Askimbadet is a bathing place that I like to visit when I come to Askim! Plenty of space, full of peace and easy to find a private place. kiosk and new from this year minigolf course, toilets are available and changing rooms. It is excellent for running, walks along the water. Highly recommended if you like sun and swimming, barbecue areas are available if you bring your own food.

Nice place to enjoy beach view and swim. Water goes deep gradually.

Amazing beach. The largest stretch of sand I have seen so far in Sweden. And not very far from Gothenburg l, very well connected. This place will be amazing during Summer I presume. A must go of you are a visitor and even more so in Summer.

Too much slime and vegetation in water for my liking.

Often full of Ethnic minorities. There was a large scale fistfight here summer 2022. If you are tourists visiting beautiful sweden I'd give this place a miss. Go out to the islands instead

Classic beach with great facilities. Toilets & lifeguards during high season.

Nice place to hangout with family and friends. You can swim, having big parking place. Place for taking bath. Small place that explains everything abt the environment for kids and adults

Really nice beach. It was very windy but the sand is nice, there is a playground for kids and babies. Great for sunbathing.

Shallow sandy beach with large lawns for play, games and sunbathing. Ramps down to the sandy beach make it easier for wheelchair users to get down there. There are also café, playground, bangolf, outdoor gym, outdoor showers, toilets (also handicap and changing table), volleyball court and barbecue areas.

Beautiful beach close to city centre. Good connectivity for buses from city centre. You can carry food and have at park near beach. There is a ice cream stall nearby. Good parking spots for cars.

I live here. Amazing place.. Great area for a walk along the coast.

Beautiful Beach to visit in summer, especially good for kids with clean transparent water, seashore level of water much lower and risk free for kids to enjoy

Sooooo busy here, and parking is nearly impossible and a race between other people!

This is a very popular place so it is very hard to get a parking if you’re not out at a good time. I went here at 2pm and it was pretty much impossible to find a parking. There is alot of people but never hard to find a good spot. You can choose to lay on either grass sand or cliffs.
