Plastic
Property
with
no
Character
We
just
arrived
here
after
our
travels
in
Nauru,
Fiji
and
Kiribati
and
were
not
quite
prepared
for
bland
hospitality
and
service.
Meaning,
the
staff
were
meant
to
do
nothing
more
than
be
transactional
with
their
customers!
But
then
this
is
a
place
mainly
meant
for
expats
and
business
travellers
and
not
holidaymakers
so
I
guess
that
works
for
them.
LOCATION:
Located
not
too
far
from
the
water
and
in
a
side
street
from
the
main
road.
Easy
access
to
other
points
of
interest
via
the
constantly
flowing
Taxi
traffic
in
the
main
road
DINE
+
DRINK:
The
Tide
Table
bar
and
restaurant
is
one
of
the
popular
haunts
of
locals
and
expats
and
while
it
doesnt
have
a
full
blown
view
of
the
waterfront
a
nice
place
to
grab
a
drink
and
chillout
in
the
evening
ROOM:
I
stayed
in
27,
so
this
review
is
based
on
that,
The
room
itself
looked
like
a
very
tired
old
apartment
in
a
suburban
town
in
the
US
and
was
a
huge
mood
kill!;
VIEW:
WTF
is
that?!
Absolutely
no
view
which
was
a
disappointment
considering
you
are
so
close
to
the
ocean!;
SIZE:
Very
spacious
room;
AIR-CON:
Perfectly
functioning
cooler
that
helped
in
setting
the
perfect
room
temperature;
BED:
decent
bed
that
was
quite
small
!;
BATHROOM:
Dated
Bathtub
shower;
TOILETRIES:
OK
cosmetics
FACILITIES:Be
prepared
to
get
into
a
pure
pacific
island
chill-out
mode.
There
are
no
fitness
facilities
or
a
swimming
pool
at
this
place
so
you
can
just
grab
a
pint
and
do
your
own
version
of
Beer
yoga!
:-)
SERVICE:
Special
mention
and
thanks
to
Colette
for
making
our
stay
special
by
enhancing
our
experience
and
room
we
were
allocated
towards
the
second
half
of
the
stay
HOW
WIRED
YOU
WILL
BE:
PAID
Wi-Fi
that
works
well
all
over
the
property,
but
was
annoying
since
nowhere
you
may
15
USD
a
day
for
WIFi
these
days.
Plasma
TV
screen
dishing
out
dozens
of
channels
spanning
sports,
news,
music,
movies
and
a
wide
variety
of
entertainment
in
multiple
languages
