What a great little spot! It’s a little suspicious in the area at night with the strong orders of weed but the food was just amazing! Within at least 10 minutes, the food was ready, we collected a treat next door to the place! The chicken Katsu was beyond words the best! Very crispy, tender, and full of flavor. I think it’s a competition between this place here and Queen Street Cafe! Highly recommend this place, you won’t be dissatisfied!

Quick and friendly service. Your standard BBQ joint with a variety of offerings. Quality was decent and good portion sizes, but was lacking in flavor. A decent place for a quick lunch if you keep your expectations in check.

I was over-charged by at least $10, but by not contesting cost until three weeks later, manager(?) denied bilking me. Went to eat with friend, and was too busy to think about questioning cost. Manager tabulated items separately, unseen; however, three weeks later, cost was rung up and available to be reviewed. Both times, no tabulation of items bought presented, just the charge. Yeah, my bad.

I was so excited to get my garlic ahi! But when my order came I was so disappointed I fought back tears. It was cooked so poorly and they used such old fish that I didn’t even recognize it from other good L&Ls I’ve been to. Also they put a grape in my plate instead of an actual tomato….. I will drive miles out of my way to avoid this restaurant and go to another one of the chains if given a choice.

I ordered their beef curry and when i got it, part of it was warm and part of it was cold. Must’ve been microwaved cause the potatoes and the meat were cold. I also ordered the loco moco and it tasted nasty. You could tell the oil they used was old. I swore to never g o this place again and I don’t recommend going to this place.

Scammmmmm alert!!!! I came in and ordered a side of Chicken Katsu a mini side and a side of Kalia pig mini sides she charged me $28 and said she wouldn’t let me order a mini side

Bought a shoyu chicken plate. Was old and microwaved. I didn't hear any pots and pans being moved. Only noise heard was the microwave door opening and the person pressing the buttons. Never again. Terrible.

Great tasting and large portions. Definitely a must try if comming to Hawaii. There are locations all over the place.
