Food was so good that people will lick their fingers if they get to taste the food their. You will get liquor in that restaurant also. You will get Chinese, continental, north Indian, each and every type of foods here.

There was a large crowd on the day we decided to visit the restaurant. We had to wait for over an hour to get in and have our lunch. The ambience is very nice, with proper social distancing and sanitization norms being maintained. What to say about the food? I have never tasted continental food as light and flavourful as this. We had the signature dish of this restaurant, devilled crab. It was fried, but so light and less oily. We also had sizzlers, one of fish, and the other of chicken. And for the main course, we had Beckty Newburg, another signature dish. For dessert, we chose Chocolate Delight. Basically a triple layered sundae, it had chocolate ice cream, pineapple slices, and nuts on top. The service time is a bit long, and one may have to wait for quite sometime to get served. The price is a bit high, since this is an upmarket restaurant. Price of most dishes are upward of ₹300/-. Pocket pinch for two? Around 1000 -1200/-, depending on the dishes you have.

Went there some days ago with my friends.. They r maintaining all the safety and sanitisation guideline of government- thermal checking and hand sanitisation was done at the entry gate... But we had to wait for a long to get our seat ... Ambiance will give u a old calcutta vibe . Seating arrangement was very cozy .. But service could be a bit faster .. We a group of 5 people order mutton ,beef, chicken garlic steak and barbqued chicken along with a A-la-kiev. Steaks were damn good ... Finely grounded meat along with spices and herbs was just perfect ,however the beef steak was a bit hard and the roasted  chicken could have had more portion size . A-la-kiev had very good amount of butter inside of the thick meat coating but it was over salty..

Visited this legendary place last week after a long time. Not much has changed in terms of the mandatory waiting time on weekends, the courteous staff and cosy sitting. Was good to see that they have taken good measures for COVID-induced distancing by placing partitions between tables and all waiters were wearing masks and face shields. Coming to the food, tried some of their signature dishes and came away very impressed with the prawn cocktail, chicken supreme, fish a-la diana and crab claws. All the items used fresh ingredients and tasted awesome. Also, baked alaska is a must try for dessert. Overall, a grand luncheon that only one of the Kolkata elites can provide!

Mocambo known for its heritage and food. It has given Kolkata a number of dishes from the Russian era. The restaurant serves quality as well as quantity. Great food and great ambiance. One of the coziest places in town surely a good dating place must visit.

A very nice place to spend some quality time with friends and family to have some good food and good ambiance with a totally sanitised and hygienic eating place. But we have to wait for 45 minutes to enter the restaurant. Better not to try on weekends, or please adjust with the waiting period. We ordered Cream Crab soup, Chicken A La Kiev and Meat Lasagna. Each of these items was so delicious, and yammy..

It is one of the most famous restaurants of Park Street. Food is really great over here. Ambience is good as a family restaurant and one can enjoy themselves well. It is well known for its continental dishes, and some of them are really a must try. Their sizzler is also quite good. They have a vast range of bar menu and desert options as well. Just that the prices are a little on the expensive side. Though that is acceptable for such an experience. Overall it is a nice place to go with friends and family.

  • 4/5 Sohini M. 2 years ago on Google

One of the best destination for continental food. The ambiance is really nice. Food is a bit expensive, approx Rs.1200/- for two people. Can reach upto Rs.3000/- or more than that if you order liquor along with the food based on your consumption. Food quality are good. Not good for Kebabs and Indian dishes. But extremely nice for Continental, Sizzler etc. Highly recommended.

Foodwise amazing,. Average ambience...like one says one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover...every order has an unique taste...Crab, sea fish, sizzlers, stakes are healthy and tasty. No compromise on nearness and cleanliness. Though the beverages seems to be on higher side but food is excellent. It's an expanding restraunt now launching its chinese and thai cuisines.

  • 4/5 Snehansu C. 2 years ago on Google
Service was pretty good. All the staff followed covid protocols with masks , face shields etc. There were glass partitions for physical separation. The tuna fish appetizer was amazing. The lasagna was good but I had better. The fish Diana was good , but again lacked a bit of punch. However overall it was great and very filling. Portions are very generous.

This resturant is all about ambience and nothing about the quality of the food they serve. It's one thing that food is super expensive but the chicken steak that we ordered came out to be overcooked and rubbery. Even the kebabs were all dry sort.

One of the oldest and very popular restaurant in Kolkata for continental dishes. I liked mostly their appetizers - Mushroom Garlic Prawn, Chicken Meuniere. Amongst the main courses, I liked Fish A La Diana but it was over the top cheese. We also ordered sizzlers as we were told ,it being one of the signature dishes, the chicken in it was so overcooked and it didn't taste/look like sizzler at all. I would say if you have not been there ever and just want to experience the legacy and ambience, you can check out once.

Mocambo falls in one of the top heritage dining places in the city. Known for its rich & premium culture of culinary excellence. Devilled Crab, Chicken Ala Kiev, Prawn Cocktail - these are among the signature dishes of the place. You may also have Chicken Stroganoff which too is a worth item to try from the food menu. Ambiance of the place is one of its kind.

One of the best places I have ever been too. The peeson outside was so accommodating that we didn't mind waiting at all. We ordered 3 sizzler steaks, a spaghetti - bacon item, and a Chicken terazinni (sorry i forgot most names XD), along with 3 cocktails and a Baked Alaska. Its more affordable than you would think. For 6 of us, the bill for the whole thing was INR 3660. The quality of the food is heavenly. The environment, the waiters, everything about Mocambo is perfect.

We visited the restaurant on a leisurely Sunday afternoon. There was a queue, we had to write our names on a piece of paper at the gate. The waiting time was twenty minutes for the two of us. I think that a group of two people had a shorter waiting time than a larger group. We ordered the food promptly upon entry which was served within twenty minutes. It is a fairly large restaurant with a pleasing ambiance. The chicken steak was served with vegetables, a delectable sauce, and a sunny-side-up egg on top. The fish steak was served with vegetables and mushroom sauce. Both the steaks were sizzlingly hot and delicious. I would love to eat at the restaurant again and explore other items on their menu.

Visiting this place after 5 years, and the return felt like nothing ever changed. The atmosphere, the inner decor and vintage aura was intact as ever, giving me the full nostalgic vibe. The order consisted of Cecil's Jazzed, Irish Chateaubriand Steak, Fish A La Diana and 2 Virgin Mojitos. Cecil's was a good starter, the mutton was succulent and really melted in the mouth; the Fish Diana felt a bit sweeter than usual, but was quickly overpowered by the taste of the prawns and mashed potatoes that made it a worthy order. And my personal favourite, the steak was on point. The oncoming winter and a nice juicy steak with sauteed veggies is an absolute delight for a meat lover like myself. I said this once before, I'll say it again, the speed of service definitely needs to increase as the waiting time like in previous visits exceeded more than 30 mins. Hope visit again soon.

To have a delight experience of fine dining, one must visit there. But as it was my third visit there, I would say food was really average except devilled crab. We ordered starting from starters to main course, but we only liked the crab. Quantity is also very less in comparison to the price. But needless to say, the ambience and service was just perfect for family and friends. We took very few pics so I am adding here. But we ordered 7 items in total.

This place is very nice with a perfect ambiance for family and kids. The price is reasonable for both drinks and food. The quality and quantity is really amazing. For a couple a single dish of most of the items will suffice. It becomes full pretty fast so please care about booking. If you go by 7 pm it's still available. The place provides quite an ambiance where you can sit and enjoy your drinks and food with some decent gossip with your loved ones.🤩🤩🤩

Best restaurant experience so far for me 😁. The atmosphere was as good as their food. I really liked the devil crab I think you should definitely try this. Also other dishes I ordered were really delicious 😋. Service was also very nice. The only downside to me is that you have to wait more than 45mins outside on the weekend, although there are chairs available outside.

This place is at the heart of Prak Street famous for continental dishes. The decor is warm and spacious enough for small gatherings. We had Fish Wellington, Pork cutlet, tandoori chicken, Chateaubriand beef steak in rare medium and well done both, fish sizzler, chicken sizzler, risotto and chicken stroganoff. Coming to the first dish , fish was a bit smelly underneath the cheese bed. Order only if you're a huge cheese lover. They had scrumptious pork cutlets, it's really the highlight of the day. Tandoori is also good. Now for the steak part one can't really differentiate between rare medium and well done here, it's all the same and didn't hit the mark. Sizzlers were okay. Here a point to be noted if someone is not that much into veggies , grills sizzlers aren't value for money here. Chicken stroganoff was good. Overall it's a nice place to savor a wide range of varieties.

I loved the warm hospitality of the staffs, the ambience was top notch, the food quality n quantity was amazing. They don’t add service charge to the bill so need to pay separately. We ordered chicken a la kiev which was amazing and spaghetti was awesome too. For drinks we had order virgin mojito and strawberry crush which were pretty normal n we loved it.

Mocambo doesn't need any review in my humble opinion but I was surprised at the deterioration of their food quality. Everything from beef sizzler to the crab thermidor to the corn salad Everything has lost it's zing....the only thing that remains intact is the atmosphere and the pure nostalgia it offers with every visit. I really with to get the old mocambo back ( food wise)

One of the most reputed eateries in park street. Wanted to visit here once. The service and food didn't meet the hype. Highly overpriced and portion is very less. Had a Risotto which tasted awkward. Seating arrangement was nice and comfortable. Portion was so less we couldn't satiate our hunger. The experience was really bad.
