Good place for couples, they do there works after the sunset??. You will find couples behind the tree doing there work after the sunset, not only behind the tree but all over the park after the sunset, don't go with your family. if you are single then don't go alone, otherwise you will feel depressed after watching all those romantic scenes?, go with your friends and groups and then enjoy the fullest ??. Pro advice:- Don't look behind the trees. Maybe you will destroy someones moments of love?

Such a beautiful park beside the river Ganga in kolkata is not well maintained. Rest rooms are too dirty with no provision of water. The biggest concern is dog menace which is a safety concern for the visitors. Security guards are not performing their duties properly, busy with their mobile phone. Overall a nice park from a point of view which could have been maintained better for visitors.

A good ambience just at the banks of Hooghly! You can spend a quality time here, entry fee is ₹12 There are different ferry services available from here, through which you can spend your time on the river! The place is well maintained and you would get some food counters inside as well. The washrooms are also clean. There is a lot of space inside so you can walk there for a while by enjoying the breeze coming from Hooghly river.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Lot of seating and walking area is available. You can sit and enjoy the view of Ganges from there. You can even take the heritage boat tour across the Ganges. It’s a good place for picnics and hanging out with kids. The place is well lit in the evenings as well.

The cruise ride was pretty awesome.. I was there on the cruise in a group of 100 people. We had a gala time on the cruise. The day we chose was not very windy so the humidity was pretty bad but it was very beautiful to stand on the deck and enjoy the ride. The dinner that was booked arrangements was very nice but the taste still have areas of improvements.

Currently the park is closed, but you can enjoy the Kolkata Heritage River Cruise from here. Ticket price Rs. 169/- per head. One and half hours soothing journey through the river. Nice experience, but very loud orchestra may spoil your mood. If you want calm environment don't go upstairs. Enjoy sunset on Ganges (4pm ride). If you want night view take 6pm ride. Enjoy 2nd Hooghly bridge, lighten up Howrah Bridge, many ghats and mesmerizing view of Howrah station. You will get chips and cold drinks but not tea or coffee available here.

The park is located on Strand Road in the BBD Bagh area of Kolkata, near the General Post Office and the Calcutta High Court. The park lies on Hooghly’s eastern shore. Boats, steamers and launches floating on the Hooghly River from the park look incredibly beautiful. From this place you can see Howrah Bridge on the right and the second Hooghly Bridge on the left. Towards evening which looks impossibly beautiful. Being on the banks of the river Hooghly, the weather is captivating. The park is full of different species of trees. There are different types of rides for young and old for entertainment. Howrah - Shipping (via Launch) Via bus From Howrah/Dharmatala (stopage Millennium park) Entry fee- Rs 10/person Timing- 10 a.m - 6.30 p.m (Everyday)

This park has a great view , situated in the middle of howrah bridge and kolkata bridge , so one can enjoy the view of these two bridges at the same time. Most importantly you can not miss the sunset view here , it's a mesmerizing experience. you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with your partner or family and watch the view of sun is slowly going down over the beautiful Ganges river.

A beautiful location with such a great, both natural and artificial ambience and scenic view of the majestic Rabindra Setu, or popularly know as Howrah Bridge, on the bank of Hooghly river. It is located just opposite to the Metcalfe hall, near B.B.D Bagh. It costs ₹12 per head. You can also enjoy various amusement rides inside the park, which costs seperately and differently per ride. No restrictions over outside food. Seperate food stall is also available for your comfort. This park is comfortable for all age groups. A great place for couples, friends and colleagues to hang out. This park can be accessed for whole year. Winter is the best time although. Summer can be rough if all seats under shades are covered 😅. Still in summer times, it is less packed. A must visiting destination for everyone to enjoy the scenic beauty of this fabulous place. ❤️

The park is now one of the most popular picnic spots in the city .. The park is very centrally located and easily accessible from any part of the city 🙂 And the best view of the Howrah Bridge while sitting on the benches of the park is the real deal 😇❤️ The park is open from 10.00 a.m to 6.30 p.m on all days of the week And Entry fee is Rs. 10 per head Price for boat rides vary between Rs. 300 to Rs. 400, depending on the quality of the boat. The better it is, the costlier it is ❤️

Nice place at the side of the river ganges with lot of trees and a beautiful view of the river. One can take a walk by the paved roads inside of the park. But one thing need to be mentioned also that this place may not be an ideal one for family outings, because one can find couples giggling and kissing here and there. If one don't have problems with that then that's cool. Go there, enjoy and mind your own business.

Millennium park has not been maintained sice years. This used to be our first go-to family spot every now and then but now one cannot but just pity at its condition. The rides are broken, all food stalls are closed, street dogs roam around in the park freely and the trees and grass is overgrown. But still a good place for those who want to sit by at a quiet place and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ganges.

Myriads of emotions are attached with the Ganges and this, being right by the same, is a place for people of any age group to hop into. You get amusing rides for fun, cruise or launch rides, a quiet place to seek solace or spend some quality time with your loved one, healthy or lip smacking food, and so much more, altogether. The Kolkata Heritage River Cruise is definitely a fascinating initiative taken by the government of late, to ensure more than an hour of cruising at the Ganges, seeing the emblematic Howrah n Hoogly bridge, and so many ghats along with background music and a voice to guide you, and all of this for just Rs. 39/- only! Just give it a go ASAP 😇

Millennium Park is a free public park located on the banks of the Ganges River in Kolkata. It is a good place to visit on weekends, even though the park is not well-maintained. The park offers stunning views of the river and is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Here are some of the pros and cons of Millennium Park: Pros: Free to visit Stunning views of the Ganges River Good place to relax and enjoy the outdoors Family-friendly Cons: Not well-maintained Can be crowded on weekends Some rides and attractions may be closed Overall, Millennium Park is a decent place to visit if you are looking for a free and relaxing way to spend a day in Kolkata. However, it is important to be aware of the park's shortcomings before you go.

Along with, Howrah Railways station opposite side of Hoogly river. Therefore, this area is more popular than another park in Kolkata. Due to covid restrictions, most of the activities are closed here. However, I enjoyed up and down cruise just for 12 rs, which was a nice expérience. Entire beauty of the bridge with its lights is at the night(mostly after 6.00 pm or a bit earlier). I recommend the bridge view from the cruise because it's a refreshing experience with the breeze of Ganges(Hoogly river) and crowd on the Howrah bridge.

This is one of the famous and old park amongst all park in Kolkata beside of ganga river... When I was child my parents used to take me in this park once a while.. Still the park is same.. Then the entry ticket was 10/- and now they increased only 2 rupees.. This park has some rides like frog jump, slides, alot more.. And also have stalls for food water.. For me best time to visit this place is afternoon.. In summers evening u can enjoy the chill breeze...

Great place to visit. A place where people visits every season. Nice view of Howrah Bridge and Second Hoogly Bridge from this place. Good place for photography and videography. I wanted to visit this place since a long time back . But, I recently visited and saw that the maintenance was not very good. Mosquitos were everywhere. During the monsoon, people need to stay away from these places to stay safe from dengue.

Millennium Park is located on the Huguli River's eastern bank. It is close to the BBD Bagh bus stop. It is only 1.5 kilometres from Howrah Bridge. It is possible to stroll down from Howrah Bridge to this location. You can also get here via ferry (boats/cruise) from Howrah. Boat fair is extremely inexpensive (rs 10). Millennium Park is divided into two sections that extend to opposite sides, north and south. The park comes to an end on the south side at Babu ghat. The main feature of Millennium Park is the view of the Huguli River (which, of course, can be seen from other locations). A ferry ghat is also located near The Park. Large boats transport passengers to and from Howrah. As I already stated, the fair is quite low, less than Rs 10. However, the ferry ghat is located outside of Millennium Park. You do not need to purchase a Millennium Park ticket to visit the ferry ghat. The park's trees and plants aren't that great. There are few benches for sitting. The riverbank is enhanced by elegant fence and a series of light posts. The Howrah Bridge may be seen from everywhere in the park.

Millennium park is one of the beauty park of Kolkata beside the river... Mostly it's is a river side park.. The view of the river is awesome from the the park.. It is a children park.. Atmosphere is very nice and calm.. You can spent very memorable time with your partner.. In the entry of the gate there is a booking counter of cruise.. Where you book ticket for cruise riding.. And enjoy your day..

It is situated near the Ganges. It's always very exciting to visit park which is near a river or lake. Specifically during evening time when the park is sparkling with the flooded lights near the Ganges and lots of amusement is there to enjoy with and the visual of Howrah Bridge with dazzling lights in the evening adds more flavor to it.

Our three year old had a great time at Adventure City of Kolkata. It was his first amusement park experience as we're holding off on the big parks until we know our kid can enjoy more of it. He was able to go on every single ride. The lines we're not particularly long. The park, although fairly small was well maintained and clean. our son couldn't have been happier! Definitely worth bringing your very little ones to.

Central position in kolkata, 10 min from Esplanade/dharmatala, Low ticket price ₹.10, park is divided into two parts, This park like a pavement but fresh air from hoogly rever influence you, Couple friendly, Children rides also present, Fastfood stalls present, Full view of Howrah Bridge with lightening 2nd bridge you can see from here, most interesting. Ecstasy love in moonlight soo amazing. People spend here 2-3 hrs.

Is good for a short hang out. If you are going here at the evening it will be an icing on the cake where you can enjoy the beautiful lightnings show of the iconic Howrah bridge. And can you imagine it costs only rs 10 but it's suggested not to buy any food stuffs from inside or the outskirts of the park as the price is bit higher than usual.

This park has three divisions. The first one and the second one has rides like bumping car, Ferris wheel, Disco cars, frog ride for kids, and a few others for mild fun. The view of river ganga along with Howrah bridge, Howrah railway station and Vidyasagar setu is breathtaking. The third part is for walks only. It is clean and beautifully designed. It's usually crowded on Sundays and is excellent for morning walks. I personally find the third part very peaceful and during winter, I love sitting there for 3-4 hours reading a book on week days as the fresh air elevates your mood. Obviously you'll find a lot of couples behind and near the bushes and benches. The cruise and boat tickets are available at the counter situated between the first and second part.

It's a long park beside our beloved Ganga river. There are 2 part of this park. One is free and another needs ticket to enter. This is quite similar as the babughat-princep ghat park, but here the park is more open having big space to walk comparatively. It's a great place to enjoy the cool, calm and sweet Ganga which refreshes our mind from the monotonous urban life and that is also very inexpensive. The last feature attracts many students from school and colleges to spend some quality time with their friends as well as save their pockets :)

The park consists of landscaped gardens and children's amusement rides. One can enjoy the sight of the famous Howrah bridge by sitting on the benches in the park. All over it's a nice spot to spend the evening chatting with companions while enjoying the cool breeze of the Ganga river flowing beside it.

  • 3/5 Vikas S. 2 years ago on Google
Easily accessible if coming from Howrah through jetty service. Get down at Fairly jetty and spend 1 to 2 hours with your family with the soothing evening breeze of Hoogly river, few rides and few eateries. If you are lucky you can get the Kolkata heritage boat ride for Rs39 only whose ticket sale starts at 4pm and gets sold out in few minutes. The boat ride is from 6pm to 7.30pm. Entry ticket for millennium park is Rs12 only. Note for parents- Boys and girls kissing, hugging is common here, so if don't want your kid to see these avoid millennium park.

Millennium Park is a popular public park located along the banks of the Hooghly River in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The park was built to commemorate the arrival of the new millennium and was opened to the public in 2000. The park is known for its beautiful landscaping, including fountains, gardens, and a large open space for picnics and outdoor activities. One of the main attractions of the park is the giant statue of Mother Teresa, which stands tall at the entrance of the park. The statue is made of bronze and is a tribute to the great humanitarian who dedicated her life to serving the poor and sick. Visitors can also enjoy boat rides on the river and take in views of the iconic Howrah Bridge, which is located nearby. The park is a popular destination for both locals and tourists and is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. In summary, while I can't personally share my own experience at Millennium Park in Kolkata, I can say that it is a beautiful and popular public park that offers a range of activities and attractions for visitors to enjoy.

Very good place. Here you can feel Very positive energy. Very nice environment. Here you can get many things like food, board rides , etc. Please visit and enjoy your day.

  • 3/5 Sharmistha J. 10 months ago on Google
This is a good place to visit,Although my experience at Millennium Park was largely positive, it would be remiss not to mention that during peak hours, the park can become crowded, particularly on weekends and holidays. However, this is a testament to its popularity and the fact that it remains a favored destination for both locals and tourists. In conclusion, Millennium Park is a serene retreat located alongside the Hooghly River, conveniently near B.B.D Bag and Bara Bazar. Its beautiful landscape, recreational facilities, and iconic Millennium Gate make it a must-visit destination for those seeking tranquility amidst the vibrant city of Kolkata. Despite occasional crowding, the park's overall charm and its ability to provide a peaceful escape make it an excellent choice for a day out with family or friends.

Ganga arati is done near this place (5pm -7 pm) every day and Prasad is given on every Saturday evening. This is a good tourist spot and can give us a good glance of howrah bridge and ganga river ferries riding in it

  • 5/5 Dario A. 8 months ago on Google
I loved this park! It’s admittedly not large but it has a lovely tropical/modern vibe - with its tropical trees hanging over the artificial pool - you can see both old Calcutta and new kolkata imposing over the park in the background - definitely quite impressive and tranquil. The area is also lovely, packed as it is with wonderful period architecture - ranging all sort of styles but mostly late century European - beautiful, majestic buildings now laying a bit abandoned or requiring maintenance a little bit like Kolkata itself, it’s hard to not romanticise them to be honest as they lay there a bit decrepit and overtaken by such splendid tropical overgrowth but still quite imposing and somehow titanic that in a way you can clearly see what a wonderful spectacle it must’ve been on their glory days. And somehow, because they’re still standing, you wish and expect that those glory days will be back and Kolkata in all its glorious splendour will rise again - but I’m a bit going overboard now. Enjoy your walk in this wonderful city park.

It's a ok ok place . See if you got a partner then it will be fun for you . As me being a single launda, I only go for my photoshoots anywhere. But if you are alone then I suggest you to meet someone then come here for a good experience. If you have not any insecurities then kudos to u (I m truly jealous of u 😅) you can enjoy the breeze , the colourful boats at Eve and it is free of cost . You can take a ferry from here and snap some good shots of Howrah bridge and that other cable bridge (whatever its name ) . You can try the Kolkata heritage cruise as well, it is good too (169₹) . Overall nothing great about it but it can't be that bad . It's ok 😊
