The studio room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure is strong enough to actually enjoy your showers. It's located near a nice neighborhood that's surprisingly quiet given that there are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. They seem to rush their room cleaning services. I noticed that they only change towels, fix the bed, take out the trash, and replenish the usable items. Not a whole lot of cleaning. Although the room looked organized afterwards, it still looked used or dirty. Limited selection for their breakfast buffet, and meats were mostly processed ones for most of the days during my stay. You have to ask the waiters to get you coffee or tea instead of getting it yourself which would be a lot quicker. Their juices are extremely sweet and artificial. Overall, you get the impression it's a cheap breakfast buffet and doesn't live up to the reputation or luxury of the hotel.

With total honestly, I can say it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, I felt very happy and welcomed. The entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, well designed, and spacious. The facilities had all new equipments, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. I wish I had the chance to visit the spa, which I’m sure judging by what I saw, would’ve been infallible. In short, it exceeded everything I was looking for and it excited me to revisit Makati just to be here again. 💐

Francis the security guy, Roxanne in the checkout counter, and the morning staff that were great as well. We are very thankful for the hospitality, we had a great time in the hotel. All the staff, with no exception were professional and nice. One thing I can say is that if you want to book for a good price, book directly through their website and sign up for their membership(it's free). The location is great, the only thing I didn't like is their breakfast. It's better than other hotels in our trip, but I've had better in Davao. For westerners, it's not enough. I want to see yellow cheese(as found in the supermarket), salads and not just cut vegetables, I want to see chocolate spread as an option. There's more to improve in that front. Other than that, great place to stay, close to many places in Makati, easily accessible(not in rush hours).

I have stayed in the Sommerset for 3 months while on a business trip. The location is epic, walking distance to anything you could ever need - great restaurants, hairdressers, spa services, supermarkets etc. Rooms are extremely comfortable and nice especially for long stays. The pool is amazing! Gym has all the basics. Everything is very clean, modern and tidy. But for myself, the best thing about the Sommerset was the staff. Special shout out to Jhomel, Francis, Ronnie and Rod - you guys put a smile on our face every single day, so warm, kind and service led, making us feel so well looked after and the place a home away from home. I will miss seeing your smiles and warm greetings everyday. Thank you for taking such good care of us team!

I agree with other commenters that hotel Restaurant need improvement, I’ve been to restaurant’s breakfast buffet few times, it’s very basic and mostly is pork dishes, No kitchen/beef/vegetable, I find this discriminatory to ppl who has dietary requirements. If you have dietary requirement, Somerset’s breakfast buffet is not an option for you. But that true and it happened to me twice and complained to hotel staff this time. On positive note, hotel is clean, staff is superb/welcoming. The night Guard Ronnie and colleagues are very welcoming.

Very nice hotel that offers many amenities such as a gym and pool. The team of Ronnie, Lhaine and Clarence offered us excellent service during check-in and check-out, helping with our luggage etc. Super friendly staff. Room was very nice and clean and has everything you need. Location of the hotel is good. Only a few minutes drive to multiple malls. Also has a 7-Eleven right across the street.

This is one of the best hotel that I experienced! Their staff is so welcoming, and their food is so exceptional, it is mouth watering when after taking the food. The spa is relaxing that could remove all your stress. Moreover, they have new equipments that could satisfy your stay in this hotel. Cannot wait to be back again here next time with my friends.

It's the best hotel I've ever been to and same goes to my boyfriend. The service is superb. From the front desk to other hotel staffs. They're always smiling and very approachable. The room is spacious and it's fully equipped. You can do your laundry or cook. The area is also safe even at night and the security makes sure you didn't leave anything when you get off the car/grab. I recommend this hotel and will come back again.

The place is decent and rooms are clean. It has a good location also if you are in Makati. I stayed here for one night for a company function and the check in and checkout process is efficient.

Held a business-related activity here. The place was spacious and had great facilities. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodated us well. The big conference room had a very small, heavy door though, not even a two-panel door. Had to help out waiters carrying food/china as they tried to get in since there was only one entrance. The location was also confusing for many of us with private vehicle since it's a one-way street towards the place.

This hotel offers excellent value. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped and the pool and gym are modern and clean. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly throughout the hotel and it makes the hotel standout from its competition.

Everyone here made my stay here better than I could have ever imagined. No matter the time of day, no matter the request, everyone was more than happy to accommodate. Stayed here for close to two weeks on a family vacation. We opted for the three bedroom apartment. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are great, well maintained and modern. The location was great for us: everything we needed within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The only negative for us was the rather limited and basic breakfast buffet.

Went there on a business trip and the facilities were really worth my while. Eco-friendly place to the minuscule details, like organic soaps? Wow. It was definitely a plus that in some rooms you can also cook small meals, and even thou I did not cook it can be a useful for people with dietary restrictions. Impeccable customer service and the location cannot be more convenient than the middle of Makati where everything you need or crave is just around the corner. Would recommend it to anybody.

I love every staff in this place, Ronnie who always smile and willing to help with cabs and making sure people who walk in are secured and welcomed. Jennifer and other staff at Nona cafe who are always attentive to our needs especially breakfast. I do have to request for tea everytime which they nee to pick from 1st floor? Amenities are great. Gym, pool and the room with machine machine are the best. Thank you everyone!

4.5/5 so far this is one of the best staycation I really enjoyed. The room was excellent. 2 in 1 home and a hotel. Highly recommended. Why not 5? its because of the breakfast. I don't mind if they have few choices its just majority of the food is not so good :(.

I love this place, the room feels like an upgraded and compact version of a house. You get almost all of the appliance you will need for an extended stay, with the luxury of staying in a hotel with room service. The location can be tricky during rush hour especially as the hotel is inside Makati which is full of one way streets.

It's a nice place. They offered a 2 bedroom suite that could accommodate my family of five, one having to sleep on the couch. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were very clean and modern. Our room had a filtered water dispenser, which i really liked. Other places i stayed at would only have 2 small bottles of water. All the staff were helpful and friendly. It's located in a nice area of Manila close to lots of restaurants. I thought it good value for my family of five.

Stayed here for a couple days and the staff were amazing (front desk, security) (Ronnie, Rod, May, Roxane, and others whose name we have missed). The apartment, and the swimming pool were breathtaking. Would definitely come back! The place felt homey even though we stayed for a bit. We had a great stay! The staff are all very helpful; special thanks to Ronnie, Jom, Hydene and Dave. Rooms are well furnished not only with the basic housekeeping needs, but also dishes, appliances, even drinking water etc. The breakfast spread is okay, nothing fancy. I prefer the breakfast spread in Somerset Aguirre branch. Overall, we had a great stay! My dog had fun too and the staff were very fond of her :) Thanks for making us feel at home 💕

We decided to stay here for one night on Dec 24 after cancelling our trip to Bataan. One of the best hotels we’ve been to! Service is superb and they offer free breakfast too. Rooms are clean and they provide everything you need (including laundry soap!). When we ordered Grab food- the reception offered to bring them up to our room so we didn’t have to go down. We loved the service so much here that we ended up cancelling our airbnb that we’re supposed to stay at today so we can enjoy this hotel more.

Somerset central is a great place. Cleanest and safest. Staffs are truely great, always supportive and always smiling. Hospitality is at its best. I would like to specially appreciate miss Rea, who does housekeeping at floor 10. She is humble and polite. She does her job perfectly and makes sure the required things are in place.

Stayed in their 3 bedroom apt on top floor; very clean and spacious. Hotel staff very pleasant, especially Jennifer from the restaurant. Exemplary customer service skills on her part. Parking was tight but overall a great experience!
