The food here was ok. The sauce on the garlic shrimp was amazing, but the shrimp themselves tasted like frozen/thawed pre-cooked shrimp. The noodles were slightly cold, I got one bad cheesy potato, and the rice was a ball of mush. Next time I go I'm going to try the ahi katsu with the same sides to try a new protein, and to see if the mediocrity of the sides was a fluke or if that's normal.

Food was outstanding! The staff member that helped us was very nice. We chatted about our local area and his recent travel. The portion size was large. I had the teriyaki steak, my wife the teriyaki chicken, and daughter the garlic shrimp. Very happy with our visit!

Man… so let me tell y’all. I went to this place today and boy … the surf and turf really hit the spot. Sorry, all I had was my empty plate left. *update* ⬇️⬇️ Food was so good I had to visit again. I called ahead and the food was ready to pick up when I got there.

5/14/2021 This was my first time trying and I liked this place a lot! 4 stars only because the nice worker (it was her first day, I think) made a mistake on my sides. I asked for 2 mac & cheese but I got 2 mac salad instead.The mac salad was really good though. It was tangy, had small pieces of carrot, and had paprika sprinkled on the top with not too much mayo. I'm picky about my mac salad and the macaroni was cooked perfectly and not mushy. I got a cheeseburger with mayo, mustard, and cheese sauce. I like when a burger doesn't have too many condiments on it. The burger was awesome! The patty had great char flavor and was perfectly cooked. I loved the pretzel bun! Sometimes pretzel buns are hard and chewy but this one was fluffy and the right texture. I like non-sloppy burgers and this one was perfect! My fiance had the Lemongrass Chicken sandwich. He liked it and the asian slaw too but he said it made the bun soggy so next time he'll ask to have it on the side. He loved his 2 sides of fries and I did too! They were super crispy and not soggy or oil logged at all. I can tell they fry in fresh oil. It took us over 20 min to get home and eat so I was surprised that the fries were still so crisp. We're creatures of habit and like what we like so we'll be back! Great food and friendly service, Aina Grill!

Great food! Cannot recommend enough. We were visiting for family vacation and were looking for a local run restaurant and the food was delicious. Small restaurant maybe 5 tables inside but the staff was so friendly! Great option for to-go food as well. We loved the surf and turf plate, Mac salad was wonderful and the garlic shrimp. Thank you!

This place was awesome. So much diversity to the menu and the owner was awesome; very kind , welcoming and hospitable and the portions were great. I had the teriyaki Steak with my favorite baked potatoes ever 👍👍 cooked perfectly ! Amazing food with amazing service!

So so, had the combo spicy shrimp and ahi katsu, $20, its more like seared ahi not katsu. I had better at Haleiwa Lunch Wagon and Ken's in Kahuku and cheaper too and way bigger portions. In addition, portions was chincy. If you going pay the price give da locals something to rave about. The guys post of an empty plate in his review was because he had so little bit. Disappointed with the hamburger steak, frozen patty from Costco or Sam's Club. Not homemade, first and last time here. The taste was ok like I said get way better places than here. Just being honest.

Their food is bomb. However, I ordered online a couple weeks ago and they had closed early for a restaurant deep clean. There was nothing on the website or on the phone message that said they were closing early, and my order went thru. I only learned that they closed early when I went to pick up my food and there was a sign on the door. But I will be back, cuz their chimichurri is amazing.

Mind blown 🤯 this place is a must. Everything was sooo good I’m over here sad that it’s all gone. Got the steak, potatoes with cheese sauce, teriyaki chicken with Mac and cheese and the cheesesteak sandwich.

Been here twice now, both times didn't disappoint. We got the surf and turf, Mac salad, noodles and side salad. The steak was cooked at medium and had excellent flavor. The sauce on the shrimp was delicious. The Mac salad had a nice creaminess to it. We will definitely be back again.

You can ride by and completely miss this place but once you visit you won't forget it. Small obscure place that serves quick food as a reasonable price. Ample parking and easy access from Farrington Hwy. Recommend take out.

We stopped by to try out the food and was extremely disappointed!! The French fries were burnt and overcook. The Teriyaki Steak had no taste at all. The rice was mushy and the noodles was okay. My wife had the fried chicken plate and the fried chicken was dry and over cooked! Her rice was mushy as well and the noodles were okay. The customer service was a 10/10 but we won’t be back to eat again due to the food that we got and was not happy with.

Food looked really good in all the pictures, the plate me and my wife got looked nothing like the pictures. Chicken wasn’t crispy like the picture made it seem like it would be, food was still cold at the center as well. Overall taste wasn’t there either. I was excited to try this place, sad it didn’t work out how I wanted.

Food was just so-so. But to be fair, I ordered their burgers and beef kawali instead of their plate meals which may be what they are more known for. I like how you could choose sides for the burger since there were so many options! The beef patty was a little dry. The beef kawali had good flavor but had a little too many fat pieces. Good prices and okay food!

Jeff was awesome! A great atmosphere, we’ve lived here for 4 years and I can’t believe we haven’t been here before! I wish it was next to our house so we could go everyday! Mahalo nui for the experience! I couldn’t have picked a better place to bring family visiting the island. Can’t wait to go back! Mahalo Jeff and the staff for cooking us phenomenal food!
