Fairly traditional pub with a large beer garden and play area for the little once. Half a dozen or so lagers on offer, along with a welcome London Pride and Proper Job. Didn't have food, but concensus seems to be that it's good value for money. Not sure I will be returning as when leaving, a racist comment (I'm quarter Bengal so not even that dark!) was made to me by a group of 3 wasters who were drinkng outside. They are probably the local losers, but it was enough to put me off coming back again.

I don't get out much, so I'll confess to having been a little nervous at venturing into an unknown pub on my own in an area I barely knew - I came along to watch James Powlett sing and play guitar for the evening. I needn't have been worried. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. People I didn't know came over to chat with me throughout the evening and I didn't feel like the stranger in the corner for long. I would definitely recommend an evening here and I hope to visit again. Thanks to all for an enjoyable evening.

A decent pub, well frequented by locals. It has a good-sized car park, the cleanest toilets ever and a nice atmosphere. Can't comment on the food. Service was quick, but they only accept card payment for £5 and over.

Went for a family lunch - such a friendly welcome and great service. 2 mains for £15 lunchtime deal is great value. Good home cooked food - liver and bacon was excellent! BTW good beer selection too! 😉

It was only the second time we went to this pub. We live in Maidstone. It was Sunday evening and it was quiet, perfect for families. The kids enjoyed a couple of board games available on the shelves for anyone to play with. There was a table service which was a bit unusual but a nice surprise. The personnel were polite and welcoming. I had only a dessert which was ok but not great. I finished it so I can't complain 😂

Lovely atmosphere and whilst the food was quite tasty, it lacked something. My main was very beige looking, felt as if not a lot of effort had been made. I did like it, tho could have been better presented :)

This place is excellent. Great local den with excellent people working the bar. We didn't eat, but the food coming out of their kitchen looked absolutely wonderful. The Toad in the Hole looked bigger than the plate!

What a nice pub. Plenty of tables, lovely choice of food from sandwiches to cocktails and desserts. They have entertainment sometimes, there's a dartboard too. The staff are very welcoming, food arrived quickly despite there being around 12 of us. Beware the sandwiches though, the bread slices are very thick - luvly jubly!!
