1C Coffee is a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop located in Kapitolyo, Philippines. "Kape, kalye, kuwentuhan, Kapitolyo" it says on their IG bio, and that’s exactly what you get. The cafe brings a unique and interesting experience, with a strong focus on community and quality. The cafe is not only a place to enjoy a cup of coffee, but also a place to hang out with friends and meet new people. I ordered the Sea Salt Honey espresso drink with Oat Milk. It tasted so good! Will definitely be back to try more. One of the things that stood out during my visit was the owners' (they’re 3 sisters) passion for coffee. They were more than happy to explain the different brewing methods and let us taste new brews. As someone who is not an avid coffee drinker/connoisseur, I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the different types of coffee and how they are made. The coffee itself was delicious, with a variety of options from different countries available to suit different tastes. The atmosphere at 1C Coffee is also noteworthy, with a cozy and inviting interior and a friendly and welcoming vibe. It is a great spot to relax and unwind, whether you're a coffee lover or just looking for a place to hang out with friends. Overall, 1C Coffee is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique coffee experience and a chance to connect with the coffee community in Kapitolyo.

I had granola cookie and iced pour-over coffee at this place as an after-meal cap. Coffee variety was recommended by staff and it did not disappoint. True to the cafe’s tag line “Kape at Kwentuhan,” the staff were very passionate about sharing their love for coffee and making their new customers feel welcome. The cafe has a small space, but decorated in a kitschy manner, which gives the place its charm.

Great coffee here and good company. Met a few interesting folk in the cafe and will definitely be around back. Ilike the community. Highly recommended. Try the honey latte and the orange espresso

Great coffee!!! And even better Matcha - an underrated product on their menu. Their bagels could have been toasted more though but a must go-to spot for coffee!

Newly discovered cafe in the quiet suburbs of Kapitolyo. Gonna give the hat to my friend for showing me this place. Small place, but it’s just enough for a few friends to chitchat with or have an intimate staring contest with your partner. Loved the pain au chocolat. Just wait until that warm chocolate filling sits on your mouth and you will melt. Of course, a better way to add to this visit is being surrounded with an amazing staff. Adored her bucket hat with a sun. Cafe is definitely discreet, but not intimidating even for an introvert like me. The ambience is industrial and you can feel a sense of belongingness here. Just like how that pain au chocolat warmly hugs on your tongue. Nom nom nom. Will I revisit? Of course! My cat would definitely like this place.

New cafe in the quieter side of Kapitolyo. They have limited seating inside the store but there’s benches and bike parking outside. I ordered the iced sea salt honey latte, cup was on the brighter side than I expected.

Passed by this cafe for the 1st time to get a quick lunch before heading to a work meeting nearby. They didn’t have food that day because of a food pop-up outside (which was pretty decent naman). I hope they had more seats because I had to wait for people to leave before I could sit down, but generally good/simple ambiance, cold a/c, good flavored coffee, and very friendly staff.

True to its word, 1C excels in both kape at kwentuhan. More than anything, the service and hospitality that you get is impeccable. The baristas' warm and inviting approach to specialty coffee, plus the wonderul community surrounding it is what always brings me back. They also bring in the best local and international beans, so make sure to get a hand-brewed cup if you can. Other notable favorites are their Sea Salt Honey and Lemonspresso.

Great place to get coffee as a biker. Good place to sit and chat for a while, not exactly a place to lounge long hours by design. Affordable and great selection of coffees, eats and more. Friendly staff

If you're looking for genuinely great coffee in Kapitolyo then this is the place to go. No frills. There's even no air con. Just coffee, some pastries and a couple tables. The service was awesome too. I recommend trying out their Sea Salt Honey coffee. We go them iced. Too good. 👌

More of a biker's cafe. Not a lot of seating options because people tend to sit outside next to the bike rack. Iced americano is a bit on the citrusy side but cappuccino is on point.

Great ambiance and lovely interiors. They have some of the best Americanos I've tried. Globe signal here can be quite spotty but Smart has 5G so that's nice. They're definitely going for a modern instagrammable aesthetic with coffee blends that's up there among the best. The entrance seems quite nondescript, just like any other residential house, but inside is where you see how it's simple, cozy, and a great place to spend your time.

Very cool independent coffee shop. Good coffee and friendly owner. Definitely a place where locals go to. Worth going out of your way to have good coffee rather than going to a chain.

Probably my mistake to get their tea offerings instead of their coffee but I had high expectations for 1c Coffee and they were not exactly met in terms of food. Got the Lemon & Kumquat refresher and it was just ok a bit watered down and lacking in flavor. Still giving them an overall rating of 4/5 stars simply because the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and the ambiance was nice and chill. The next time I visit I’ll be sure to try their coffee.
