We were walking around trying to find a place open and with actual seats available, when we found this place. What a discovery. The staff is friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is quite cosy and inviting. Food arrived quickly. I ordered the special of the day which was pork belly, and could literally eat a bucket of it. Dessert was nicely presented and very tasty as well. A very nice place, conveniently located steps from a tube station; serving great food.

We visited Cafe Koha Bar randomly and the reason was it was the only one of the few restaurants with available table on a Saturday night. The staff was friendly and attentive but just kind of slow. Their menu wasn't in a great variety but pretty decent. We got their Pan Roasted Duck Breast and Rib-Eye Steak with port sauce with a hint of truffle. The portion was good enough to share with two of us with reasonable price. The food was overall delicious, especially the steak, it was well-grilled, tender and perfect with the amazing truffle sauce. However, the duck breast could’ve been better, it was a little overcooked and tough to chew.

Food is quite good although I had a Spaghetti Carbonara which was a bit strange. Service is good and the Seating area outside is relaxed, especially good considering it's in the center of Leicester Square

Lovely small restaurant. Service was excellent, and the food was tasteful. The only thing is that you need to make reservations for a table at high hours, and it's pretty small, so if there are bigger groups, the noise can be a bit much.

Hidden gem close to Leicester Square station. Celebrated a birthday and the food and service were fantastic! Best starters Salmon sashimi and scallops ever! Then the tastiest Steak that was cooked to perfection. Dessert cheesecake with the freshest fruit. Great selection of wine and a complimentary lemon cello to celebrate the birthday girl. Definitely cannot wait to go back. Best start to an evening before the theatre or just for amazing food!

We visited this restaurant based on its high rating on Google. We had OX Cheek and Wild Sea-bass fillet for the main course and Cheesecake for dessert, along with red wine from Chile. Everything was excellent, but not quite enough to make me feel the need to return to this restaurant when I am in London again. What I would criticize is that the fish served could have been warmer, or at least the plate could have been heated. On the other hand, what I would praise is the good value for money.

Happened to stumble upon Cafe Koha on an early Monday afternoon with little to no crowd. We were immediately seated outside and Fidel was a delight to talk to as we ordered and watched the theater crews arrive. The boar sausage is juicy and creamy without being overbearing, with a matching sauce that completely won me over. My partner ordered the duck breast, which was cooked perfectly. And if they have time to recommend the house cheesecake, you better take up their offer. It is light and airy and creamy and wonderfully decorated with a variety of fruits. Everything is made in-house, the wait staff was super attentive and informative. Altogether an absolute joy to find this place. Looking forward to coming again on our next trip to the city!

Try the burger, you will not be disappointed!! One of the best burgers we have had in a long while. Lovely cocktails to die for. Aperol Spritz was the bomb.

Gorgeous food with lovely homey survives. Cafe Koha is the first restaurant I’ve visited in the UK 2 years ago, and it became one of my favorite and special to-go place. It’s a perfect place not only for enjoying seasonal cuisines, but also for casual drinks in a warm atmosphere with the best staffs ever. I highly recommend here when you drop by central London.

Great pre-theater or after-theater spot right between the stage doors of two West End theaters. Lovely menu with something for everyone, indoor or outdoor seating, and the manager Albi could not be a lovelier host. He really works to make sure you have a great experience. The outdoor tables have the charm of being between two stage doors; just be advised that theater workers and patrons north like to grab a smoke before the show out here, and there’s not much of a breeze, so it can be “smoky.”

Good location for grabbing some food after a show. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food was good, duck was unfortunately slightly overdone, burger was very good. However gents toilets were pretty grim with no working dryer and no towels to dry hands lets the place down.

Location is nice, interior is in process of being renovated Waiter has no knowledge of the menu sadly compensating it with confidence giving false information. My gnocchi dish was supposed to have wild mushrooms which turned out to be champignons. The wagyu beef portion seemed way less than announced and tasted unlike wagyu beef.

Super nice evening on the lazy Sunday night during our stay in London. The restaurant is exceptionally well positioned in a quiet little nook at the end of a quiet street in the incredibly busy theater district. We were recommended to come here by our flat host where we are staying. We came with two adults and two children ages 10 and 14. Being a lazy Sunday night, we definitely had plenty of attention on us, and we felt very well taken care of. The food was quite tastefully prepared and timely delivered. The presentation was pretty nice. I had the lamb shoulder, which was quite tender, and modestly seasoned. Flavor of the meat came through quite well. My wife had the prawn ravioli, which was quite good. And my daughter had the chicken. She did indicate the chicken was slightly dry. We had the ciabatta as a starter and that was quite good. We ended with the chocolate and hazelnut desert as well as the pomegranate cheesecake. The deserts were exceptional. I had additional old-fashioned, which was pretty heavy on bitters for my taste. And my wife had the Prosecco, which I think she enjoyed quite well. Our son is a picky eater and got fries, but they made him feel welcome anyways :) Regardless, it felt like a less touristy stop, and we definitely had great service and a wonderful time. I highly recommend to stop here if in the area. I imagine it could be a quite a bit more busy any other day of the week so I strongly recommend reservations.

What a find! We were looking for a restaurant close to St. Martin in the fields on our way to a concert and I'm glad we found this gem. Ordered the ox cheeks and I honestly can't imagine them being any better than the ones at Koha. Highly recommended ❤️

Have been coming here for years. I have never had a bad meal. Even when we have dashed in at silly o'clock before a theatre night, the friendly staff have always come up trumps with freshly cooked dishes in minutes. Always fresh high quality food. Friendly and well balanced service.

Very conveniently located right next to exit 1 at Leicester Square tube station. Tucked away in a lane way. Had a nice meal and friendly service. Enjoyed the lamb and duck plus desert.

What a lovely restaurant. The food was amazing, ( we all had fish and chips) best I've had ever. The staff were fabulous, we asked about the offer we had seen on the website, they said the website had changed, very sorry. Fair enough, but then offered us free drinks and produced a cheesecake for us to share. They chatted to us and talked about their plans for the restaurant. They should give training in customer service to other places I could mention but won't on this occasion. My friends and I don't get to London often so our experience at Koha made our day so much better. Thank you, we will be back .xxx

We did not have too much time and had no idea what type of food Koda serves. I think we were a bit too lucky! Gnocci and lamb we had was really good. Will go back for sure to taste rest of the menu!:)

Quite possibly the best food I've eaten. I had the scallops as a starter, the duck for my main and the pistachio cheesecake for my dessert. I was overjoyed with every mouthful, my only complaint is that it was so perfect that I ate it so quickly. If I had to pick holes in the food, the port sauce that came with the duck was maybe a touch too sweet but I'm just being difficult. The staff were incredibly welcoming and whoever cooked our food is an asset to their restaurant, a incredibly talented team all round. I honestly can't wait until I get the opportunity to eat their again, it was a pleasure.

What a brilliant restaurant and bar with excellent service and food. We we were a large group of ladies that visited KOHA on a Saturday evening for food and drinks and it is very busy but the level of service was never compromised. Everyone got greeted with a smile and everyone working there is so polite and accommodating and the food was delicious. Will defiantly be coming back .

I can't comment on the food as we never got to eat here. I made an online booking ten days before a theatre trip. Three hours before we were due to arrive got sent an email that it had been cancelled - no explanation. When I called was told they were fully booked and after querying how that could be since I'd had a booking for ten days they hung up on me. So now too late to get a seat anywhere in the West End. Time to make some sandwiches.

Excellent cuisine. The ambiance and location on the Brooklyn waterfront are stunning. It's pricey, so save it for a special occasion. But it's oh-so-delicious and romantic! Because I went for my anniversary, I also received a complimentary signature dessert!

This was the best food we had during our short business trip in London. We came from Singapore and were looking for a cosy spot serving British/European fare and were sooo lucky to have found Koha. The atmosphere of the place is super cosy and the service staff were impeccable on both occasions we dined there — yes the food was SO good that we had to go back for our last dinner (kudos to the chefs)!! Special shout-out to Shaq and Drill for the amazing service and for making us feel so at home. Thank you for making our trip amazing ❤️

What a wonderful gem to have in Leicester Square. Exquisite food with pleasant service. A true hidden diamond in town, thank you Koha!

Found this little gem by chance. 3 adults and a one year old child looking for lunch. The owner very kindly found us a table on what was an extremely busy day. The quality of the food and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. We shall certainly be revisiting this restaurant again.

I love it when you go somewhere and it just puts a smile on your face because of the ambiance, plus the food was lovely. Given where it’s situated the prices are very reasonable too. I even enjoyed the Christmas songs (and I normally hate Christmas songs!) because they were old school, Dean Martin etc. First time we’d been there, but hopefully not the last. Great

Delish! Baked octopus full of flavours and tucked just off the bustling street enough to hear the buzz of town without feeling overwhelmed by passers by. A real hidden gem with lovely friendly staff only too happy to make your experience enjoyable! Also has enough indoor space and a snug downstairs for more intimate evenings.

I went to Cafe Koha on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were a large group but this didn't seem to make any difference, the service was quick and the food was delicious with something to suit every appetite. The waiter was so attentive, took pictures for us and made sure we were all happy. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend
