I eat out a lot and I can safely say this is one of my favourite ‘Chinese’ food restaurants in the city. The most amazing part is that their flavours have remained authentic and consistent from the time I was little. Their starters are delicious. Definitely try the chilli prawn, dry chilli chicken, special red chow, sloppy noodles… If you plan a visit, it’s best to call and book ahead because they make everything fresh (including their noodles, from scratch) and May sometimes run out. I was sad when they’d shut down during covid but am thrilled that they reopened.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant. But I don't know what the hype was about here. Hygiene cautious people kindly stay way away from this. Also the restaurant is exhobarently highly priced for a place like this.

My husband and I have been craving authentic Calcutta Chinese food since we got to India. No other place appeased our cravings as much as this place. Every dish was so flavorful and brought back so many memories of our childhood. The food had a distinct Chinese food flavor which is hard to find anywhere in Calcutta.

Was taken there by a local from Tangra and we started off with the hot and sour soup.... It was delicious. Next up were Lemon Chicken and Chilli Chicken.... Both were delicious as well. The Hung Ye Mein was even better... A slight sweet noodles with chicken which had a Smokey flavor and was absolutely delicious. This place is the most authentic Chinese food you can find in Tangra and highly recommended.

I noticed lots of things there like its ambience, its location where it is situated, its parking area which is extravagant and most importantly its mouth watering food. you know what I enjoyed everything there. What a staff members, how they welcome and present food items you wish to have is lovely and remarkable. This restaurant is reasonable for all. Just go there and let your buds taste multi cuisines.

Amazing food quality taste and quantity. Order early and call them for some specialty items. Thai soup, chicken with bone fries, drum sticks, chilly prawn, and veg manchurian were in the menu for us, and all were so fresh, soft, and lightly coated. Very cost effective if attended in a group. Definitely recommended.

They serve authentic Chinese food. The food is fresh, yummy and has authentic chinese flavours. Must try fish, chicken chilly with bone, varieties of noodles, stir fry vegetables, soup, etc. A gem restaurant in Tangra, China Town Kolkata.

A homely family restaurant. No special Chinese food. Unpleased staff. Not found any Chinese people in or around.

Fantastic fold.. if you want authentic Chinese go there..if you want atmosphere vibes etc,don't go.

Food was tasty but service was appalling, waited 1.5 hours for food, then they told us they had actually run out of chow mein after we had been waiting for 1.5 hours! After asking several times how long our food would be, we ended up leaving with empty stomach and going elsewhere to fill up.

We've been going to Kim fa for decades now and know exactly what to order without even looking at the menu. It's a constant source of comfort food for us. Our set order includes the boneless chilli chicken (dry), the boneless lemon chicken (dry), chilli fish or prawn, depending on what we're feeling like having, meifoon and bok choy.

Don’t go by the look or ambiences when you visit this place, it’s the food that speaks! Just think that you are having ur meal at home.. must visit for home cooked Chinese food.

The staff is reluctant to explain and help the guests. They are ever ready to finish serving and chase the customers.

Among all the other restaurants at Tangra, this one is my favourite. Don't go by the exterior and also the interiors of the restaurant because the food here is so satisfyingly awesome ! Everything from the Thai soup to the chilli fish, the lemon chicken to the meefoon, it's all so so so good ! They don't have much for vegetarians here though, the best of vegetarian here is the chilli mushroom and chilli babycorn along with the meefoon. This place is more a non-vegetarians delight ! Everything is Yummy in my tummy 😋

Nice Chinese restaurant. Little bit overpriced ( my point of view). They usually closes down early at evening. Chicken, Fish, Prawn and Pork available. At evening little bit crowded. Noodles are good.

We had ordered spcl. Chowmin and garlic chicken gravy. The taste of chowmin is average but the garlic chicken was not good at all.

Amazing food. Whenever you visit try having thai soup (chicken /Mix). It's so delicious. And you try ginger chicken or drumstick, chicken and chicken meifoon. Omgggg it's amazing. The staffs are very well mannered. This restaurant is a must visit if you're planning to go to Tengra. KUDOS

Authentic Chinese food. Very good taste.

If you’re looking at authentic Chinese food, this place is a must and it’s very traditional as if you’re lucky the owner himself cooks and serves you. It thrives with the old traditional culture of dinning in Kolkata.

Although the looks and interrior are shabby but The Food is Awesome. I meet people eating there for the past 40 Years. Earlier they used to serve alcohol but now they have refrained from doing so. Without the alcohol, the place is still crowded.

Food quality is good, not so expensive

Very oily food. The oil seems to stick to your mouth and doesn't go for a while. The soups are a bit like corn-flour sludges. However, it all tastes really good. The menu is generally very simple, you won't have to think too much to decide.

The food is ok but the service is worst . We have to wait 01:15 hour to get food and the waiter is bad . But the atmosphere is too good and food to but we don't like fry chicken with gravy.
