Food is just delicious now as I remember saimin noodles during my childhood in Hawaii. The flavor of the soup you can't forget, it just has that taste you can't get anywhere else. Service is good when it's not too busy but expect to wait a bit during lunch/dinner time. It's like everywhere else and worth it!

My food was Awesome! Korean Chicken plate all toss salad was very good quality. Service was fast and friendly.

It took them 40minutes to give me two mini plates. I understand that they’re busy but they should let the customers know before ordering that there’s a 40min wait time so that we can choose to stay or not.

Zippys Ewa is very packed every part of that restaurant is packed ….the drive-through, inside the restaurant. Usually you have to wait for anything you do or order there, like being seated for the restaurant and waiting in line waiting for order your food or picking up your food. Or waiting through the drive-through everything takes about 10 to 20 minutes. Tops .But the food is great. The parking lot is packed also and the service is all right

UPDATED: I've been to Zippy's quite a few times since my last review, but it's always for the breakfast plates. We usually order through the app for pick-up and enjoy our breakfast plates on the beach. The orders are on time and I don't think we've gotten an incorrect order yet. My go-to is the bento with rice, eggs, Portuguese sausage, and either bacon or corned beef hash. My new favorite is their chili. A side of their chili with the breakfast bento is *chef's kiss*. Next time, I think I'll try the chili moco. —————- Zippy's Ewa is a fast food chain that specializes in Hawaiian food. You'll find your spam musubis, loco mocos, and saimin. If local isn't your taste, they've also got burgers and chili so I'm sure you can find something here to suit you. The catch is that it's not that good, but you also shouldn't expect it to be. I ordered the fried saimin, which was supposed to come with spam, but it was mainly just noodles. My stomach started feeling weird a few hours later so I'm not sure if it was the Zippy's, something else I ate, or just the result of being over-tired from the weekend. Either way, I think I'm okay with the Zippy's. The only thing I MIGHT order again is the chili. But as for local food or burgers, there are ton's of better options.

Overpriced food with small portions. This place used to be really good. No customer service. The takeout drive thru window is the priority over the walk up counter customers.

A lot of people behind the counter nobody really helping anyone. The chicken was over cooked several times and cold. Can’t figure that out. It’s amazing to look someone in the face not acknowledge them and be the one that hast to come back several minutes later to service. Worst location ever.

Ordered a deluxe (extra $0.88 charge for a piece of lettuce, slice of tomato and a slice of onion) cheese burger. The burger was barely warm, dry as hell and has absolutely no condiments (mayo, mustard, pickles or catsup). Lettuce was wilted and the fries luke warm. I barely ate any of it... Tasted worse than a burger you'd get in highschool. I am not impressed with Zippy's and can't understand why people find it to be so popular, I don't get what the hype is about. Won't waste my money at any Zippy's location from here on out, I'm good!

I had a decent experience at Zippy's Ewa location, but I was disappointed that the food was delivered cold and some items were soggy. However, the service was satisfactory and I appreciate their efforts to make it right.

On our way out, we decided to grab some donuts for the road. Their donut holes and Ensemada were so yummy that we just had to have lunch there. They did not disappoint!! I chose the fried noodles with teriyaki beef, and my daughter chose the beef stew. Delicious!!

Great for late night dinner. Rather walk-in, seems like they don’t answer the phone. Be specific with your order. I don’t care for the fried chicken as I used to, now it’s hard & dry. I got the chili Moco ( bed of rice at bottom, one big hamburger patty, scoop of chili covering & topped with 2 eggs w/ Mac salad ) pretty good

Once ordered, tuna melt combo (with tomato bisque soup) was very tasty comfort food! Figuring out the combo part to place the order was a bit confusing. Friendly local atmosphere. Could improve on cleanliness.

Super bummed. I love Zippys and I love my neighborhood, but this location gives bad proportions here. We ordered large chili bowls to take out, but the bowls were mostly rice. This was disappointing and unfortunate.

Burrito was ice cold. Sent back they put chili that was only warm. So I ask them to Micro it for few came back with veggie chili. And when I asked wait help I had ordered regular chili he said " oh they put corn on your plate" I already have Mac salad on . I know what their Veggie chili tastes like. But I was hungry and my date was almost done with her meal so just ate it. Note : the restaurant side was not busy yet.

They no longer offer chicken katsu curry and I am sad. As for the actual restaurant it's fancier and not deafeningly loud like the kapolei one can be.

The service was not good once we ordered our food. Food was brought out at different times. The people in our group who ordered french toast and pancakes got their meal about 10 minutes after the others received their meal. That was more complicated to make. Our ordered of bacon was given to use as we were leaving after we told them to take it off the bill.

Loved dining in and having a Vegetarian Chili 🍝....

Consistently good local comfort food. Not healthy but tasty. This is a island wide chain with mostly solid staff depending on location. Recommend for a good tasting take out meal...

Great food..Great customer service.. refund my money and gave me my ordered chili moco free.. I was so tired from work and wanted to eat my favorite food before going home. Waited a little bit long than usual and the nice employee refund me.🤙👍

Zippy’s is the go to spot for food!!! If you’ve never tried it, then give their zip pack a go!!! The chili and rice is also a solid option. Korean chicken and Ox tail soup are also very good choices!! We eat here often and the staff is always friendly, occasionally a little unresponsive to customers and their needs, but for the most part this is isolated to busy times. My one complaint is the customers at the pick up window who order and sit there while the rest of the people are waiting to pick up their food. If you’re one of them, go park until your food is ready. You’re not special :-)

This location can get really busy but the staff here works really hard to get things out super fast. The wait times are always reasonable, but if you're ordering to go, I recommend placing your order online or by calling ahead. Whether you dine in or order a family meal to go, the food is consistently good, and the service is always above and beyond. This is one of our go-to spots for lazy nights...our favorite is the chicken bucket family meal deal which comes with a giant tub of white rice and mac salad. More than enough to feed the family and put smiles on faces.
