We are new DVC members, 1st year actually, this is our home resort and we’ll be canceling. The vacation club villas are outdated and there are many services lacking. The ocean views are subpar and obstructed. Sincerely this should be a 3 star resort, 4 star for kids because of all the amenities offered for children. There is no kids daycare center anymore, there is no adults only pool anymore, all the pools and hot tubs are extremely chlorinated, for the price you pay on the rooms you would expect salt water amenities. There is no room service at all, not even for water, the espresso bar has bad coffee, the only decent restaurant AMA AMA is closed indefinitely and all of the remaining restaurants and pool food options are really really bad quality. The gym is constantly really packed and stuffy/ it’s a box, no windows at all just a room and filled with teenage cast members who are fighting over gym equipment. I wish I was kidding. There is no housekeeping service- every 4 days they offer a turn down service and we didn’t even receive that. You have to fight for towels for the pool area- truly there’s not enough towels, not enough seats, etc, and we went in the off-season where there is the least people at the resort! I can’t even imagine if this was during peak. The two stars are for the spa- absolutely incredible, and the Luau, truly beautiful.

The resort is beautiful with plenty of attractions for the family. Don't expect any pool or chair policies to be enforced though. They had kids in the adult spas and every chair was saved by people that weren't even around. The breakfast with characters was amazing big Thanks to whoever played Minnie mouse my daughter love it. Definitely will come back with lower expectations for the attraction staff. Hotel staff was amazing very knowledgeable and helpful, but the lifeguards don't know anything about the park.

This Is a nice hotel. A bit overpriced on food for what you get even for a Disney resort. Pools are all very nice. The Beach is super nice for the kids.

The 1-bedroom garden view villa was amazing. Amenities included a full kitchen, laundry and great views. The resort itself has awesome pools, hot tubs and a lazy river. The food options are very tasty and of course you can meet a few of your favorite Disney characters. Many events available throughout the day and into the evening. We really enjoyed the fireside story time with Uncle.

Went to dinner at AMA AMA. Food was delicious 4 course meal. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time! Beautiful scenery. Live music.

We had a great time! We have 3 girls who love the water, sand and sun so this was perfect. We rarely left the resort, they had everything! Since we had a rental car we did get out and explore though. The Villas, being truly like a home away from home, made it easy for us to grab groceries, stock up and cook there. Looking forward to going there again soon!

This was our 5th trip to Aulani. This is a beautiful resort with a lazy River, 3 pools and a great view for the sunset. The rooms are clean and staff is very accommodating. It is not our “home” DVC resort, making booking very difficult and stressful to coordinate flight and hotel with only a 7 month booking window. We often have to be on the waiting list to get all our nights and take the gamble we will get them. We usually do but it’s constant checking the site and being willing to settle for a view or room type you may not have wanted. My only disappointment is they no longer give you leis when you check in, nor do they have the baskets of plumeria flowers by the door to take one each day. We’ll go back in another 2 years and battle for the reservation.

Wonderful hotel and absolutely beautiful, ruined by a few very bad services. The bed was horrible for such expensive prices. Out of 3 hotels I stayed at this trip, this was the worst bed for a premium room The adult only infinity pool constantly had kids going in and no staff supervision to stop them. Out of the 6 days I stayed, I only saw staff walk by once through the area to check on things. Pool chairs were never checked either. I kept an eye out especially on busy day like Saturday and Sunday and noticed chairs that had towels with them and no one went to them for several hours when the policy was an hour max if you don't return. Throughout my 6 days, I only saw staff checking and removing towels on chairs only once, and it wasn't even the busy day. Photo pass experience was horrendous and absolutely killed any ideas of coming back. Waited an hour for a photo pass picture, by the hour mark, it was the 2nd set of back to back characters now. Because the line had gotten so long, they decided to first move the character to a different location with a generic brown wall behind instead of the nice koi pond advertised. Then they decided to make 1 picture only per family to speed things up. The photographer took it literally as snapping only 1 single picture for photo pass and moving on... all this after waiting an hour in line. Complaining to front desk about the poor service, the response was, we will have dual characters again tomorrow from this time to so and so. So the answer to the problem.... is to go wait in line again? Yeah I think I'm done with this place.

This place is great. There is so much to do in the resort for the whole family. The day camp for the kids is great. The location is excellent close to the amazing beach and away from the business of Honolulu. The kids loved the breakfast with the characters and the food was really good. I will definitely go back again!

Great place to find out about DVC and if you are a DVC member check in for free swag, and the Aulani Passport where you can get free stuff everyday and learn a new Hawaiian word! We love being DVC members bc they never pressure us/anyone to buy like other timeshares. They are always super friendly and easygoing.

We went to the 3-bedroom villa during its open house. If you’re taking a large group to Oahu, this is the place to stay with them. Make a Costco run and stock up! The view is awesome and so are the spaces. The room sleeps 12, but there’s an extra foldout that could make it a baker’s dozen. If you get a chance to take a tour or even stay here, please do.

There is a big construction in the site. They didn’t inform us before our arrival. We called guest service about complaint but they don’t care. You can find quite and better places to stay next to here. Beach is public and use if you like

Aulani is gorgeous, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is good to be aware before arrival that public transportation is not easily accessible or is pricier as Aulani is more remote from more populated areas of Oahu, and plan accordingly. That said, there is quite a bit to do on property, and it was nwonderful to just relax in such beautiful surroundings and enjoy the pools and grounds.

If you looking a vacation to get rest and relax this place might be a terrible choice. There is a huge construction next to the beach and pool. We called here before we arrive to confirm whethere there is a construction. They said there was not. We paid $1000/night and that was the worst vacation ever. Do not trust guest services. They lie about construction. You can go to Los Angeles and listen the construction noise for free.

We are Disney Vacation Club members from California who pretty much always prefer to go to Au Lani. Disney is handling post-covid a lot better than many other places in my opinion. on this trip, for example, auntie's Beach House was open again, most shacks and stores were open, and when you ask the front desk for something, someone will arrive in less than 5 minutes. The lagoon is great fun, and the pool and slides and lazy river are as good as ever. if you want to take advantage of events and crafts and auntie's Beach House, just make sure that you research beforehand because you can't just show up and use them.

I have visited Aulani, Disney Vacation Club multiple times for weekend visits. The front staff at the door was incredible being very polite, cheerful, helpful and very organized. Just the process of unloading the car and having the valet take over the responsibility for your car was a gray way to start the vacation. I usually spend my time on an outdoor ocean facing balcony watching the activities below and the sunsets which are spectacular. Costco, super markets, theaters are only a 15 minute drive from the resort. Definitely a great place to vacation on Oahu.
