Beautiful beach. Free parking available. Restroom facilities on site. Water is calm and great for children! Good for snorkeling because of calm water. We even saw a sea turtle while we were there. Close to many resorts, shopping, and dining.

Absolutely awesome place to experience the ocean in a protected cove in the many lagoons nearby. Getting to the tip of the beach you can see waves rolling in and enjoy the beautiful sunset with the shallow reef in the backdrop.

Nice surroundings. Your landscaping crews needs to be there earlier before you open the lagoons to the public. We got there at Lagoon 4 at about 6:45 am, and the grounds still have tree branches, leaves and bits of trash on the walkways that haven't been cleaned up yet. Poor Maintenance scheduling for the upkeep.

Had a beach day here for a few hours. My friend lives down the road an I was visiting after being gone for five years. Really nice place and beautiful lagoon.

Very nice men made lagoons, park at lagoon 4 for free, if there is a big big one park at marina for the payment, but line moves fairly fast. Clean water with some snorkeling opportunities, we saw different fishes. Not much of entertainment or food around, so bring water and snacks yourself. I also saw a weasel near the parking and took a picture of it!

Last night 🌙 on our anniversary trip so we came to see our final sunset 🌇. Even though it had clouds ⛅ on the horizon it was still beautiful. I highly recommend seeing the sunset while you're here. Aloha 🤙

Amazingly beautiful - we were lucky to be staying close it for a few days and I could go down for walks and runs along it. It has good public parking and access as well. Good spot for a picnic or a day out with friends / family - enough to keep everyone entertained. A lot of folks bring their gear for snorkeling, paddle boarding or just lazing in the water.

Nice lagoon !! plenty of grass. You need to pay for parking one side the other side is free but busy parking lot... oh my ouch.. Great relax time.

Short drive from home. Nice place to just chill and enjoy food, drinks, and our time together. Unfortunately, you're not allowed to bring your own umbrella or paddle boards, so save yourself some time and leave them at home or in the car.

Love the calm lagoon atmosphere. You can just float and chill in the water. Great views of the sunset. The parking can get full, but haven't felt overwhelmed with the number of people there.

Came here for the sunset and was not disappointed. Plenty of space to stretch out, parking was limited and that helped keep the number of people down. The beach was clean. I would recommend this but be prepared to wait for parking or have some alternative drop off plans.

Very clean and not crowded. I will suggest taking plenty of food and drinks though because the water makes you thirsty and hungry. There's staff throughout the area so if you need anything you can ask. First time there on vacation with the family.

Great park. Clean, lots of beach and grassy area. Bathrooms were a bit messy, due to high volume of people.

Nice, well-kept beach with parking, bathrooms, paved walking trails, and protected cove area which is great for young kids or weaker swimmers (very little wave action during morning).

I would probably rate this lower for my purposes but it depends what is your purpose. Just hanging with family on a nice grassy area or snorkeling and swimming with small children, then this is your place. Parking is limited so get there early. Lots of walking trail between the 4 lagoons and resorts. For real snorkel adventure, these man made lagoons are probably not it, but definitely a tourists paradise.

Ko Olina Beach Park is a man-designed, man-made elegant landscape, which is an integral part of Ko Olina Resort. The beach has many daily visitors from the neighboring communities along the Waianae Coast and more distant locales across the islands. And, there are vacationers from around the world, who frequent this idyllic location. Ko Olina in Hawaiian means "Place of Joy" or "Place of Happiness." Translated into Japanesd the words become" "Yorokobi no tokoro" or Yorokobi no bashyo." Indeed, it is a stunning and memorable place, where many enjoy their unforgettable visits and stays. This beachhead was originally a vast sugar cane field. And, living among those sugar cane stalks were a countless number of colorful ladybugs. Ladybugs still inhabit these lands. Today, October 20, 2023, one even decided to keep me company by choosing to ride along on my vehicle with me back home. The iconic ladybug image is now the symbol and logos of the Ko Olina Resort and Ko Olina Golf course. It is said that the renouned King Kamehameha loved visiting this region, as a remote hide-out and resting place. Far removed from community activities, he chose to relax, bathe and take in mesmerizing sunsets with his family and warriors. Today, many adore this carefully landscaped property for identical reasons. See for yourself. Also, for all you avid bird-watchers, there is a BIRD ALERT in place. From August through the end of April each year, you'll see an amazing migratory bird visitor from Alaska, called the Pacific Golden Plover, in Hawaiian "Kolea," meaning one who takes and leaves." Each year the Kolea comes to Hawaii in August (the Fall), winters here in the Hawaiian Islands, then returns again to Alaska (it's birthplace) in the the Spring following its winter stay. It makes it's astonishing non-stop (with no in flight meals :):) for the 3,000 miles in 3 to 4 days. Images of the "Kolea" appear later in this post. Please check out the Golden Plover images and engage in your own further research. Your findings will astonish you. NOTE: For still additional, astonishing details about the incredible Pacific Golden Plover, please visit my "Magic Island" post. Rain or shine these landscapes are likely to offer unforgettable views and memories.

Love this walk - the "boardwalk" stroll. Walked about 2.75 miles from the Four Seasons down to the dirt trail at the last peninsula. Took 42 minutes at a fast-ish pace, but we stopped and took lots of pictures. Path is nice but can be slick in the rain. The stone paths are much less slick than the concrete. Lots of birds and wildlife to see and the waves are cool on the stormy days. Lots of walkers and runners, even in the earliest mornings and latest evenings.

Fantastic place to swim and tey snorkeling. Great for kids as it is protected and relatively shallow. So much quieter and less crowded than Waikiki, and very safe to park etc.

One of the best places on the island to swim. It has a very large paved walking trail. This place is super kid friendly with lots of shade trees .There are breaker walls nearby, so the waves are not dangerous for the children if you get there early enough there is a parking lot that is free as long as there's an empty spot otherwise there is a $17 parking lot close by.

The lagoon is an amazing spot to swim and relax. It's such a wonderful beach that you'll find more kids around, but it wasn't so busy that they were obnoxious and it's kinda great to seeing them have fun. The area surrounding the lagoon is so picturesque it hardly feels real. An amazing spot!

Lagoon 4 is the best spot. Wide open and away from tourist spots. Parking is fairly big as well. Water was a little foamy and dirty the day we went but that's all due to the tide. Pictures will show you the best time to go...
