First time back here since pandemic started. First off make sure you check-in and get your name on the wait list. Just go inside and speak to the person at the cash register. This applies even if they haven't opened yet. We went for lunch and even though it was a weekday and before they opened by about 15 minutes we still ended up having to wait till 30 minutes after they opened to get inside. The wait is tolerable and they don't sit a ton of customers all at once so it's actually quite nice since it stays less crowded. Buffet is now done all via ordering now. You'll get a slip of paper to choose what sauces you want as well as of you want rice or fried chicken...which is the only kitchen appetizer left from before. Other than that you have another piece of paper with all the veggies, seafood and noodle options. So far as I can recall all the items from before are still present and maybe a few extra. The different meats are ordered directly with your server. Everything we got was quite good and while the first order took a little longer than expected to arrive (they were busy as lots of order go in at start of day) the rest of the time they always came out very quickly. Service was as nice as always. Everything looked nice and clean and the servers all wore their masks properly if that matters to you.

All you can eat shabu shabu for 90 minutes ($30).They have all the vegetables, seafood and meat you can imagine. There’s something for everyone! You choose between different types of broth (original, miso, miso spicy, tonkatsu), then you add karaage (3 different types), and the kind of meat that you want. The restaurant will charge you for any food you don’t eat so don’t get more than you can eat. An excellent place to experience Shabu Shabu, socialize with friends, and enjoy delicious food. Worth the experience alone. Note: this place is extremely busy so call in early!

Such a great experience! My first time in a hot pot restaurant. We are so much!! Love being able to choose what to put in our broths and the cocktail my husband got was so refreshing. We just had to wait a little long for spoons because they were washing them, but other than that we had a great time!

Getting there well before they open is a MUST. Even half an hour before, there’s already a line. They have a tablet that you reserve a table on which is nice. You can reserve and walk around the mall for a bit. The selection was amazing. Meats, veggies, sauce...👌👌👌 The lunch special is very affordable considering the variety that they offer. They were quick to refill soup anytime they deemed it was low. I enjoyed myself immensely!! 4 stars because I had to ask my waiter twice to refill my water before he remembered.

This is a really unique and fun experience. You choose a broth and then go through a buffet line and choose vegetables, noodles, and seafood to cook in your own personal broth. Meat is also available. It is all you can eat for a set price. The ingredients were really fresh. Highly recommend!

This place is my absolute favorite Asian fusion/hotpot restaurant in Honolulu. It's all you can eat for ~28 a person for 90 minutes. When they say it's all you can eat, they aren't joking! They will bring you as much food as you can consume. Just be sure to not leave there with much on the table or you can be charged for it. Happy hour is an amazing deal too, it's essentially "buy one drink, get another for a penny" which is an amazing deal for Honolulu! If you're ever in the Ala Moana area and want to try something new, please consider this place.. I'm now a regular customer!

It’s a truly hot restaurant. I went there twice: one in the morning by 10:30am before the restaurant opened at 11am. Surprisingly, there was already a long lineup at the entrance. The second time I went was a Sunday evening by 7:30pm. A large crowd was waiting outside the restaurant while the restaurant had a full house. We waited and waited until the restaurant closed at 10pm.

All you can eat hotpot spot, mostly where I'm from, all you can eat means mediocre quality, but here it was different. Nice food, lots of good options. Service could maybe be a little quicker at times, but still good

Best pricing for lunch special! Customer service is outstanding and the atmosphere is a vibe. My wife and I will be coming here at least once a week. It’s nice to see the guys slice the meat fresh as well. Their tonkotsu broth is the best in my opinion.

Located in the shopping mall complex, you could get your name checked in to wait in line and shop around while waiting so it didn’t get too boring for us. They will text you once your turn is up. Except for the long wait, everything else was great after we got our table. There was enough space between each party to make yourself comfortable while dining there. Sukiyaki broth and Original broth were great. The seasoning was on point so we didn’t have to make any adjustments to fit our taste. As they are very firm on the 90-minute per table rule, the service was very fast in return to give you enough chances for reordering as needed. They let us order 4 plates of meat per person each time and brought out the meats super fast. Not a lot of variety for vegetables and seafood but decent enough for the price $29.99 per person. We also ordered one appetizer (included in the ayce pricing) but it was very average and not even fresh so I wouldn’t recommend to stuff your stomach with these.

4th time here and it gets better. Normally I ask for Bradda Kobe, but we got Bradda Wilson. Service was awesome. Nothing bad to say except "they didn't have the yam noodles" the meat and chicken kept on coming and Wilson made the experience for my nephew and his friends A+. Ask for Kobe and Wilson to be your waiters. Their customer service is awesome.

A classic here at ala moana. Put yourself on the waitlist, go explore, come back, and eat some good hot pot. You have 1.5 hours, but that should be plenty of time for most groups. There's an extensive selection of veggies and other toppings outside of meat (qual eggs, shrimp, tofu, mushrooms, greens, etc) self-serve available. The sauces are pretty nice and standard too. One of the watermelon drinks tasted really artificial, but the lychee was really nice. Have fun!

4.5 stars. Fairly priced for lunch. 5 options of a-la-carte meats. I suppose dinner as slightly improved selections at a more premium price. Chicken karage was great for an appetizer. Food is fresh and sauces can be self mixed. Overall great spot to stop by with friends and or family. Note that they have a 90 minute limit. Some servers were extremely hard to get a hold of.

This had to have been, one of the better experiences eating out, that I've had in a long time. Some of waiters could be part of a Kpop boy band, as they were playing Kpop the whole time we were there. They could make the Shabuya boy group. I guess we went right before the rush, between lunch and dinner around 3:30 pm, so there wasn't any wait. They ask you to scan the QR code for the menu, they do have regular menus in case you can't get it on your phone. They seat you, waiter/tress comes over and does the asking if you've ever been there before, and gives you the spiel about how things work. Basically everything is included in the 29.99 price, except drinks. They have liquor, mixed drinks, beer, soda, juice, and tea. Ordered soda and tea, and was told they are refillable. My personal recommendation, try not to drink anything if you can help it. Takes up too much stomach space. They offer you rice as well, and I'm sure that is also refillable, but another recommendation, don't eat too much rice until you're almost done! They have different cuts of meat, even though it doesn't look like a lot, it has to be so filling anyways. They have a buffet of veggies, seafood, sauces, and noodles, too many things to list. Appetizers all included as well, you just order from your server. Food! The broths were very good, a lot better than some of the other hot pot places around the island. We ordered Tonkotsu and Spicy miso, they were both very well flavored. Meats 3 out of the 5 beef meats were really good. Blade, wagu, and flat were our favorites, all very soft and easy to chew. We didn't try the chicken or pork. The veggies cook up quick absorb the broth nicely. There weren't too many choices in the sauce as some other places, so if you have a preference of sauce, they might not have it there. The waiter we had was super attentive and helpful, never rushing us to eat, always came back to check on us, would totally eat here again.

Love the variety of fresh veges, seafood, and meat buffet. Healthy meal with you own personal hot pot. GPS may bring you to the wrong place, so it's next to the main car park #2 (green) at ground level (see video). Fast Service.

Such a good place to get hot pot. All you can eat for a pretty good price with a good selection of pre-sliced meats, vegetables, sea food, and more. It is definitely a place worth bringing someone to for the first time. After that, it would be a nice occasional meal. Customer service is pretty good and they will always be around to catch orders for meats and refilling the pots with your chosen broth. Overall, a great first time experience for me and a good option for if you want to spend a bit.

Shabuya is good eats at a good price point. While the broths could use a little more depth, the cuts of meat aren't bad and the abundance of sea food and veggies make up for any shortcomings. Meat choices include beef, pork, or chicken. You'll see all the regulars load up on goodies like clams, mussels, and shrimp. The fish cakes are pretty regular, but note that those are fillers and you gotta reserve stomach space for the good stuff! They also have appetizers from the kitchen, such as gyoza and fried chicken (different flavors). There's a self-serve sauce station that you can test around with to create your perfect dipping complement. My go-to is to make a sesame oil sauce. I also love that I can load up on garlic, spring onion, cilantro, jalapeños, kimchi, and edamame. The servers are very attentive and will actively clear the empty meat trays with no hesitation in bringing more. It's usually pretty packed here, and expect some waiting with the Yelp waitlist system. I live a short walk away and will usually check in from home, monitor my place in line, then run to the check-in desk once I get that text. Then it's usually a few more minutes of lounging outside while they get your table ready. Parking is free as it's in the Ala Moana mall.

Great, all-you-can-eat shabu shabu place with limited 1h30 time! There was a short wait at beginning but well worth it. The service was quick, meat was brought out swiftly. A nice selection of seafood, noodles and veggies and individual soup bases to choose from!

Wow love this place! Food was delicious and the service was spot on! Checking on us on a constant biases making sure we were okay. Great place for events and celebrations! Well worth the wait and money!

Everything was good except for services. I cannot blame the server. It was super busy. Server forgot my soda. Spoons were not available. Had to wait for like 20 minutes and remind the server again. $30 a person. We came in at around 1:30pm.

Crave premium all-you-can-eat shabu shabu at an affordable price? We’ll, this is the best. Freshly cut meat and vegetables along with a variety of seafood, oden, and noodles. They have great food and exceptional service. What is Shabu Shabu? A Japanese hotpot dish featuring thinly sliced meat, seafood and fresh vegetables in boiling flavored broth with a variety of dipping sauces. Be prepared for long wait times. This place gets busy. Dine in only…obviously.

Very delicious shabu shabu! Great service. The price was very reasonable at $19/person and it’s all you can eat! Our stomach almost exploded!

Cool spot. Each person gets their own hot plate and hot pot vs a communal pot. The vegetables were fresh and the meat super thinly sliced. They are priced well for how much you can eat.

Amazing experience and good service. We waited 30 mins because we didn’t have a reservation but it was well worth the wait. The food tasted fresh and the meat was delicious. Although we really enjoyed the seafood. Would come back again.
