My
BIL
had
tried
this
spot
before
and
said
it
was
pretty
good.
We
tried
calling
ahead
to
place
an
order
but
no
one
picked
up
the
phone.
So
we
decided
to
go
in
and
order
takeout
one
Saturday
at
around
1:30
PM.
It
was
still
pretty
crowded
at
that
time
with
more
people
coming
in
after
us.
You
order
at
the
Kiosk
and
then
wait
for
your
name
to
be
called.
The
food
does
take
a
bit
because
they
are
making
it
to
order.
We
ordered
four
regular
sized
plates
for
four
adults
and
it
was
SO
much
food.
The
portions
are
huge!
We
had
enough
leftover
for
all
of
us
for
two
extra
meals
afterwards.
I'm
not
sure
what
made
us
think
we
could
finish
all
of
this
food.
I
guess
we
were
really
hungry
when
we
were
ordering.
All
plates
include
rice
and
a
side.
Here
is
what
we
ordered:
-Braised
beef
shortribs
-
these
were
really
good.
I
usually
don't
like
braised
things
because
they
tend
to
be
dry,
but
this
one
was
very
tender
-Big
bone
beef
rib
with
luau
-
again,
the
meat
was
tender
but
I
didn't
love
the
coconutty
flavor
from
the
luau
-Garlic
furikake
chicken/pork
belly
fat
adobo
combo
-
can't
go
wrong
with
fried
chicken
but
the
pork
belly
fat
was
just
okay
-Spicy
garlic
furikake
chicken/Kalua
pig
combo
-
this
is
basically
just
the
garlic
furikake
chicken
with
spicy
mayo.
I'm
also
not
a
fan
of
Kalua
pig
in
general,
so
I
can't
really
be
the
judge
on
that
-Twisty
fries
-
I
have
never
had
twisty
fries
before,
so
these
were
an
interesting
shape.
It's
almost
like
a
curly
potato
wedge.
These
were
really
good
-Beef
shortrib
fries
-
again,
the
short
ribs
and
the
fries
were
good,
so
you
combine
the
two
and
you
have
a
masterpiece
For
the
sides,
we
opted
for
four
of
the
purple
sweet
potato
salad
with
bacon
and
eggs,
because
the
other
options
seemed
kind
of
boring.
Plus,
BIL
had
it
before
and
recommended
that
one
anyway.
It
was
very
flavorful
and
a
unique
version
of
potato
salad.
I
never
thought
of
this
combo
before.
I
even
tried
making
a
version
of
this
at
home
but
it
just
wasn't
the
same.
Overall,
a
great
meal
with
lots
of
flavor.
I
was
very
tired
of
the
leftovers
by
day
3,
so
I
would
recommend
two
people
sharing
a
regular
plate.
Tip
-
Don't
forget
the
hot
chili
peppah
water!
Most
of
the
plates
come
with
one,
but
there
are
little
cups
on
the
side
in
case
you
need
extra.
