👍👍 This is a wonderful vintage Irani place, right outside Byculla station, on the east side. Service was quick and the waiters helped us choose the dishes. Tried kheema pav, burji, mawa cake and tea. This is a wonderful vintage Irani place, right outside Byculla station, on the east side. Service was quick and the waiters helped us choose the dishes. Tried kheema pav, burji, mawa cake and tea. Burji and kheema were prepared in typical Irani style. Flavours were balanced, not too spicy or oily. Mawa cake was not too sweet. Prices seemed to be on the lower side. The restaurant is hygenic, tables were cleaned just as one finished. They have a counter selling bakery products and few other items. Please note that this place accepts only cash payment, no UPI.

I have not visited nor eaten at ‘Regal Stores Restaurant & Bakery’, but i m sure the ‘Omelette’ and the ‘Keema’ must be special and delicious. Shooting ‘Palace Cinema’ from the flyover was in my wish list so when got a chance i grabbed it and shot ‘Regal Restaurant’ as well.

one of the oldest restaurants of mumbai. must have been doing justice to the name in the old times. Regal. the hotel serves tasty meals at reaaosnable rates. though the old charm is a bit lost. I have seen the deterioration in service over last twenty five years. but the quality and taste of food is intact. the bhurji, omelettes , khari and tea tastes the same. must try if you are around jijamata udyan or the mumbai zoo and are not in for a lavish lunch at persian darbar. if you have time only for tea and snacks, this is the place. have to try the Khari.

This is typical old bakery. The pattice is ok ok not so good about it. Just because old one not necessary to be delicious food but expect higher rates (just because its old??) Two veg pattice and a cup of coffee cost arround 90₹

When you go to Byculla do visit this iconic bakery. Famous for Iranian/Parsi breakfast. In old times, when you visited this place they used to serve you with a pallet full of cakes. We were to eat what we wanted and then accordingly they would charge us. Now, you have to order what ever you like. The cake is my and all my friends favourite! It’s lovely to have! And please do not miss on the kheema pav, it’s amazing 🤩

I went here for the first time coz had heard a lot from my 86 year old uncle. But i must say the guy at the counter was really rude. He actually kinda threw my change on the counter. Sir u need to have some empathy for old people n behavioural etiquette for ur customers.

Regal is one of the best places to eat you'll find near Byculla station. This is one of the iconic irani cafes that you'll find all across South bombay. This restaurant is famous for it's kheema pav and burji. After you enter this place whole interior and dinning settings surely will take you back into a different era.

👍👍 One of the best private clubs in Mumbai. The hospitality and food experience was just great and worthy to mention about. Those waiting can start by scoring some vit D outside and slowly sweat their way to the damp of about 300 diners inside, letting off steam under the first fans Bombay saw in the 60's (50's or 70's??).
