An understated town with a great restaurant scene. The town is also home to the famous De La Warr Pavilion. Unfortunately, visiting the shops and restaurants is less inviting now as the council recently introduced parking charges right across the town and seafront.

Hello, my wife and I moved to Bexhill-on-sea in 2010,we thought it would be a great place to live, how wrong we are. Recent years we have noticed that the streets are full of litter, drains blocked, footpaths full of weeds, plus many obstacles sticking up on the footpaths, footpaths, plus roads full of potholes.

Great little town with shops and a beach, good places for a meal and gigs at the Delaware. Don't miss out it's a sunny wee gem in the holidays as it doesn't get overcrowded with holiday makers and cloud watchers. You can sail a boat too if you're so inclined.

Bexhill on sea, has an almost perfect image of a traditional southern uk sea side bucket and spade town. It’s unfortunate that the town and beaches which are of course it’s main tourist attractions and very let down. Raw, yes raw sewerage goes into the beach and sea area. The town streets in a lot of areas have trash and weeds growing on the pedestrian areas. The street furniture is rusting and in need of a paint. I don’t know what Bexhill-On-Sea town hall spends it’s collected cash on but it’s not in making the town look good or feel safe. Why perhaps would anyone visit it more than once, but perhaps they don’t want tourists?

horrible, hardly any supermarkets there’s only 2 and if you don’t have a car you have to walk an hour to get to them. hardly any zebra crossings for pedestrians. all the cafes are small businesses, only chain restaurant is costa and that doesn’t even count because it’s just coffee at gas stations
