The Pahari Store is the new face of Anil Candles, one of the oldest candle makers/ sellers in Nainital. The new boutique welcomes you with a pleasant whiff of Lavender mixed with the other fragrances of scented candles that are on the shop displays. The candles of Nainital are more ornate than simple usually. The Pahari store caters to both that style but also a more simply stylised set of design candles that can blend in multi environments depending your sense of taste or style, or the needs of your decor. They also have expanded their stock on other organic products from different NGOs from the Uttarakhand mountains such as Aarohi, Mahila Umang, Harela and more. Many of these are coorperatives that have developed multiple lines of products using locally sourced produce like Pickles, Jams, body lotions, conditioners, food items like grains and more. And the staff were also quite friendly and very helpful even though we walked in during just opening when they were still stock taking. We bought a bunch of candles, essential oils and potpourri. They also have some artefacts like Kumaoni Aipan and posters that we will definitely be going back to them to buy more off. Definitely a must shopping place for tourists and locals alike. And lovely staff.

An absolute treasure of a place. Placed so covertly that you could almost miss it but what a bounty it holds within. Tried a few Hemp bags, fragrances, honey etc. Some fantastic color combinations and good quality (some work can be done on the zippers of the bags). Spare an hour to immerse into the place. The staff is uber helpful and super patient. Would love to return again.

It is a nice place near to the Naini lake to buy souvenirs from Nainital. The shop has a lot of things to offer such as perfumes candles , small gifts for friends, authentic pulses, woollen clothes and a lot of other things. The aesthetic of the shop is very pleasing as well

Highly recommend you to get your hands on some one the best scented candles and other great items like handmade soaps and scrubs! The scented candle is a must buy, my personal favorite is river handpoured candles.

One of the best shops in town for all your gift essentials as well as for personal care shopping. When we were planning for our iternary, this place was automatically adding the list and was suggested as the best place to visit in Nainital. But since we didn't know how we may proceed onec reaching Nainital, we thought let's just skip it. But when we were returning back from the Naini Devi Temple, we spotted this place and based on our curiosity we went to check this place out. Let me tell you that's the best decision we made. Because the store is so beautifully maintained and the ambience of the store is just very good. Once we roamed around we kept getting interested in adding more items on the go as they are reasonable and very well priced. They are helping local artisans and pahadi people, as it's tied up with various local NGO's in promoting the products at good prices. And we absolutely loved it. We bought Wax perfumes, attars, some coffee products along with some essential healthy seeds. Since I am reviewing this place after a week, and having already used those products as well as gifted some. I can assure you they are of top quality. The smell of the wax as well as attars are so good and it lasts so long. Really loved the products and will surely reorder them through online if possible. We visited this store twice actually 🙃 The first day we had bought products for ourselves and based on the liking we visited again the next day to pick of some more items for gifting. Totally recommend to anyone visiting Nainital to atleast visit this place. The presentation of the products is very good here. Until next time🙌

If you are a fragrance lover, then must visit shop for Scented Candles. They have wide range of candles with amazing fragrance. Very pocket friendly. Almost half the price of price compared to metro cities. Staff is very polite and helps you to select the best. If you are tourist then it is a best souvenirs shop. They have many handmade things like shawls, skin care products etc. and lady at the counter (may be a Owner) is very Sweet. Highly recommended.
