Didn't like the chicken piece of the biriyani at all, they are taking nearly 300 for chicken biriyani and providing that piece?!!! Though the taste of the biriyani and quantity was good. Loved the egg chicken roll though, for that gave one star.

Location : Behala tramdipo. A few steps ahead of Behala bazaar metro station stoppage. Service : Both restuarant and takeaway is present at the same place side by side. Price : reasonable price. One can pay cash or online payment through Google pay Taste : fatafati taste. 👌🏽 Ambience : located within Behala bazaar area, so exceptional selfie atmosphere is not present. The area always stays congested and noisy. Parking : not available in front of the restuarant but one has to manage it in front of the bazaar. My favourite: Chicken roll. Price : Rs 60. The chicken pieces inside the roll are mini kebabs and very tasty One roll is sufficient for dinner. I haven't found anywhere chicken roll better than Hazi Saheb.

Laccha Paratha @ Rs.20 (4/5) Mutton Chap @ Rs.230 (4.5/5) ------------------------------------ Excellent, fabulous, brilliant all these words will be very less to describe it. Mutton piece was so soft that was just melting in the mouth. Served in a large bowl the quantity was more than enough. The gravy was extremely rich and flavorful but very oily. Overall, the taste was unique and I've never tried such rich chap anywhere else in Kolkata. This is a must try combo but remember try once in a while. Due to its richness and use of so much dalda, oil and ghee your heart will not like it as much as your tastebuds. Mutton Biryani Special @ Rs.380 (4/5) ----------------------------------------- Don't confuse this branch of Haji Saheb with the one at Park Circus. It tastes different than their Biryani. Once again, they surprised me with the quantity, good soft well-cooked mutton and the richness like other dishes. Extraordinary soft potato and the flavorful rice. Overall, very good. Believe me this place doesn't need a review. If you love rich north Indian food and never been to Haji, then please visit them once. You won’t regret it.

I ordered mutton kasa , chicken Tikka roll , and tandoori roti n chicken kebab (1)So basically i ordered mutton kasa n chicken roll but they putted mutton kasa n chicken roll in a same bag n because of that that mutton kasa , oil was spilled in all over the chicken roll which wasn't eatable for those who doesn't eat mutton . (2)instead of chicken kebab they send me some chicken dry gravy with lots of onions in it. (3)now come to the tandoori roti , i ordered butter tandoori roti but it seems they wasn't having a enough foil paper because they packed rotis in a very small foil which was so small n wasnt enough for those rotis, also those rotis was very cold . N when i complaint in swiiggy about this they suddenly closed my chats without given n answer I'm so disappointed with these peoples and with swiggy as well They don't deserves any customer at there restaurant , guys please don't order anything from these people , even i given a call to the restaurant but they don't even care n they just hangup the call without saying a single word ...

Along with this they have a special Biriyani which includes 2 piece of chicken, 1 potato and 1 egg in the dish. Their chicken chap is also awesome. Other attractions are rolls, egg roll, egg chicken roll, Tikka rolls are their specialty. If u haven't tasted Haji Saheb then u should try it. Highly recommended for non-veg lovers. If u r not able to go to Haji saheb then u can order from zomato and swiggy. They also have a sitting facility.

This eatery is famous for their biryani, so we also tried and loved it. Food was very good, but too much oily, I mean you can see chicken swimming in oil in chicken bharta 🤣. Location wise it is very good, but not recommended for elders. The narrow steep staircase is would be a big problem to the aged people.

Just an average place. Food quality not upto the mark as per the cost. A plate of roganjosh consisting of 2 pieces costs Rs. 200 , but both the pieces were undercooked and hard. So we had to keep it on the plate. Quality of special chicken biryani was just average. And the waiter couldn't hear us after calling him repeatedly for cold drinks.

One of most favourite restaurants in the behala area. Their rolls are extremely famous and during the peak evening time there is always a huge rush in the roll counter. The Indian main course is also very good. Biryani is equally good. Other items, haji special mutton keema, feels great with their laccha paratha. In the chinese items, my personal favourite is the Chicken hongkong noodles. 😍

Went there after a long time. Ordered Double chicken roll and Egg Mutton roll. The taste is same as it has been over the years, however the thickness of the paratha is reduced. I used to love Haji Saheb from childhood but now they have become so reluctant and their food has become degraded but their famous role is delicious. 2 or 3 times I tried their different tandoori foods tandoori chicken item but they test like same the gravy of their butter chicken and chicken bharta is mostly same. Bty service is fast and it's a good family restaurant but they does not offer a variety of veg food and paneer items. Their quantity and pricing is quite good. Today I visited their and had the same experience. I love 💗 Hazi rolls & biriyani that's why it is very disheartening 💔 Today I ordered Mutton Rogan juice and mutton biryani. The pieces of Mutton are too much hard and and the gravy was 99% similar with chicken kosha or any other gravy. Also the oil content was too much high. I am disappointed. I used to love their Biryani but the potato was not so soft and the rice was average. I also talked with the manager as I think as a Haji lover it is our responsibility to talk to them about their food.

Although we visited in the lunch hours...the outlet was not that much crowded...however being a weekend there were people jostling up...especially in the takeaway section... Didn't find them adhering to the basic covid19 hygiene norms...like using sanitizer or wearing gloves while serving or preparing the food...however, the employees at the outlet were maintaining the basic 1 metre distance and were wearing a face mask... The eatery is very famous in Behala. I will suggest you to have rolls from here.The rolls are delicious and worth the money. However other dishes are pretty average in taste. Our today's order was laccha paratha, chicken tikka masala and Haji special mutton keema. Laccha paratha was very tasty and flaky. Chicken tikka masala was average in taste but quantity was good. Mutton keema had an egg in it, quantity was good but taste was okay, nothing special. The eatery has both dine in and takeaway option. The dine in place is decent but the stairs are very steep and I won't suggest very old people to climb those stairs.

This restaurant is an emotion for me from my childhood. Back then when Biriyani is not available near my house like today, this place is the one that provided my favourite Biriyani dishes. I used to visit there once in every year during Puja. For me, Biriyani means Haji Saheb in that time. After many years, I came to know that Rolls are very famous here. One of the most iconic places to experience Mughal cuisine....and they serve best rolls in the town....I coudn't resist myself once I got their best seller Egg-Chicken roll in my fist which resulted no snaps ..the entire paratha was full of tender chunky chicken pieces wrapping around with a thick layer of a fried egg....To summarize , one could definitely order food or visit Haji Saheb for their own lipsmacking experience after this unbearable lockdown....Stay Home , Stay Safe....

After covid 19 pandemic I went for the first time in a restaurant with my friends ...they were taking all the precautions , there was an arrangement for sanitizing and they allowed people in there restaurant after thermal checking and all the waiters are properly sanitized before serving food ..they were glavs and mask and head mask also ... I was ordered chicken bharta ,rumali roti ,laccha paratha, chili chicken and paneer butter masala.. quantity and quality both are tooo good ....

Behala's Famous Biryani Outlet was surprisingly not upto the full satisfaction but certainly was very good. The quantity was good as well the meat was tender. The aloo was tender but that typical "Aloo" charm was missing. Could have been better but overall definitely good experience. Price is on the average side but can be a bit costly if you're tight on budget. Definitely recommended to visit here.
