Country roads is a small and nice microbrewery located inside Jagdish Stores near Newtown. While their craft beer is really nice and underrated their food is also really affordable. The quantity of food served was more than enough and value for money . The place also serves signature sizzler’s and cocktails that could be worth trying. This place could be picket friendly and perfect for an evening out with friends while trying fantastic beer.

This place has really good Happy Hours! Got my 1st glass of 250ml Craft Beer at ₹1 on ordering food. Do try veg platter, White sauce pasta, Salt pepper Mushrooms, Crispy baby corn, Tangri Kebab, Smoke Chilli Chicken, Murg Mastana Kebab, Fish Dumplings in Oyester Sauce, Gondhoraj Mahi Tikka, Reshmi Kebab, Country Favourite, Chicken Tex Mex, Delta of the Ganges.

Very good food. I visited this restaurent 3 time. So you can understand how good the food is. By the way every time I had a common item, that is shrimp stuffed Kolkata bhetki fry, jus ask them country club's cheese and shrimp stuffed bhetki fry. Atmosphere also good. No loud noise. Staff are also friendly. Overall a must try restaurant.

You will feel good , eat good and drink good. The ambience is good. Arrangements are good. Staffs are prompt and they do take care. Hygiene is maintained. Overall you can spend a good time there with friends and family. Beer is good. Maybe in few days it will better. The brewery can be seen and looks good. Do visit. Worth for your time and money !!!

To shed your loads Come to Country Roads! We were just left spellbound by the food and drinks served out here, that too very promptly. Mostly, pubs focus on drinks and ignore the quality or quantity of food served. Country Roads is an exception. This place maintains a perfect balance of everything - whether it comes to taste of food or alcoholic drinks or mocktails, or whether it comes to ambiance i.e., it has a both lounge feel for friends hangout or party and at the same time, it is family friendly or fit for romantic dining. So one finds bar stools as well as comfy couches and cushioned chairs. All the dishes have distinctive flavours of their own with nice presentation and plating, made with ease and expertise and with fresh ingredients, at reasonable pricing and in generous portions. Been here on a recent trip to Kolkata, drove down especially to this place after having read the reviews. And it really stood up to the them, everything we ordered was good. At first, we thought the we’ve over ordered but when the food came, it was so good that got polished away quickly. We ordered Bhetki (fish) Sizzler - Lemon Butter sauce, was served with grilled vegetables and rice Chicken Sizzler - Black Pepper sauce , was served with grilled vegetables and rice Chicken Hakka Noodles Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce Fresh Lime Soda - Mix I wish I could go back soon and enjoy the meal again. The best part was, extra sauce was served with both the Sizzlers, we enjoyed the whole meal Their pricing, portion, quality, everything is good. Service was good too.

Its a pretty good place for hangout. They make some of the unique beer 🍻🍺 with their own recipe. Taste of each beer what they prepare is awesome. One can get other type of beer also which and all available in market. When it's comes to price it's definitely reasonable for all kind of liqueur (whiskey/beer/vodka/rum..whatever they serve) Food and ambience also upto the mark.

Ambience was pretty good and staff was also very professional. We went during the lunch hours so it was mostly quiet, just how we like it! The food was also absolutely fantastic, specially the non veg items. The malai chicken tikka was very tender and flavourful and the classic tandoori butter chicken with laccha paratha was just too good. Budget friendly and a perfect place to grab a drink.

If you're looking for freshly brewed beer at a reasonable price,this is your place to be. They have an entire menu dedicated to alcohol and there's a bar counter too to choose your cocktails. As per food is concerned, it's really delicious and hygienic. Would recommend to try Chicken Drumsticks, Fish in garlic honey sauce. The salad was too bland but you can't expect much from salad. Staff service is upto the mark. However would have preferred if they'd have a dance floor.

Best ambience!..the prices are very reasonable. The happy hours stayed till 7 pm. Reached there at 5 30 pm. And stayed till 9pm. The price was only 3k. It's a pub. Not a dance club. The amount of food they give and quantity was very good..

Its on 2nd floor in Galleria; locating it may be tricky for some. I've been here few times at different timing of the day and for sure the best moment when to go there is by night time. Well I have been to this place a lot! I love the ambience and the drinks are awesome! Especially the caesar salad and crispy chilly corn or even the main course items. Good sheesha and music. I think it's good for friends to get together or to chill after the office. The prices are convenient. The plus point is they have their own brewery where they serve wheat and oat beers.....

Decent place for casual dining and drinks, but tables are placed too close to each other so you might feel lack of privacy as tables are placed too closely. Food quality is good and in house beers are good too. Hokaah is not recommended in this place.

Perfect place to hang out with friends. Price is moderate, food and ambience was good. We had jumbo chicken platter, chicken sizzler and chicken alfredo pasta, with their premium and scotish ale home brewed beers. The brownie was good too.

In house brewed beer is great and few of their cocktails are good too. Service is bit slow and not all the dishes are perfect. Overall it was a good experience and a balanced price compared to its peers

We went there on 14th Feb, this year, a band of 4. It was fully packed, with many people waiting outside. Alcohol prices are reasonable, food prices are little bit on the upper side. But the taste - oh man! It was too good! We ordered 3 starters, tastes were awesome. Same with 3 main courses we ordered. We liked the ambience as well. Honestly, have nothing negative to say about this place.

Dropped into this microbrewery on Diwali night this year 2020. As the name suggests people should be getting the option of craft beers as they claim. But though said they don’t have it on the house. They had only 1 flavour and that’s it. Staff and people are good and the also the hookah was good. The vibe of the place needs to be more good as they call it a microbrewery. This was somewhat like a normal alcohol serving bar. Donno if this was covid effect. Food served was good and my rating is only for the amazing food they have. But I felt compared to the ambience and place the food seemed over prized and very less in quantity also. Also the cocktails were very good specially the tequila sunset was too die for. A go to place with friends. Good food, especially the Fried Chicken Supreme and Honey Mustard fish. The Belgian and German flavours from their microbrewery comes with an average taste. Safe and Blind buy, nothing much to complain about.

Located on the 2nd floor of Galleria Mall, New Town, this pub enchants ppl with its allure of a Microbrewery with cool decors. Crowd is mostly young. It may be a delight for beer-drinkers...but at least as of Jan. 2020, it serves only 2 beers from its own microbrewery. Both are decent. One is greeted by the astounding sight of huge tanks, in blue hues, that are the heart and soul of this establishment. Prasenjit - the bartender- is your "go-to" guy for drinks. He makes some amazing concoctions...and their 'Signature Cocktails' are a must try. He even educates one well about the various processes that are involved in making the beer there. You can enjoy the warm hospitality of Pintu, Rahul & the gang...while the Hostess- Ms. Piu helps u to be seated and served efficiently. Seating arrangements are of a wide variety...so irrespective of whether you go there alone, as a couple or a rambunctious group...you shall always find comfortable seating, in this large establishment. Food is also delish and is a mix of Continental and Indian (Kolkata-oriented) cuisine. Rates of food and drinks are pretty reasonable. No place to dance and music there can be improved. But the aforementioned 'positives' in atmosphere, drinks, food & nice staff more than makes up for these minor hiccups. Definetly a nice place to let ur hair down ! 😊👍

I visited in November, 2020. It did not have all the varieties of beers, but the German one is definitely a good one. I must say their starters really taste nice, which is even better than some of nearby sec-5 restaurants. And the prices are also reasonable. We tried fish tandoori, which is great as well as chicken starters are also awesome. I will give 5/5 with ambience, drink, food all together.

The food here is exceptionally good. Hakka noodles is the best I have ever had. Roasted papad is complimentary. In house crafted beers are good too though the place lack flavoured craft beer. Highly recommend this in Newtown around DLF.

Such a great ambience. Love the non-fussed, relaxed atmosphere. The music is good, the beer is great. The chef is very approachable and great with suggestions. The staff are efficient and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Visited this Brewery recently. It is very difficult to locate and securities of the building doesn't cooperate about Parking. The ambience is good for small groups. For large groups, there is only once space which seems average. Food quality is very good with good quantity as well, perfect for 2 people for most of the Dishes. We did tried their Beer, but got very disappointed. We expected better. It were not strong and alcohol % is lower than usual Brewery. Overall, it wasn't great. I personally not visit here for alcohol. Great hospitality and servicing.

I loved this place. A five star for food, service and ambience. From the cocktails, mocktails and crafted beer; to the appetizers and main course dishes, everything was a gastronomical feast. Proportions were so generous that by the time we finished our main course, there was no place left in our tummy to try out the desserts.

Best option available in new town for Dinning and booze. Not very overpriced. Surely food tastes better than Mahak e Punjab and Calcutta Bistro Cafe. Service is ok. Food taste and variety - 5 star. This is a microbrewery (Makes their own beer). Hookah is available too. Ambience is good - Music is not too loud like Pub, so you would enjoy conversations with friends or colleagues. They have there own micro brewery and for that reason they offer different kinds, flavors of beer which you won't get at any bar. Good food but quantity is less compatible to the price. Do visit....

One of my favourite places in Newtown. I highly recommend this place to my friends. Excellent atmosphere... Best Barbeque Chicken Wings in the area. Also a nice variety of continental and Asian cuisine is available here. Big thumbs up for the mocktails specially Orange virgin mojito my favourite. The craft beer is also good. Nice taste.

Food is good and tasty, but the ambient is not good. The light is not sufficient and its dark esp towards the end of the room. There are some issue with cleaniliness, but the staffs are polite and friendly.

The 'Beligian Blonde' Beer was pretty good. Even the chicken wings was good too . But there was not much social distancing observed throughout the brewery. Unfortunately, in this new normal phase it becomes quite important to do so.

Strictly average. Not bad, not great. Ambience is all right. The lighting is bad. Food and drinks are okay-ish. Nothing to complain about the taste or quantity but nothing that you'll remember either. The staff are a little unhelpful and impolite. Not the best behavior. The Happy Hours deals are terrible. And the waiters do their best to prevent you from saving money. If you are planning to pay through Zomato, make sure you inform them at the outset. Otherwise, they will raise mayhem about it later. Something is definitely missing.

The ambiance was decent. Staff behaviour was decent although they dont listen to you clearly and have either placed wrong order or forgot to place it sometimes. The food was tasty and fresh. Zomato pro 25% off still applies.

Nice beer & affordable food...

I would like to appreciate the taste,menu and the price. Only thing that they lack is table service. The crew is not even trained to offer water before u place order. Whenever some one is alloted a table, service men should attend and ask for water,may be it regular or mineral. Except that all other things are above average.

Courteous staff. Excellent service. Delicious food coupled with an ambience of comfort. 10/10 would recommend to unwind after a tiring week. Shoutout to Mr. Goutam for the warm welcome.

Met with my close friend after a long time so we decided to head to this place specially for their craft beer. We tried their Belgian and Scottish ale and it was amazingly smooth and full of flavours. Their fish starters also are excellent. We didnt like the prawns and they were courteous enough to replace it with a different one without extra charge. Ambience was also quite good. Will definitely go again on my next visit to Kolkata as we created some really good memories at this place

Good draught beer and good food. One of my best finds in New Town. They have a micro brewery which produces some delicious and smooth beer. Had to try all of them on my visit yesterday. Ambience is also pretty good. Lively place. Had beer batter fried bhetki and a garlic prawn appetizer to go with the beer. Both were tasty and came in good portions. Overall a very nice place. Perfect for hanging out with friends because of the beer, good food and ambience 🍻
