Awesome experience of having Italian food. Probably best Italian restaurant ever in Kolkata. Pretty impressive environment. Awesome service and humble behavior. Foood Quality is pretty impressive. I'm eager to visit this place again. And have some great memories with this restaurant.

Authentic Italian restaurant in Kolkata. I read some bad reviews about this place so bit a sceptical before visiting but good that I thought of give it a try and this is a must try. We tried cold antipasti, crudo pizza, seafood pizza and Tiramisu. Each and every single dish excels. The chef Dola Singh and supervisor Mr Abhishek Poddar did attend personally and we did chat a lot. I loved this place. Not only for food but the ambience and staffs.

The open kitchen shines at this luxury restaurant, located inside the Hyatt Regency. The Seafood Soup and Green Lasagna are must tries. Peach Lemonade mocktail is excellent

Ambience is superb... Food is outstanding... Presentations are mind blowing... But the service is horrible... If you want to have some good food and you have huge time in your hand... Then this is the place for you... They are not capable of Handling a full house... Although the staffs are well behaved... But they are on wrong hands of the Manager... Because after hearing everything... If you become oversmart in serving some things else... Is not acceptable... Pocket pinch is completely justified if you avoid the service wala thing...

It's ok place as far as vegetarian food is concern for typical Indian style taste and food lovers. It doesn't have that typical taste we look for. The one we like in Pizza hut or dominos. It may be more authentic Italian but if you are looking for Indian taste in Italian food which we most Indian love and look for then you may be disappointed. I tried soup, one warm appetizer, veg risotto, veg pizza. Out of these four soup was good. Appetizer was average but melting cheese was good in that. Pizza had a thin crust base which was just warm and after some time difficult to eat also. Ambience was nice.

Where do I even start while writing this review? The whole experience was horrible. Starting with when we entered the restaurant. We were told that most of the tables were reserved for guests but in reality only three were occupied. We didn't have a reservation. Only when we told that we then would go somewhere else did they give us a table. Secondly, when I told them whether they could arrange a cake for my wife's birthday, they said they cant as it had to be informed a day in advance. Third, the price of the dishes didn't meet the expectations of the portions. The taste however was awesome. Forth and most importantly, when we wanted to pay via Zomato pro, we were denied and we couldn't take the offer. We were asked to book through Dine Out instead. We were quite perplexed. I don't think we will ever visit this restaurant again.

Good Italian food... Risotto is one of the best here.. but the service is not very prompt. They get very slow in service... Specially when the restaurant is not too full. But if you let them know about it.. they do try to make it better.

The most horrible service ever. Our first fine dinning with kids after the Covid Outbreak. It was so disappointing inspite of us having 4 children on our table. The restaurant had just 6 tables occupied and still the waitress was shuffling between tables to serve. The service was so poor and the person serving was so careless that we got a feeling that a Dhaba would have been a better option. The drinks ordered for children in the beginning were served at the time of dessert after reminding her couple of times. There was no problem with the food but the service was the worst ever. Definitely not worth going anymore. This was last Saturday at Dinner. Now I get it why all other places had no place to sit while La Cucina was serving only 6 tables and rest were all empty. I am sure the service has been like this for quite sometime now. Hope they improve. I wish I had an option to rate Negative here.

This is a restaurant you can go umpteen number of times. The employees are so dedicated that they provide a service which is way above you would get from an average restaurant even at a five star. The restaurant manager Nawal does an exceptional job at keeping his team demotivated and keeping the guests enchanted.

I had a great experience at La Cucina. Especially for Mr. Abhishek who treated us like family and served us well. The food was really awesome I really hope to visit again.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Kolkata. We had the carpaccio and the steak and took home a chicken asparagus pizza. All were excellent. The meat (cooked medium rare) was wonderfully prepared. Chef Dola personally came over multiple times to talk to us and made this a very special meal. Aritra served us and was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

The quantity they had served is very meager with respect to single dish for per person. Food quality is above average. Pizza is like biscuit ( not bread) with chicken and others toppings. Domino's is far far better. Even any local pizza shop serve at least bread as a base. But La Cucina is to be different that's why they served biscuit with chicken toppings. Ambience is good at least. You can click some good photographs for social media. But main purpose remain...........??????

Attentive friendly service and the mocktails are unique albeit a bit too sweet for me. The carbonara was delicious but the pasta was not housemade which was a shame. The lamb ragu bolognese with housemade pasta was rich and tasty. The burrata is a bit dry though and could benefit with some olive oil. Overall decent food, and after weeks of Indian food, it’s good to get some nice Italian cuisine.

Only except for the free bread appetiser along with the herbed cheese,nothing is worth..not even the service when the restaurant was not even full..not the quality of the food..neither the ambience..if u really want to fill ur heart and hunger with the brand name then definitely this is the place to be..i opted for a seafood pasta..which didnt even had prawns in it forget any other sea creatures and only were filled with a few chunks of fish..probably ur own mother who is a pro cooking Indian dishes will pull it better..we also opted for some butter garlic prawns instead of calamari as it wasn't available on the menu and it was so damn ordinary esp.owing to the price..last but not the least, the dessert,please do not even ask me about it! I hated the mocktails too..just make sure that in ur case the mocktails are made without ice..now coming back to the service, i believe who believes that money matters and who all cares more about the quality of food, please do visit here in order to know how well you can spend your money on NOTHING..probably it was my own experience which was this exclusively drastic..but i could not stop myself from writing how I actually felt when i got such a disastrous food and service for such a lumpsum amount..

It was a really nice experience for me. The environment is fantastic. The staff's are really friendly and very well conversant. Foods are a bit expensive though but its also very tasty. You will love it here.

La Cucina is the Italian gem of Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. It offers you quality italian food. One sure recommendation would be the ginger cooler, quite different from what I’ve had in other places and very refreshing. For my main course I had the roasted garlic and sun dried tomato pizza, which was freshly baked and tasted nice, though not much appealing to my personal taste. Along with the pizza I had the baked pasta with stuffed vegetables in white sauce, this one was creamy and oozing with cheese, brava! Overall a good experience. Many thanks to Ms. Shoumani, my server for the day. Keep it up!
