I recently visited the Aminia restaurant near Tollygunj with my family. We had ordered three plates of chicken biriyani. The food was delivered timely and service was good. The biriyani tasted really delicious and quantity was enough for three people. Later we also ordered soft drinks and chocolate mousse for dessert. The chocolate mousse was so yummy. So overall, I loved the food and was impressed with the ambience . Therefore I would highly recommend this restaurant for family dinner & outings.

Today we Ladies group about 11 pax visited for Lunch, served v worst Biriani and also cold. Bill no. 251659, dt.19/12/23. After request to serve hot one they told not possible and it happen due to AC. All food not upto the mark. V bad experience. No one will visit again. Thanks

Went to this place on Ashtami afternoon. It was comparatively less crowded than other restaurants in that area. So, we didn't have to wait to get our table. We ordered the following things at Aminia, Tollygunge: - Chicken Malai Kebab - Lachchha Paratha - Chicken Handi Kebab - Phirni The chicken malai kebabs were okayish. They weren't exactly melt-in-your-mouth soft, but tasted decent. I would have liked them better if they were softer and juicier. The lachchha parathas were flaky and slightly crunchy, but they had too much oil. They should consider using less oil. The handi kebab was kinda average. It was also quite oily. The amount they served was good enough for two people. However, I feel the quality of this dish has gone down a bit since the last time I visited this place. The phirni was, probably, the nicest dish of the afternoon. It was just the right amount of sweet. I understand that the quality of the food goes down during pujo in most restaurants in the city. Having said that, we need to consider the experience as well.

Aminia Tollygunge is very good. Located near Malancha cinema hall this outlet serves very authentic taste of Biriyani and Kababs like other Aminia outlets. The pocket pinch is moderate. The dine in location is at first floor and it's not at wheelchair accessible. They also have a takeaway which is at ground floor. The items you must try are Chicken Reshmi Kabab, Chicken Malai Kabab and of course Biriyani.

The food quality is not upto the mark. I tried mutton biryani but other outlets taste way better than this

Aminia and kolkata has a special bonding since the year 1929. This outlet in tollygaunge is newly opened with a huge spacious place for gatherings with friends , families or office colleagues. They serve a whole plate of biryani with a big sized aloo and a good piece of chicken/ mutton. The staffs are very friendly.

Excellent serving and most delicious yet less oily Biriyani from Aminia. Chicken chaap was very delicious, probably the best. Firni was good too. Kababs were also so soft and tasty.

It's a nice restaurant to spend time with family and it has a nice ambience. The servers are very helpful. We had ordered butter nun, afgani chicken masala , mixed fried rice, afgani mutton. They have introduced a cocktail menu recently. We have tried blue lagoon and let me tell you it was nothing to write home about as it was very basic. The food tasted really good though. Especially the naans. The price is reasonable and so is the quantity. My UPI had some malfunction and I accidentally paid twice but when I called them after reaching home they told me to collect the extra money whenever I can. In this aspect they were very helpful. I recommend this establishment if you are looking for a family friendly restaurant in N.S.C bose road area. The only downside is that you have to climb some steep stairs as it is located on the first floor and the stairs can be a bit hazardous for people with knee pain or back pain if not careful. Overall 4.5/5

Tasty but the attendants at the place didn't have basic manners also some dish like the handi chicken wasn't at all fresh. The variety is limited. Mix veg was good . Ac not working properly.

Place is good. Food quality is good but quantity is not . I mainly prefer biriyani from that shop. The taste of veg fried rice is just fabulous ❤.

Too bad experience. Biryani was made with broken rice!mutton was not fresh.very salty. Mutton handi kabab was too salty to eat.They eventually made our sunday worst. Mutton pieces of biryani was about 50 grams .quantity was also less than usual. My recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.

On NSC Bose road., most oldest Restrurent among the others,Besicaly Mughal, chainese are best in the menu card. Take away,home delivery also available with tie up with web apps. Atmosphere is very good and the behavior of staff is polite.overall a good experience.

This place was clean and they all wore mask.They gave well service.They maintained social distancing.They marked the position where the people should stand and the people also obeyed the rules.

Very poor resturent. Visited after many years yesterday and found service and taste of food got poor. Service boys even don't tell which dish will match with which one. E g. Chicken rejala we ordered with Biriyani. But Chicken rejala is absolutely different from other places and it's not suitable with Biriyani, and they the water should tell the customer. And taste of Chicken special byriani is yaak....huge blood stain inside the chicken chaap.

The quality was good. Biryani wasn't too oily and dry either, it was well balanced. Mutton was well cooked. The restaurant was clean and the ambience was good.

This Aminia near Malancha cinema hall is very much famous for their biriyani and other items. Its a favorite place for dine out with your family and friends. The biriyani and chap, rezala , roti , nans are mouth watering and finger licking . You can also take out or order for home delivery.

To be Frank , wastage of money interms of biryani i thought it's a famous dish here but after eating I realise that it was waste of money..it was like I am eating rice only and the chicken was not cooked well.. so recommend u all not to eat biryani there..

Aminia is pretty famous for its multi genre food options at all of its outlets. We've visited the tollygaunge outlet and we got served with our dinner. Food consumed : Mutton Special Biryani (1 plate) Crispy chicken (1 plate) For price : please check the menu Pros : ~ Very quick delivery of orders. ~ Biryani was too tasty (I love non spicy biryani) ~ 1 plate of biryani was even more for 2 of us. We only could finish it as it was less spicy. ~ crispy chicken was delicious and chatpata too ~ Clean restaurant. ~ No bad behaviour from staffs. Cons: ~ Ambiance was really good, if not pitch perfect. ~ Biryani could have been a little more warm or hot.

Their rolls are really good. Have ordered mutton egg rolls from here a few times. Generous amount of meat, well marinated and flavourful.

One of the best Biriyani hopping places at. They are maintaining good quality in food & their service also. They are also offering takeaway facilities here. Car parking is a little issue here. This restaurant doesn't have parking. Cash, card and app based payment accept here.

Today ordered in the restaurant for parcel special mutton biryani. The condition of biriyani was too bad. No flavour was present in it. Seemed like having colourful rice . Mutton was too bad in taste. Worst experience. Will never suggest Aminia to anyone for biriyani atleast.

Went here to celebrate the birthday of a friends younger sister. There is almost no decor. Remember the Biryani was on point. But considering we were in college and we had been invited to a little girls birthday party the situation was weird af.

Ordered chicken chap.. Cost 250/- per plate.. A small piece of chicken with universal gravy.. Probably they forgot how chaap should taste.. Deterioting quality day by day, never going to buy food from them.

Visited this place during Ma Durga Puja, so it was quite busy, service was good but found a big piece of chicken feather in our biryani, please rectify just so that it does'nt happen again

I have visited so many restaurant. But it was the worst worst worst😂. If any customer enters into the hotel suddenly all the member become mad, they run here and there 😂😂😂.only For showing off that they care about customers 😂 lol.Food is pathetic, charge's are so high,.. Dont waste your time money,... Not recommended to visit there at all.

Aminia is situated on N.S.C. Bose Road, Tollygunge, Regent Park, beside closed Malancha Cinema Hall. The place remains a bit crowded at times. Dine-In is not available right now. Only Delivery and Takeaway is available. Delivery within 4 kms and an order of Rs 499/- and above provides a Free Delivery. On Father's Day I ordered - 1 plate Spcl Mutton Biryani. 1 plate Mutton Biryani. 1 plate Chicken Reshmi Kabab. The plates tasted good but not the best. The biryani was well prepared so were the Mutton. The Mutton pieces were big and aloo and egg were also provided. They have reopened amidst this situation maintaining the best safety precautions. Swiggy and Zomato delivers from this place. Stay Safe, Stay Home.

Absolutely worst quality. Purely westage of Money. They charged for Rs 705 two plate Mutton Biriyani. But there were no flavoured no teste. Simply westage of Money.

The old taste of Aminia has gone. The new, more commercialized and more pricey with poor taste. The waiting time has increased and the hygiene and sanitation of the cooks/workers has decreased to a large extent. Eat at your own risk, as we the Indians can digest anything.

I visited today only for having lunch. The food was quite good with sufficient quantity, but the ambience can be better.

Tollygunge unit of Aminia is very near to all of us not only to my house. It is actually a signature food joint of out City of joy KOLKATA.

Good place for BIRYANI

Ordered butter Naan and A Dal makhani with Chicken Butter Masala. The Food was nice, but the Butter Masala was a Little too sweet. Naan was of adequate size. Overall, the food is worth Trying. It's not heavy on stomach. Recommended.
