Amazing donut shop in Wichita, Kansas. Super friendly staff. They didn't rush us. But if you love donut holes, this is the spot. 😉 Now, with everything they had going on. My heart is all about the apple fritters. Now I forgot to take a picture but trust and believe it didn't last 5 minutes when I got home. 😋 When you walk in the door, it's just a smell of pure pleasure. So don't be shy.

Nothing wrong with the taste or quality of the donuts they were very tasty, some of the best I’ve had to be honest but they better have been for the price! I paid $18+ for 6 donuts and a chocolate milk. Was just a bit surprised at the total. Would like to come back but just feel the price per donut is a bit on the high side.

1st time here , spent $40 , didn't care for any of the donuts, most were not sweet and very dry like old , flavorless.

So, I was told a Managers Special dozen was $26.39, and that is 6 specialty doughnuts & 6 regular doughnuts. As you can see from my pictures, I was charged for the Managers special, yet I wasn’t offered the 3 additional doughnuts I was paying for. I only got 5 specialty, and 4 regular. I called to let someone know, and no one has returned my call. The customer service is awful, because the person helping me, should’ve offered the 3 additional doughnuts. This rating may change if they return my call, and offer, but I’m not holding my breath. Also, these are the most expensive doughnuts ever, so be prepared to break the bank! That’s a lot for only 9 doughnuts. No one has called me, and do you see their reply? If they really cared about their customers, I would’ve been offered the 4 doughnuts, and someone would take the time to reach out. That’s the worse reply I’ve ever had to a review. The ones that care, offer to make it right.

Definitely in the top two donuts in Wichita. Our favorites are the maple long john and the old fashioned cake. A WARNING: Do not order on line for pickup! I tried it a day before and they did not have my order the next morning. AND! It costs around $4.00 more a dozen to order on line for pickup then just walking in and ordering. Makes no sense to me. When I brought this to their attention, especially since they didn’t have the order they made no effort to correct situation. So, donuts five stars, the experience two stars.

I usually don't make reviews but I've been going to Lamar's donuts since they opened with my children , And since I believe the ownership has changed things have went downhill big time. $13 and some change for a dozen donut holes and 2 donuts really! And they got my order wrong ,I mean come on 🤦‍♂️this place was dirty very unorganized and extremely under staffed. Made mention to the lady when she told me my price( the manager I believe). I said wow! she was yeah I don't set the price they went up. sorry! and that's all she said looks like I'm gonna be finding a new place to take my grandkids and children to have donuts Such a disappointment I really enjoyed this place.

I bought 1 1/2 dozen donuts today at West 21st Lamarrs. They were priced at $15 per dozen. But bill was $31, Same as for 2 dozen. They informed me that the 6 were not included in "special discount." $31 for 18 donuts! Ridiculous...I should have just taken 6 more but knew they'd go to waste. I won't go back

customer service was good. was kind of confusing at times, wanted to know if I wanted a dozen or half dozen donuts (which would of been a deal compared to just getting a couple). it was probably just me but I didn't have much time to check out the sign board, and was slightly confused on pricing on the donuts themselves (signboard had more on the drinks then donuts). weird thing is when I said I wanted the bar donuts on the bottom shelf and they pointed to the donut holes on the top shelf (don't know why). was very pricey to me, i thought it would of been maybe couple dollars a donut but it was more than that. the last thing was the taste, it had a good texture but it was SWEET! i mean it will literally hurt your teeth sweet and i couldn't even finish the donuts i had gotten. i think i will just stick to QT donuts, better value and taste in my opinion.

I'm not much of a complainer, but I about fainted when I paid almost $9 for a long john and milk that is maybe 1" longer than Quiltrip. $4.59 for a roll???? Lamar's needs to offer financing for their menu prices. Slow line, inefficient checking out.

The shop felt warm and inviting. The donut filled cases clear and appetite inducing. $30 for a dozen made me think, "I hope they are as good as I remember LaMar's being". The donuts were heavy with oil which made them a bit stomach turning. I really enjoyed the lemon filling in one. I left the outside of it behind. The French crullers were so heavy, the delight of having an airy, eggy, slightly crisp cruller was never going to be a possibility. A disappointing purchase.

We love the raised donuts and the staff has always been very kind and accommodating, and our family are not those super cheerful morning people. This morning when they didn’t have a raised, maple nut donut, they took the time to make one for me. Made my day. Thank you!

I used to buy 3 dozen donuts for my team once a month and it was always about 55 dollars including a chocolate milk and an extra long John. Last time I went in, that exact order was 86. Donuts are great but that price increase is madness.

Tried this place twice. Unfriendly staff. Way way overpriced. $7.59 for a dozen donut holes and $3.89 for a milk. Pretty sad can’t take the kids out for donuts for a reasonable price We will be looking for a new donut shop

This place is wildly overpriced, however... I've gotta hand it to them. The doughnuts are varied and delicious. The building itself is clean and well equipped to handle a pretty decent number of customers all at once. And the staff working here seemed genuinely concerned about your experience. I had a tough time tipping because the manager's assortment was over 30$ for a dozen doughnuts, but at the end of the day, everyone really enjoyed the food they received.

Took my daughter to get donuts this a.m for her 6th b day! Manager was super sweet and gave them a free donut hole 🍩 😋 the donuts were good, although a little pricey. Thanks again! 3 donuts 1 specialty donut 1 chocolate milk 1 small coffee $24 😬😬😬

Too pricey. Sorry but over 2000% markup on $0.20 of ingredients using a low overhead operation like a donut shop in the Midwest...come on. I'm going to start knocking off stars for prices because it's clear the Google review ecosystem is hiding that metric, and it starts with a donut shop in Kansas - which by all logic should be anywhere from a cheap to affordable place to grab a treat. Paying nearly $5 for a single donut with no fancy ingredients is not economically sound for anyone.

Happy Donut Day! We came and got a free yummy donut. Plus we bought some kids loved them. We will be back.

The quality has gone way down all of thier donuts taste like plastic. I think its their frosting it taste like it was scrapped out of a big bucket that has been sitting for weeks. Very sad because I use to love this place.

Donuts were on point, service was really good, was a little pricey compared to donut stop in Amarillo.

Lamar's has delicious donuts! And my friend and I traveled all the way across town because she really wanted a fluff filled maple covered donut and when we got there they didnt have any left. So I asked if they could take a regular maple long john back and put some fluff in it and the gentleman behind the counter said he certilainly could do that for us and did a great job. He was very nice, always friendly service and willing to go the extra mile for a satisfied customer. And the Bavarian cream is awesome and they are generous with the filling. Will always be a repeat customer!

When we first walked in Caleb the assistant manager greeted us with a smile. He was professional and polite. Caleb went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I will be a frequent visitor with the service they provide.

Everytime I go here the staff is not very friendly. The donuts are dry, almost taste like old donuts. Don’t even get me started with the price of them! I do not recommend.

First time here. Smells awesome. It's 6 am and Trevor greeted me with a warm smile. I have found my morning spot donuts larger than my iPhone. It's a must go place

The best donuts. Ever. I love the maple donuts, the long John's and pretty much everything else.

The staff informed me upon entry they could only accept cash.. My total was $16 and I gave her a $20..i was then informed she couldn't give me change.. Donuts were fresh and tasty, staff was apologetic

We love LaMars for the customer service! Everyone behind the counter has always been helpful, happy, and courteous. Doughnuts are above average. I would like to see the bear claws better stuffed, like the bismarks.

Tried to order six dozen glazed for my guys at work. Was told they were sold out and done making donuts for the day at 9am. I get that it was a large order with no notice. However, 9am and you have a sure sale. Can't believe there wasn't even an offer to make more. Wasn't like they were swamped. Three people inside sitting and no one else.

There was one employee working the counter. It seemed like she was the only one there. The phone rang, and she let it ring. She was busy filling customer's orders. I appreciated her taking care of customers that were in the store. They've always had great donuts.

I normally prefer this donut place to the other places in town. But today when I tried to order some they were closed. Inside of their operating hours, Wednesday at 7am. No note or anything on the door saying as to when they may be open or anything. I sat for a little and watched about 15 cars pull up, try the door, and nothing. When I first pulled up I saw a woman at the door on the inside. Update: Black mustang pulled in and parked in a no parking and the lady rushed her in. Next customer walks up, still locked. There's a sign now saying equipment failure. So at least now there's reasoning
