We visited the water fall in January, every frozen while the waterfall was very active. Absolutely beautiful. Note there are 2 parkings, one on the top of the hill and one at the water front. Walking between them is about 20min and can be done with a pram. At the bottom there are spots for picnicking.

Beautiful place! Can see the water fall from down under and you can also take a small hike up to view it from the top. Beautiful huge lake and surrounding. Places for fika but can get really crowded during the holiday. There’s a parking system where you need to take a ball roughly 2km ahead of parking lot because it gets very crowded there. Most of the people go into the parking without the ball and it’s very congested and could see some cars parked in ways that other cars may have issues coming out of their spots. There are two hiking trail at the entrance of the parking lot. We didn’t try it but it looks very popular quite many seniors are doing the trails. We would definitely try this next time!

Nice waterfalls in summer time..reached by cycle from goteborg....Beside falls .there are few wooden tables ...where you can relax with hot coffe..and .a big lake surrounded by complete green made our day more beautiful !!!!

Maybe the best waterfall near the west caost of Sweden. Only 300-400m walk from the parking lot, which gets packed on sunny spring and summer days. The view of the lake is great.

Nice views of the lake. Can get a little busy at weekend. Best to go outside of summer if you want to see the waterfalls flowing properly

Very nice spot, the parking was very close to the waterfall. Also, it’s not only about the final destination, the way to the destination is also beautiful.

A really pretty place to stumble upon! The drive up to this reserve was a beautiful one and when you get to the car park and walk down to the shore of the lake, you are rewarded with a stunning view across the lake. The waterfall itself is not very grand, but maybe that is as I went when it was April and had been very dry - maybe more picturesque in the summer/ autumn months, though I still found myself sat at the bottom of the falls by the lake for a while just enjoying being where I was. There are a few beaches within 15-20 minute drive from here two that, if you are in the area, they are well worth the visit, also.

Funny, that many Swedish people does not know this place. Beautiful place to be. I will upload some photos later on. Not accessible with wheelchair and for pushchair.

They have updated the infrastructure here in the last couple of years, new walkways and benches. The nature is just as beautiful as always!

Incredible beautiful and stunning place for a short hike. Also in autumn it's amazing to visit the waterfall. Anyway there are two parking slots. The closest is just for families and people with disabilities. The other parking slot is more far away, kinda off road to drive, so nothing for a lowrider, but also a nice start for the hike. It's a short and easy hike, so possible for every level!
