Food here is absolutely amazing! I went twice in a row because it was soooo good. I got the bbq mix plate and all three meats were so flavorful and moist. Would highly recommend going here.

Food was good. But as the last reviewer stated, lady at counter was definitely not friendly. Dropped my food at the front counter and turned her back to me, as if I was inconveniencing her. And on top of that no dine in. I wouldn’t go back to this location.

A must visit on my trips to Hawaii. Classic plate lunch spot with consistent food. Macaroni salad is amazing, go with the chicken katsu or kalua pork and always get a spam musubi.

Ate the beef stew in a bowl. The beef stew tastes imitation and sweetened. The gravy not natural flavors from the beef. The beef pieces need to cut smaller ti bite size and the meat is tough. Too much starch thickened gravy. Over kill, looks imitation.

Looks like a lot of reviews on here is about the front worker. It’s true, she is super rude and disrespectful for no reason. Food is good tho but get rid of the front workers in this location cause it looks like a lot of people experienced her horrible customer service. L&L in the other location in kapolei marketplace would never treat their customers like how this location treats everybody. Just had to come here cause it was closer to home. Highly recommend choosing L&L in the other location cause the lady that runs the front counter will ruin your day with her attitude. Trust me

Classic L&L dishes (think Hawaiian plate lunch). The best L&L place I've been to and better than the other same type restaurants I've been to.

Several reviews mentioned the lady who runs this place as being rude-- I decided that didn't bother me and decided to go anyway, and wish I hadn't. She was very rude when we asked very basic questions like "what dishes are popular here?" or "Does this meal come with rice?" And while the food was OK her attitude is a genuine reason I won't go back.

Our food was pretty good (and huge portions). However, I was annoyed that they would not let my daughter use their bathroom. This should be a common courtesy to paying customers.

It's food. It's not bad but not particularly good either but it gets the job done if you hungry. It took awhile for our order but that's alright to me if it was just cooked (it was). The lady that took our order was neither friendly or rude but just there. Overall, very generically average.

Quick and friendly service. I had the seafood combo platter and loco moco. Both were excellent. Lots of food and very fair price. Mahalo!

Made a phone order, went down immediately after we called it in. Then added to the order after I got there, the girl was just able to ring up the order all together. Service is good, food was good, saimin was not so good. I understand we took it to go, so maybe that's why the noodles were too soft, but the soup was like water... There wasn't much taste, which was kind of disappointing... Everything else was good. Forgot to take pictures of the food...

My husband and I really enjoyed the food here and it is very reasonably priced! I had the aloha saimin while my husband had the bbq plate which was huge!!!! It was all so good and the people working were very helpful for it being our first time in Hawaii!

Solid spot for great Hawaiian style food. It’s a grab and go style place, but I sat and ate in the shop. The chicken katsu curry hit the spot.

On June 4th, I ordered a regular roast pork plate and a side order of macaroni for an additional $3.35; when called to pick up my order, I noticed my side order was not there. I told the lady that took my order that I was missing my side order of mac salad; she said that they put it all together in the plate. I go there regularly and my side order of mac salad is usually put in small separate container. I did not want my side order mixed together with the gravy of the roast pork plate and I was planning to eat the mac salad later. They just scooped the mac salad from the plate with gravy and put it in another container and it was way less than the 2 scoops usually given! @ $3.35 as listed on the menu. Take care your customers and do the right thing by just correcting the order and giving me the mac salad on the side with no mixing of gravy on it

The curry loco moco wasn't tasty. Should've stick with the regular gravy. I'm sure the curry from the shop a few doors down would have been the bomb. That's why there was a line outside.
