Its a only fish restaurant situated inside the nolbon complex. Food taste and presentation is good. We had fish fry, fish rice, fish chowmein and Chilli fish in our order list. All item were good in taste and quantity. Staffs are well mannered and helpful. Presentation is good. People may enjoy some quality time beside the lake during normal period.

A good place for homely bengali cuisine in a very pocket friendly range. Their menu totally justifies their name. There fish biriyani is quite famous. The two fish gravies that we had were good though not very tasty. Dishes had a homely taste rather than a restaurant type (totally as per me... Others may have a different view as per their taste pallet).

We took basa fish fry and fish finger as starters, which were good. My parents had the fish thali and bhetki kalia and basa paturi. The paturi had neither salt nor chillies inside. And I ordered prawn fried rice which was decent and hot garlic fish which was utter disappointment. The gravy had corriander and jeera with the sauces. The fish was fresh though.

We ordered 3 fish dishes. Fishes were fried on the previous day, or even earlier. Gravy were also prepared. After our order they boiled the fried fish pieces into the gravy and served. Horrible dish to eat. Would not go there again!

Awesome experience. Best and go to place for bengali fish lovers as I am. Govt authorised so price cheaper than other bengali restaurants. Quality of food: Potoler dorma was the best, amaer catni and misti doi was good, macher matha dea dal and muri ghonto was too good, Doi katla could be better. Quantity of food: 1plate each is enough per person. Pocket- friendly: YES it is. Ambience: Capacity approx 50 person at a time. A/C. Big Aquarium contains Cat fish. Staff: Well dressed and behaved. Will visit again soon.

Good food and Good behaviour from the resturant staffs. And make sure don't step into the park while dining as they will charge you ₹30 per person.. Car Parking 10 rs /hr.

Foods are good... catering type... but not awsome...There's rush on Friday Saturday and Sunday lunch hour. Restaurant are not able to handle the crowd...lots of table keep unattended long time. No effective supervision is there to manage the service by any manager. Staffs looks confused in these days... there should be effective management to run it successfully.

Good Quality food at a reasonable price. It's too good for children as they have a garden. Recommended for family dining

The price is subsidised by the state govt. doesn't mean u subsidise on taste & services too lol. Pretty passable unless you are looking for fairly simple and inexpensive place to have Bengali cuisine centering around fish (which is pretty rare to get in Kol, hence it got so many stars from me for the concept).

A good restaurant in heart of Sector 5. It serves good quality Bengali & Chinese style cuisines. Quality and tastes are good. Restaurant staffs are well behaved. Their service are good. Restaurant ambience and decor is nice. This restaurant is located in a prime spot with excellent connectivity by public or private transport. It's open from late morning to late in the evening.

Good food, specially fish included dishes. Limited chicken dish also available. Menu is good but availability limited. Should look for the pen mark besides the menu items which are available. Quality of food is very good and homely. Try Fish Chowmein which is a little different than the rest. Very much affordable price. Around Rs 350 to Rs 400 for a couple.

Awesome destination for fish lovers. The quality of the dishes are so good. The size of vetki and other fishes are pretty good. Do visit during day time to get varieties of fish dishes . You may have a complaint about services and atmosphere.

Really good tasty food with reasonable pricing. Only downside is, this joint is not maintained properly, so you won't get all the items in the menu available. If they can fix it, it's an amazing place to have fish fry and a cup of tea.

All sort of fish related bengali dishes are available. Dishes are really tasty enough at cheap rate is obviously a big deal for all classes of people. Not sure about the take aways, but no body will leave unsatisfied as they have many items to offer. Kudos to the ladies who run this business, they could be inspirable for others. Their behaviour is really polite, the decor is not that great but they maintain a good hygiene. You can pay out through any medium you want.

The food Was affordable and tasty. The Atmosphere of the restaurant was serene. But because of rush hour, my order came a little late. Still it was a nice experience.

According to the price quality of the food is okay. We ordered fish fry ( Basa) & Mixed Chowmein. Fish Fry was overcooked & very sticky. Fish was not fresh. But 64 rs price is okay inside AC restaurant. Mixed Chowmein was little bit more salty. Small amount of fish chunk were present & those are fry with ararot coating.

If you love Bengali cuisine this is the place for you. This place serves a variety of fishes in starters and main course. Do check out Doi Katla, fish batter fry, fish finger, dal with fish head, paturi along with regular rice. The chilli prawn is extremely spicy. The also serve chutney as a complimentary dessert. This place is very pocket friendly.
