Good dining experience and nice food. Not so crowded and is a bit on the expensive side. Food was good and courteous staff helped us in all possible way. The joint is not a new one and has chic decor. We were missing the light music which they used to play.

Located at Hotel Samilton, 35A, Sarat Bose Rd, Paddapukur, Bhowanipore, Kolkata, West Bengal 700020, Pepper Chino is a multicuisine restuarant that has a very good selection of Chinese, which is their strength as well as Italian, some continental classics and Indian food on their menu. There is a wide choice of burgers, sandwiches and pizzas too which are all good to taste. They are open till 04:00 AM. Long painted bird cages on the wall are a perfect selfie spot.

Pepper chino can be said as one of the great restaurant in kolkata. The ambiance is great with a great location. Most important is the food its delicious where as I personally like the most is the serving style. You guys will love it the way they serve. It will be a great option with family, friends, couples as well as child.

Had an amazing evening at Pepper chino. The whiskey sour was nice and tasty, but not strong enough. We went for starters and were not disappointed. The music was mainstream pop songs, which was nice I guess. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Also, the stewards were amazing and so considerate when it came to serving the customers.

The Food part :- SPL CHILLI CHICKEN CRISPY CHILLI MUSHROOM AFGHANI FISH TIKKA ABU CHILLI KEBAB HARA BHARA KEBAB CHELLO KEBAB CHICKEN PATIYALA KASHMIRI NAAN LACHHA PARATHA CHICKEN THAI CURRY (RED) STEAMED RICE BROWNIE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM The must try ones of this place are the Crispy Chilli Mushroom , Chello Kebab, Chicken Patiyala and many more are there. In the starters you can have Afghani Fish Tikka Kebab and Abu Chilli Kebab. The tastes of the kebabs were really good and nice. Now coming to my favorite ones were the Chicken Patiyala and Lachha Paratha The price of these two dishes are very reasonable. The taste were amazing. The patiyala was soo good and the flavours were perfectly blended. Last but not the least the desert the brownie with Vanilla ice cream. Pepper Chino offers an amazing experience. Every dish looks mouth watering and tastes phenomenal. We went on 25th of December for lunch and ordered Lemongrass Fish as a starter and for main course - Sunrise Burger and Lamb shank steak. The staff is well behaved and made suggestions for food and drink. The ambiance and decor was Christmas themed and good music played softly in the background 🎉 P.S.: The only thing was the patty in the burger was a little undercooked. Apart from that, all the dishes we ordered were top notch. Shall visit again soon ❤️

Sometimes it is very tough to write about some restaurants. Pepper Chino falls under that category. I visited this place couple of days back & returned with nostalgic memories. I do not have much words to describe the quality of the restaurant. Humble behavior of the staffs comes with added benefit. Whenever I visit a restaurant, one thing flows in my mind that how the chef can prepare traditional as well as experimental dishes. This place offers you with warm reception and alluring interiors. Through their vast range of dishes, I ordered some dishes that I thought could enhance my taste buds. The bar at the very end of the eatery is cozy and very much like a tavern for which I can easily give a 4.5 out of 5. The old European style of the bar counter is quite intriguing. Though the restautant has changed it's interiors (which is quite warm itself), it has consistently maintained its glory in making food with same glory, love & spices. Starting from Chinese to Italian, each dishes can take your heart. Not just that, their Indian delicacies are also too good to taste. Once you enter, you'll be blown away by the ambience. After you take your seat, Menu Card should be in your hand. And now, it's my job to direct you to the right dish selecting. You have to taste these dishes that I'm mentioning here - Veg seekh kebab (if you're non-vegetarian, obviously you'll choose the non veg option), Drums of heaven (it comes in the sizzler plate, so make sure you click photos before the smoke vanishes), Golden fried prawn (this dish comes on shot glasses, so you've to align your phone diagonally to take the right shot, before munching this), Dal bukhara (the best daal makhana that I've tasted. Btw, it gets served in a small metal buckle. So, a bucket of water might stop yoy in this winter season, but this small bucket full of hot and buttery daal makhana will never stop you from digging into it and choice of your favourite bread can be a good pair with this), Chicken patiala (chunk of chicken pieces melt in your mouth, that's all I can say), Malai brocolli (if you're a non-vegetarian, this should be in your order list), Corn cheese triangle (small samosas that can be a good pair with the beverage) and Bhuna murgh pasanda kebab (all the kebab lovers, you have to order this). Was at this beautiful restaurant few days back. This restaurant has a very beautiful ambience, really loved the comfortable sitting arrangements. They have a huge sitting area. They serve Chinese, continental, and thai cuisine along with the Most popular Indian cuisine. We have tried their- Spcl chilli chicken. Crispy chilli mushroom Abu chilli kebab Hara bhara kebab Chicken patiyala Chello kebab Red thai curry(chicken) Kashmiri naan. Lachha parantha. Steamed rice. Brownie with ice cream. Among the various starter that we had ordered I really liked the taste of the Afghani fish tikka. I have had many Afghani tikka but this time my experience was totally different. The fish was vey soft, and once you put a piece in you mouth u will see a whole lot of flavours oozing out from this delicious piece.

***Pepper Chino*** Pepper Chino is considered as one of the best restaurant in Sarat Bose Road. The location of this place is very prime precisely it's located near Jai Hind Dhaba in Paddapukur Road. This restaurant is very well decorated. The ambiance of this place is too good. The Fanush lamps inside the restaurant made it look very pretty. A kind of restaurant that serves almost all cuisine like Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mughlai, North Indian and Continental which is very rare in the city. The staffs inside the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. This restaurant offers lunch buffet at ₹. 499/- plus tax which is quite reasonable. Now coming to the food we ordered. In frame : *Starters* Baby Corn Salt and Pepper - What an amazing item this was to start with. The baby corn was soft and crispy and crunchy too. Tasted delicious. Abbu Chilly Kebab - This dish was very uncommon. The pieces of chicken were very well marinated and was roasted properly. It tasted delicious. *Mocktail* Brain Cooler - This drink went very well with the starters. This drink had a cucumber flavour in it and was damn refreshing. *Salads and Chat* In the salad section they had Sprout Salad, Russian Salad, Green Salad and Aloo Chana Chat. All these were pretty fresh and tasted great. *Main Course* Steamed Rice - Perfectly cooked basmati rice was amazing. Yellow Dal Fry - The dal fry went very well with the steamed rice. The taste was pretty good. Aloo Gobi Matar - This was a fried item that was combined with the rice and dal. It had pieces of aloo, gobi and matar that tasted amazing. Exotic Veg - Mixed Vegetable Curry which was nicely made tasted awesome. Mince Chicken Hot Basil - One of the Chinese item that was amazing. It had shredded chicken in hot basil sauce. Sarso Fish - This was a real bong delight. Fish well cooked in mustard that tasted delicious. Ginger Fried Rice - The fried rice tasted delicious. It had a lot of baby corn and peanuts that made it damn good. Veg Hakka Noodles - A very common item that was prepared really well. *Dessert* Hot Gulab Jamun - This is considered as one of the best dessert. The gulab jamuns were soft and was tasty. Caramel Custard - This was too good. Darshan - A very commonly used dessert in almost all the restaurants now. This was superb. Butter Scotch Ice Cream - This was served which was very well designed. I went there based on reviews by people. Went in and found it to be one of the good old setups of hotels in Kolkata. Placed an order for a hot pot dish. The waiter is standing and checking the price of the dish with me as soon as I have ordered 🤣. Funny. I also had the BBQ chicken steak. The steak was good. Well done. The hot pot was a let down. For 535 rs, I got a small portion of noodles(enough for 1) and 4 pieces of prawns only. 🤣 And service was like as of they started us count the cost of everything as.we order like a dhaba. Service killed the mood. The hot pot dish was a major let down.

We went there with our friends on the occasion of Durga Puja 2023. This puja, after having cuisines like North Indian, Chinese, Mughlai we thought of giving a try to some continental foods. And found this gem on Google. The quality of all the foods were almost authentic. We really liked the taste of their food very much. Also the ambience was very good and cozy and well decorated as well. The staff were well dressed and well trained as well and very courteous. We'll visit them again very soon. SUCH A NICE PLACE. LOVE IT

Attached with the Samilton Hotel on Sarat Bose Road, this restaurant has an amazing melange of Indian, Chinese, Continental dishes and thin crust Pizzas. We ordered Indian this time around- Bhatti da Murg, Naan, Dal Bukhara, Chicken Butter Masala and Bhuna Gosht. The Bhatti da Murg is juicy and delicious, the Dal Bukhara extremely creamy and smooth and goes well with Indian breads. The Bhuna Gosht and Chicken Butter Masala were also right on the mark in terms of flavour. Overall, a must visit again. There were some issues with service in terms of the starters arriving after the main course and repeatedly asking for spoons and salt and pepper and not receiving it. However, that can be attributed to the Puja rush and easily glossed over due to the quality of food served. Even the dessert, Caramel Custard deserves a special mention.

One if the secret places. The food is absolutely awesome. You can order anything and the chef makes sure the food always and everytime will be superb. The attendants are courteous. Service is quick. No ambiance but food is better than most of the restros i have tasted.

Food quantity was just average, starter barely sufficient for a single person. Price on the higher side. But they cheated us in the bill.they charged for 2 pegs of alcohol extra though we had ordered and consumed only 2. We brought it to their notice but they wouldn't agree..we paid for the beverage that we had not consumed... completely fraud restaurant. Anyone who visits must check the bill properly... otherwise sure to be forged.

Found it to be good and a classy restaurant. The food is good especially the asian ones. The ambience is also very good. Friendly and quite interactive staff. Yes they can CON you with the service charge but I prefer paying a good tip instead of paying the hotel owners more.

It's amazing that this place is open till so late in the night and that they serve the entire menu throughout. Their north Indian food, especially the black dal and tawa paneer is very tasty!

Pepperchino is one of those old yet classy restaurant located at 35A, Sarat Bose Rd, Paddapukur, Bhowanipore, Kolkata - 700020. Usually the term 'Pepperchino' is the generic Italian name for hot chili peppers, specifically some regional cultivarsof the species Capsicum annuum and C. frutescens. The peperoncino probably came to Italy in the early 16th century, after Christopher Columbus took samples from the New World to Europe in 1492. Like the tomato, the peperoncino was first considered a decorative and possibly poisonous plant before it was adopted into Italian Cuisine. I recently visited Pepper Chino restaurant with my friends. It has a very sober, decent, stylish decor with a seating capacity of 60-70 people. It also has a bar which is fully stocked. Pepper Chino restaurant menu consists of a wide range of dishes spanning Asian, Indian and Continental cuisines. I tried out the below items — For starters — Veg Clear Soup — What can be better than a bowl of hot clear soup in this winter? It was loaded with veggies like mushrooms, broccoli, lettuce, carrot, etc and tastes really good. A healthy & tasty one. Veg Seekh Kebab — Seekh kebab are more popular in non veg preparations, but I must say I tried this item and I was really impressed. I have tried veg seekh kebabs at many places but this one was really good the veggies in it were very finely chopped, grinded and mixed with the spices, giving a meaty texture from outside and really delicious in taste, served along with lachha onion salad and pudina chutney. Malai Broccoli — Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables and I usually like all preparations of this vegetable. When Broccoli infuses with Malai or Cream, it's a magical taste all together. I simply loved this item and it indeed stole my heart. The soft broccoli boiled and layered with cream along with red chilli powder slightly sprinkled on it tasted way too amazing. Corn Cheese Triangle — Small triangles pocketing corn and cheese, crisp fried till golden was another best starter in veg here, according to me. When you take a bite, its crunchy and melting cheese inside. Mind blowing one. Main Course — Mixed Sauce Veg Pasta — The Penne Pasta was very thick, creamy, cheesy, loaded with veggies and tossed in mixed sauces tastes lip smacking good. Dal Bukhara — Similar to Dal Makhani but definitely much better version of it. It was very smooth, thick gravy perfectly balance of flavourful spices, topped with fresh cream. It was mouth watering delicious. Bread basket — Consisting of Tandoori Naans to be eaten along with Dal Bukhara. I also tried out some Cocktails which were refreshing, nicely presented and very different in taste. — Chocolate fudge Martini Whisky Sour Classic Margarita Swimming pool Along with these my friends tried out Drums of heaven, Golden fried prawn, Bhuna murgh pasanda kebab, Chicken patiala. They too found the respective dishes to be mouth watering delicious, very different in taste and appreciated the cooking style. The items are priced at very pocket friendly rates considering both the quality and quantity of food, costing approx ₹1200 for 2 people. The staffs were really polite with prompt service. I had great time here with my friends along with the amazing food. I would recommend everyone to try out this place for once and you will surely like delicious food and great hospitality.

Dig in at Pepper Chino, Paddapukur. Pepper Chino brings to you an amazing array of food and drinks that will leave you content and dil se khush. We started off with Vegetarian Seekh Kebabs, which was flavorful, to say the least. We were greeted with sizzling Drums of Heaven, which was so succulent and was super tasty as we dug into every bite of it. Next in the line was Golden Fried Prawn which was prawn wrapped up and made to a golden crisp so that the outer crisp balanced the inner soft and squishy prawn, a definitive must-have. The last starter that we were served was the Corn Cheese Triangle, which was essentially a samosa n but filled with grated cheese and corn, an elegant combination. The main course had us looking over to Dal Bukhara and Malai Broccoli in the vegetarian section, which was absolutely fantastic, even coming from a non-vegetarian lover like me. The malai dripping off of the broccoli was almost as pleasurable as the creaminess of the dal. The non-vegetarian option included Bhuna Murg Pasinda Kebab and the Chicken Patiala, both of which were piquant and relishing. The perfect accompaniment was found in the bread basket, which had assorted naans and kulchas.

Hopped into this restaurant with my friends and was very pleased by the ambience and friendly staff. The food here is quite good in terms of quantity and quality, they have a wide range of menu to choose from. They serve alcohol as well. You should definitely visit this restaurant with family and friends to dig into their delicacies. A few days ago I went to North Indian restaurant at Paddapukur,Bhavanipur,Kolkata beside Jai Hind Dhaba . Firstly I really liked the ambiance and the choice of the music being played was really nice, giving you a perfect the perfect vibe of the cafe . Starting with the starters I tried Sunehri Paneer Tikka,Hara Bhara Kebab, Crispy Chilli Babycorn in Taipai Sauce, Chicken Malai Kebab,Panko Crumped Chicken 🍗 . For main course I tried Calzones Pizza,Veg Kofta, Chicken Patiala,Tawa Paneer Gravy,Asst Roti 🫓 .For drinks I tried Super 16 , Girlfriend,Flying Cloud and to complete everything I ended with Sundae Brownies The quality and the quantity was really good 😌.Staff are maintaining full hygiene.The restaurant is having Zomato pro offer going on so it’s a deal I recommend this place for your family and friends time .
