Good enough town square for small town. There's some traditional culinary at street food stall is available here.

First time visiting Alun Alun Kajen and I'm very impressed. The square is very large even though Kajen itself is not a big area. It looks beautiful at night because there's a fountain in the middle of the square, and there's also a large Quran on top of it. There are many food vendors around the square. The prices are also cheap. Parking fees are still affordable. The square is quite clean too. Awesome!

Good place for hanging out with families. There are a big field on the center and lots of food & goods stalls. The park also a good choice to spend time, has many big trees and it's a good place for bringing kids along. Need to be noted, although there are trash bins but visitors still littering over the place. The citizens need to be more educated about cleanliness.

Best place for gathering, the atmosphere was peaceful & cheerful, the people & the restaurant polite & very delicious, various kind of food like Porridge or BURYAM,Cendol,and various other food,the price is friendly for student and budget

one of the favorite places to jog in the morning. cool place, lots of shady trees. usually a festival is held every year, the Kajen Expo. this field is close to the center of the Pekalongan government.

This is the largest "alun-alun" (public field) in Central Java, Indonesia. We can find many food stall in lesehan style here. Some of them sell "sego megono". Enjoy car free day every Sunday here.

It's very crowded, but it's very fun because there are lots of vendors selling heavy to light food around the square. The car park is also wide along the road from end to end. There are many attractions that appeal to children to adults, for example, painting, fishing a small toy fish, a medium ball pools, balloon castle, and small motorbikes. It's a shame, you can't find ginger or wedang drinks in Kajen square.

It's crowdy, lot of food tenants, perfect place for chillin' (in the afternoon) n jogging as well

Aloen-aloen Kajen is such a large open plaza for pekalongan regency citizen. Now it features a rotating landmark in a form of large Quran statue. It also has a sport field, but I'm not sure what kind of sport it's for. Also it has a beautiful modern park which is instagrammable and suitable for young people hanging out.
