May 2023 The best experiences are when you look for things away from the crowds. Traditions is that perfect wave of pick-me-up, teach me something new, and enjoy the ride. If you're looking for that taste of quality just let your eyes wander around this shop. You don't need to wonder long about what things are in the building either. Get there during one of the hours where they show you around the production area, learn about how coffee is roasted and the varietals of beans that help build the flavor in your cup, and close off with a cup and enjoy the local coffee shop feel without the feeling of being rushed to finish and move your day. $5 - $7 dollars will get you a cup of coffee more legendary than green mermaids in ways that don't bury you out the flavors you look for in a quality roast. Thank you to Brian, Lindsey, and their amazing staff for the love and effort they put into everything they make.

Yet another experience with the amazing folks at Tradition! I took the cupping class, taught by the owner. Extremely patient with my millions of questions, explains everything in a way that laymen can understand without feeling like being talked down to, and all of this is culminated with actual hands on tasting. Absolutely love this place! Today I embarked on a roasting journey! Had an amazing time.

I absolutely adore visiting Tradition Coffee Roasters. The passion that Brian and Lindsey have for their business comes through in everything they do. I have done their tour and tasting more than once, and learn something new each time. I also appreciate being able to try and truly appreciate different coffees. I've discovered that there are some coffees that I could enjoy without cream and sugar, and coffees that are not something my palette enjoys. I highly recommend this location to any and every coffee lover. It is one of my favorites (possibly my absolute favorite) on island.

Absolutely wonderful local coffee shop! My first time getting out here since living here and I was blown away by their selection of flavors! Sarah made my peppermint mocha to perfection, not too sweet and not too bold! This is a great place for a small workplace breakfast meeting or luncheon, especially when they have food trucks on Fridays! I highly recommend this for coffee lovers who are looking for a unique Hawaiian coffee experience!

Simply amazing staff and atmosphere. And, the coffee is great of course. The coffee is roasted with love and on site. They make keiki milk for our son every time we come as well - huge hit.

I gifted the rosters tour and coffee tasting to my dad for Christmas. As we were the only ones we got a private tour by Brian, who showed us the different stages of the coffee bean and told us about sustainable coffee sourcing on Hawaii. After that we got to try some of the most amazing coffees we have ever had. If you are interested in coffee or know anyone who is, this is a perfect experience.

The owner was so wonderful and showed us the process that coffee goes through from purchasing to roasting. The coffee was the BEST I have ever tasted. Visited here while on vacation and bought a few bags to enjoy this amazing coffee at home as well. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

5 stars! I had a fantastic time cupping with my partner. Brian, our host and the owner of Tradition coffee roasters, lead our tour and explained to us the history behind his shop, how they ethically source their supplies, and how the production/ brewing process works. After learning the history and science behind a brew, we learned how to properly taste coffee with 3 different blends. Brian was such a lovely personality to interact with and made sure to make all the information relatable and understandable. Afterwards I got a coffee from the cafe and it was so tasty! Such a great time, highly recommend!

Oh man. I love love love this place. Sure, the space is great, but more than the place, it’s the people there that make it magical. I love feeling like part of a family every time I stop in for a cup. Last week I went to the coffee pairing dinner and it was so ridiculously delicious and perfectly paired. It was unlike any culinary experience I’ve had not only in Hawaii… but ever! It was so mouth watering delicious. I can’t wait for the next one! Also- how cool is it that you can get a cup of coffee for $2!

Wonderful hidden gem. The owners are very friendly and the coffee is good. We were able to hear part of an impromptu tour while we drank our coffee. It's a great place to stop if you're having your car serviced at RNS Automotive or you're going to one of the other businesses in this industrial park.

We searched online for a coffee roaster while we were vacationing in Hawaii, Honolulu. It was then May, 2022. We live in NC. We previously had been purchasing from a roaster in Waynesville NC and his coffee is great too…… but caught the passion from the staff at Tradition Coffee. We loved the coffee we purchased and brought some decaf beans home. I love that it’s done in a natural way. It is better than any coffee I’ve tried! Though I love every coffee Tradition makes. We drink the Firehouse bean most days but we enjoy being part of the coffee club and being shipped a surprise every month of something different to try every month. We order now from here. It arrives in just a few days by fed ex for just a few dollars. We like that the roast date is written on the bag. Several of our friends have started ordering now , too, after trying the decaf at our house when we have dinner guests.

I enjoyed a few morning coffees here and also joined for a roasting tour one day. Everyone is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and energetic! I loved how in-depth the tour was and how open we were to asking questions. After learning so much about the process behind the brew, it was a great experience getting to taste and compare a few roasts as well. 10/10 would recommend for folks looking to learn and experience something new!

Brian and his team are doing amazing work here! These people really care about great, sustainable, delicious coffee. I did the coffee tasting/tour (highly recommend) and learned a lot about how coffee is produced, then stayed to have some excellent pour-overs and pastries. Plus, the space is open and airy, and the vibe is great. Can't recommend this place enough!

10/10 learning experience! My 5 friends and I did a coffee cupping experience and it was genuinely so insightful and fun. They answered all our questions and went through the process from farm to cup. Staff were friendly and would highly recommend 👍🏼
