So it is ramen. It is also much better than daiichi ramen. That said it is average level ramen. Some of the booths at Shirokiya have better. Noodles were not chewy enough and the broth which should be the highlight of the dish was honestly disappointing. The meat was a bit tough, chewy, and a bit salty. The egg which should be soft boiled in the center was hard boiled. It is better then the stuff you will make at home, but is not the religious experience that I have had in Japan at some of the hole in the wall places I like. As for the fried rice, pass on it. The gyoza was not bad a 4/5 good flavor but they should use a bit of egg/flour so the center ingredients hold together better.

Ramen Ya is mine and my husband's go to spot for lunch,it's reasonably priced. In fact I haven't noticed much of a price jump unlike everywhere else. The food is always amazing. I've been to this particular location twice, and it's no exception. The food is top notch,the service is fast and the restaurant is nice and clean. Today I tried the seafood crispy noodles and ,wow! It's delicious and the portion is HUGE,I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely come here if you haven't, its worth it.

Upset that my take out chicken katsu curry has no curry on it. The rice under was dry. Nothing like how it looks on the menu.

Been here several times... Had good experiences each time. Food portions are fairly large. Ramen and Udon are delicious along with the pot stickers! Low key place with plenty of tables.

Employees were nice and the restaurant was clean. Food was good. I had the A combo. Ramen w pork, pork fried rice and 4 piece gyosa. Recommend. I walked so no issues w parking. Recommend.

The food here is perfect for a little comfort fix. The ramen options are plentiful, and the bundle deals offer enough food to share. The gyoza are a family favorite. The staff here sre very nice, and the atmosphere is very family friendly. While ramen may not be on anyone's must do while in oahu, it is definately on my family's favorites list

The staff is always friendly . The service is quick , and proficient. Good amount of seating if you're looking to eat inside. Take out is also an option if you're on the go!

We only ordered take-out from here a handful of times and all times our service was BEAUTIFUL!!! All the ladies are super nice and very child-friendly. Maybe one day we’ll eat in and experience the Dine-In service. 😁 Food is AMAZING, Service is AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Good Ramen and Curry options. Their combination options are fairly priced. A favorite of ours is combo A: small Ramen with 4 gyoza on the side and either the katsu or beef curry. A comfortable atmosphere with friendly service and lots of free parking.

Sad excuse for a Ramen shop! We ordered two Ramen bowls, both equally terrible. Noodles seemed like they were right out of a package and put into our bowls. Broth was like brown dirty water. No garnish. Waste of time and money! This is NOT Ramen. Never again.
