The tour guide is so nice. Thank you for touring. We enjoyed a lot. I never had such a nice tour before.

A very beautiful park, not too far from the river. There are many buildings on the site, each owning their own uniqueness that paints a history filled picture. An outdoor electric train setup with a few different small tracks. A small chapel, veterans museum, models of former president's homes. The 40 corner 40 wall blacksmith shop. A garden for weddings, photo ops or just to look at. An interesting Basilica. All in all too much to mention in a short review.

Nice park and very well maintained! We went here and just walked around, went through the beautiful garden, and had a nice stroll. There's not much to do other than admiring the beauty and just relaxing. But, beautiful place overall, and free to visit!

It was very nice and well kept. Large grassy area for baseball or soccer. Big playground for kids. I found the buildings interesting although couldn’t go inside any of them. I really LOVED the rose garden and the cemetery next door.

Beautiful grounds with some interesting history. A bit annoyed with the inconvenience and discrepancy of openings of certain buildings. Checked the website and it stated it was open on Sundays for tours. Upon arrival, half of the buildings were locked and closed off to the public. A volunteer stated certain buildings were now open according to the summer schedule on Saturday NOT Sunday (June to later date), which ISNT posted online. I had hopes of viewing the WHOLE grounds, but weren’t afforded to do so due to this discrepancy of hours of operation.

Fun! This is a lovely and quirky little park. I highly recommend for families with young children. But it is a fun diversion for anyone. There are picnic facilities and a good sized playground. The buildings were closed during our visit but there was a porta potty near the playground.

It's nice and quiet and has a wonderful rose garden. The rebuilt dwellings on the property make for some good photo opportunities as well.

We were here for a private function. The park is great. Well kept and a wonderful playground for the kids. Lots of seating in the pavilion too. Parking is a little tough if there are lots of people expected, so get there early if you're expecting a large crowd. They also have a toll booth on display from the Merritt Parkway. This was a memory from my childhood! All in all, a very nice park.

A quiet contemplative space in Stratford. Well maintained property with pieces of history worth exploring. A lovely rose garden, veterans building, a toll booth when actual users paid to traverse the Parkway, a RR building and Dutch farm structures. Great place to picnic or just enjoy nature.

Boothe memorial Park is a spectacular place to go to. You can bring your dogs to walk there, there's so many different types of gardens. And so many things to see it's one of the oldest parks in.

Thank you, Mr. Frank, for sharing a history lesson about this charming town and the connection to the Boothe brothers.

This underutilized park is a gem. Consisting of several buildings it has some open for tour including the turn of the century homestead which contains all the furnishings of the last surviving Boothe brothers. The quirky brothers also built a church with a clock tower, and an amazing Lincoln log looking building all done in 4x6" western redwood. This houses a extensive mineral collection. The volunteer staff is excellent and explains the history of the family. One barn has an extensive collection of farm equipment including a display of looms, spinning wheels and if your lucky you will find a weaver at work. There are also gardens and picnic areas.

This is a great open space park. Plenty of room to walk your leashed dog, go for a picnic, or set up a hammock to lounge between the trees. Playground with climbing wall for kids. Several free access covered picnic areas with tables and grills. Beautiful flower garden with a fountain and benches to sit. Plenty of parking available, restrooms near playground and parking lot. Small train museum and planetarium on-site -- check online for events.

Pretty! Make sure you don’t have to pee though. Bathrooms are closed many times I’m here.

I went to the pumpkin festival. It was a beautiful, mild, blue-sky day. There were tours of the buildings besides all the unique pumpkin carvings taking place by the pumpkin 'artists'. Many families with children attended.

This is a fascinating place to visit. It's like stepping back into a little slice of history. The volunteers are all so kind, enthusiast and full of interesting facts. Also it is a lovely park where children can run and play, with plenty of open space, beautiful landscaping and a well kept playground.

Not a huge park, but very historical. There is a field and some picnic areas, but the real interesting parts are all the old buildings. Some with old farming equipment, and older crafts like weaving wool and blacksmithing. There is a very old creepy clock tower that you can sometimes go inside that has a lot of artifacts. There is an old Manor on the property that is supposedly haunted. My favorite part is the beautiful rose garden in the center.
