If we could only pick one thing to do in Ohua, this excursion would be it. The boat and crew were phenomenal. We really enjoyed Capt. Mason, Mino, Marisa, and Jase. Each was so friendly and knowledgeable. The snorkeling was terrific and we saw two separate pods of dolphins while cruising. The lunch was tasty as well. The photos taken by Marisa were well worth the add-on cost.

The Ocean Joy Cruise at Ko Olina provided hours of fun and adventure for the family. We saw a school of dolphins and went snorkeling with the fish. The crews were super friendly and supportive for the entire journey. They even have one Japanese translator if you need the language support. One bonus was they included beverages and buffet style lunch after the activities. We were so happy but yet tired after the cruise.

Super awesome experience. This was my families favorite part of our whole trip. We did the morning cruise and it was perfect. They are a family business and you can tell they put their heart into it. They were super friendly and lively and wanted to ensure everyone had a great time. They made sure no one felt too shy to ask for anything and always offered. Unlimited soda and other drinks and some alcohol that was delicious. Very informative about the snorkel and they were super safe! My 6 year old was able to snorkel and have fun with their noodle floated they provided. Their lunch was sooo delicious. Seriously worth it! I can not think of one negative thing to say. The photos were not that expensive to purchase and they got some awesome shots! I was able to bring my camera as well to get Some cool water shots too. We saw dolphins and flying fish and even a sea turtle.

Our crew was amazing. So friendly and kind and willing to put up with newbie questions. We snorkeled for an hour atop a cool reef area. Saw trigger fish, turtles, starfish, sea cucumbers, and many other exotic fish. They made us a great dinner and took us on an evening cruise while we dined and chatted with our friends. Can't say enough good about the crew. Young captain who was knowledgeable and his crew were helpful. Definitely would do this again.

We truly enjoyed an incredible experience. Captain Doug was a super host, and his crew members were amazing. We were SO grateful to learn that the team offers 'lens-correcting' snorkeling gear, which allowed us to 'see' the fish much more clearly than expected. The crew also provided deflatable vests that allowed folks to stay safely buoyed near the surface by choice, or to deflate and dive down to explore turtle caves and bottom-dwellers if they wanted to. Swells were pretty calm during the morning tour, and the crew keeps ginger pills and ginger ale handy in case anyone needed some stabilizing remedies. We sat out front on the bow of the ship, where it was windy and a bit wet with splashes, but it also allowed us to see flying fish, take great photos, and develop our sea legs. Bring a hat that can withstand gusts so you can protect yourself from too much sun, and bring a few layers that can dry out quickly to help keep you warm on cooler AM tours. Totally recommend this tour and this team.

An amazing Hawaii snorkeling experience! Soooo many awesome pictures of many different fish, dolphins and a whale sighting. The hot food was delicious. I didn't drink but alcohol is served as well. The staff was so personable and helpful.

An outstanding day on the water with Ocean Joy Cruises. Excellent care and attention by the entire team. Saw whales breaching and blowing off the coast - spectacular! And beautiful fish and a green sea turtle during our snorkeling break. The team provided safety briefing and monitored us in the water. Wrapped up with a delicious Hawaiian lunch and the option for adult beverages. A memorable trip - highly recommend.

Maloha, Oh my goodness this excursion was AMAZING from beginning to end. The staff was friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and very encouraging. My family and I have never snorkeled before and the crew made us feel like we knew what we were doing. The scenery was so beautiful the boat ride was awesome, the drinks, food, and the ocean animals were amazing. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Can’t forget the photographer she is AWESOME. The entire crew was great and knowledgeable. Prices very reasonable.

Morning calm cruise and crew were nothing but amazing!!🤩. Within the first 15 minutes, whales were spotted. Captain and crew were so friendly and helpful. Catamaran was very clean and organized…a very fun and relaxing morning with lots of nature…whales, turtles, many fish, pin cushion sand dollar, and spinner dolphins! Food and drinks were tasty as well! A must-do, in my opinion!

Absolutely the coolest snorkel experience ever. Within the first 20 minutes of being on board we were greeted by a pod of humpback whales! One baby was even extremely eager to say hello. He continued to breach multiple times right in front of us. On top of this, we had an amazing snorkel with sea turtles and all kinds of fish! Finally we had an incredible traditional Hawaiian meal that was delicious in every possible way. Would 1000% go back and use ocean joy again and would highly recommend this experience. An incredible part of Oahu and worth the drive from Waikiki! The crew was also phenomenal as well!!

The crew was awesome! Long time out on the water with an hour in the water! The crew was very knowledgeable about the area and very aware of the surroundings. We saw a of of Hawaiian spinner dolphins with a calf and they came within 10 feet of the boat! Lifelong dream fulfilled! In addition to that we saw tons of fish, a good number of sea turtles, a spotted eel, and a white tipped reef shark! The lunch they served was delicious as well! True Hawaiian experience as far as a guided snorkel trip goes. Loved it and would absolutely book again!

We had the best time during our afternoon adventure!! We managed to see over 50 spinner and bottlenose dolphins and swam with 2 huge sea turtles and lots of fish! The staff was fun and very friendly. The food and drinks hit the spot and the photos they capture with their photographer are beautiful! Especially the ones in the water. Can’t wait to come back and go again one day! Highly recommend taking one of their excursions!

Captain Doug and the crew were amazing. Snorkeling for my first time with a Rare Disease and muscle weakness called Pompe, they helped walking around the catamaran. There were 2 handrails with steps into the water and a 3 step ladder in the water to help climb out of the water and into the catamaran. They provided mask, snorkel, fins, safety vest and a pool noodle for extra flotation. The cruise was very smooth and I felt very comfortable being on the catamaran. It was the best experience on our vacation. Highly recommend Ocean Joy Cruises!

This is such an amazing experience! The crew were so friendly and so much fun. The boat was very high class. Nice soft flooring for your feet. They gave a great snorkeling experience. The photo package was amazing and well worth the money. The food was great! 10 out of 10 all around!

A wonderful tour but would have been fantastic if the dolphins and whales appeared. Ironically, I was told that the dolphins sleep in the morning so why have a morning tour? I was delighted to see a sea turtle. The staff members were super friendly and sparked great conversation. The food and drinks were extremely tasty. I would recommend an afternoon tour.

Had a blast attending the sunset dinner sail with my mom. Not sure if it’s the same during the holidays/the summer, but parking was readily available without reserving ahead of time, though having that option provided via the email confirmation is good to know. Parking is about $17 including taxes and can be prepaid and reserved the day of. The inside is spacious and very comfy. There was only about 15 of us not including the crew of 4. The photographer they have is great! Packages are $40 and you get photos emailed to you from before boarding, on the boat, and even in the water (didn’t swim personally). You can even preview the photos before purchase and it’s digital copies. Food was delicious, and had plenty of drink options both soft drink and alcohol. I inhaled the bread pudding before I took a picture it was so good. Highly recommend, and plan on coming back 😁

Great group of young adults running the excursion we were on. No turtles, dolphins or anything overly amazing but lots of black and white fish, yellow fish and brilliant blue fish. Just the luck of the draw. Beautiful day. Good and plentiful food and drinks. Very helpful and accommodating staff. I’m mildly disabled and they were wonderful to me. We will be doing this one again for sure!

We had an awesome sunrise snorkel tour with Ocean Joy Cruises. It was relaxing and well organized, the crew was great. They provided yummy bread pudding and drinks shortly after we were on our way and plenty of food for lunch on the way back. The boat was clean and well kept. The crew was helpful and fun. We was able to to see sea turtles and dolphins on our tour, not to mention lots of beautiful fish while snorkeling. They provided swim vests, fins, snorkels and masks for everyone, it was a great experience for us. Creating memories.

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. Food and drinks were excellent, the catamaran was comfortable and easy to move around and watch the wildlife. We got to see monk seals and dolphins. Most of our party loves to snorkel, but one in our party did not and we both still had a blast. I could have stayed in the ocean all day. The on board photographer was very nice, knowledgeable and took great pictures at a very reasonable price. Strongly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a way to enjoy a wonderful relaxing morning on a boat.

Food was great. On time departure. Crew were super nice. The dolphins were amazing. They seemed to be trained to show off..lol!! Snorkeling was fantastic. Sunset was spectacular!

Great adventure! The entire crew was friendly and went out of their way to make sure all guests had a great experience. On the sunset snorkeling tour, the captain found spinner dolphins that swam right next to the boat as shown in photos. Snorkeling was fun but not a lot of fish to see that day. A turtle made a quick appearance. They allowed us to use our own gear for anyone that has it. Dinner and alcoholic drinks are served around 6:15 (or when snorkeling ends for safety reasons), and the food was great. Generous portions of hot food and plenty left for anyone that wants seconds. Bring a change of clothes so you are dry for the ride home. It got a little chilly on the water once the sun went down. I hesitated at first because I could not find a coupon and am on a budget. After adding $10 for parking and $35 (21%) to tip the crew, it is pricey. Overall, it was worth every penny. Hopefully others have the same luck finding dolphins and enjoy it as much as I did! Mahalo!

Absolutely incredible! Staff was professional and super friendly. The location was not crowded at all and full of wild-life, including a few sea turtles, giant blowfish and dolphins!!!! Gear was properly sanitized, vessel itself is very well kept and plenty large enough for the event. The food was amazing and the open bar was a great cherry on top for an overall phenomenal trip.

This was the best cruise and snorkel experience. The crew was so friendly and welcoming. They were helpful and really wanted you to get the most out of the experience. We saw dolphins, turtles, sea-stars and plenty of beautiful fish. I would highly recommended it to anyone. Also, I will be returning in the future. I love that they weren’t begging for tips or more money. The crew was really just out to show us a great time! And they give an option to buy pictures at the end, but not pushy! The pictures were amazing! And the food was delish!

The snorkeling sunset cruise we did was well worth the money! We saw a pack of dolphins that swam alongside our boat for a good long time, a beautiful snorkeling spot with turtles and the most awesome sunset that I’ve ever seen! The food and drinks were great, and all of the staff were knowledgeable, hard working and super friendly!! I would definitely recommend this trip!!!

We loved this tour so much! The captain and crew were amazing - so helpful and very kind! We saw multiple whales, lots of dolphins, sea turtles, beautiful fish, even rainbows... everything you could have wanted for our first Hawaiian boat excursion! The boat was so smooth and the food and drinks wonderful. They even had a great photographer on board and in the water to capture the trip start to finish! Would highly recommend!
