☆ Ooma restaurant in Bonifacio Global City exceeded all my expectations. ☆ The Crowd Favorite Mixer was a roll of fresh and creative flavors that left me wanting more. ☆ The Katsudon featured a perfectly cooked crispy pork cutlet with a rich sauce that satisfied my taste buds. ☆ The Salmon Tataki was a revelation with tender slices and a delightful smoky flavor. ☆ The attentive staff and impeccable service added to the overall exceptional experience. Ooma is a must-visit for a memorable culinary adventure. Five stars all the way!

Yummy, tasty salmon skin maki! I think I'll try the other makis next time. the kani salad and chicken teriyaki are okay- bit salty, too much dressing/sauce. Slow service due to few staff.. Pandemic effects

Convenient and enjoyable. Ooma derves dishes that would make your heart joyful. Every spoonful of grub is tasty and savory. The crew was also attentive and cordial. If anything, they have huge servings that would make you crave other flavors.

Love the food here especially their Truffle Steak Maki😋😍. Good to try their other dishes too like tempura🍤, udon🍜, ramen and curry (but expect this one a bit spicy but not spicier than Indian curry). Their chahan is just so-so. Not able to order their Hanger Steak...but this is one of their best here 😉

Will never get tired of their Sushi/maki Mixers ever! Sarap talaga. Tho more on the $$$ but it’s worth it. Love their Kani salad too.. cos it has real crab bits. Sweet and savory! Tho I sooo love their food, but their customer service needs a lot of improvement ;( It’s really slow. They need to add more staff cos we saw many customers constantly raise their hands to get noticed (for updates on order or additional favors) but it does take a while. The staff are too busy:( They are nice and friendly, but tooooooo busy :(

The food is quite delicious. I recommend tofu and rice bowls. The miso soup is a bit salty to me, but the whole thing is delicious, and the merchant has actually checked the vaccine card, which is good.

Giving this branch 2 stars. It should’ve been 1 but the waitress apologized and admitted that they forgot to make our order. The place isn’t full, there were only 4-5 tables present to serve, so a 45 min waiting time for our food is unacceptable (which later we found out they really forgot to take note of our order). One contributing reason for this bad service could be their awefully LOUD music inside. Not sure but that could be a reason. I was able to record it hoping to add it in this review but apparently I can only add photos. The food was good though (maybe because of the 45 minute wait). So all in all, I wouldn’t recommend this branch. I hope management get to read this. Would help them improve a lot in their service too.

If you’re looking for aburi style Japanese, Ooma is it. Recommending the hangers steak and any of the sushi rolls. Chirashi is just sad. There’s more oily tempura crisps than the sashimi itself.

Food was pretty good, I'd come back to have good japanese food but service was terrible, the servers are always in a hurry to do something else and don't even look at the customers and don't let them finish speaking. Service was very slow and the manager was eating with some people instead of managing the place. I had to go to the cashier myself to pay for the bill and the one handling the machine just looked at me and took my card from me without even asking me if she could take it or what I was doing there. Atmosphere was sorta okay.

The food is good and reasonable for its price. They have al fresco area. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The serving is actually big, you can share it. The food presentation is also good. The area is clean.

Main reason why I go back for dine-in is to order soft-shell crab taco maki. Best item in their menu especially that aligue mayo. Tried bara chirashi don which was surprisingly good. Also tried garlic steak -- also good but we didn't like the oyster mushrooms as they were too oily. Skip the spicy tuna sashimi and oyster aburi maki.

Super enjoyed the food. They just took a little longer to serve the sushi but everything else was great

Tried the Tsukemen with Hot Soba compared to my usual Tsukemen Gyokai. Pork slices in the dip were delicious. Soba was too spicy for my liking. Kani Salad was ok.

We eat here from time to time. Their sushi is really good. The hangar steak gets less and less served everytime we eat here lol. The weird thing is that their staff rest area is also a dining area (where they just put a barrier or divider to make a room). Will still come back here though.

We got the shrimp chahan, chicken teriyaki, kimchi gyoza, and salmon katsu. The food was super flavorful and some have a really unique taste! I highly recommend this place if you want something different, but if you’re sensitive to strong flavors this might not be for you. Service was great and servers were attentive ☺️ Dined here around 1-2pm, the place was really noisy and I personally got overstimulated, but stayed because I really wanted to try out the food. The lighting inside is strong too, light fixtures are like spotlights. Another warning for people who might be sensitive to this. Overall, great food! Not the best place to go to if you want an intimate date though haha, better if you come in here with the purpose of trying new things :>

I have been quite a few times and it's always good experience everytime. The food was delicious, the ambiance is amazing and the service was fast. Staff were nice and friendly. It could be crowded at times so you have to be there early for lunch or dinner. They have chairs outside the restaurant but we prefer to dine inside. Highly recommended.

Good food. Just enough servings. Plus factor is the al fresco dining area.

Really love the Chirashi Bara bowl, Unagi Bowl, Tori Udon, and the Marinated Salmon. Definitely worth the visit and something to go back too. Although it might be a little pricey. Chirashi Bara Bowl had such an interesting mix of fresh cut tuna and salmon and Unagi with a piece of Uni. Their tempura was also really good and also the mix Aburi Maki. We also tried the Tsukemen and it was clean but really tasty.

First I like the staff they are so friendly and serves you what you beed. Secondly For the food i ordered ebitempura which has amazing taste and crisps, beef chanan rice is a bit salty but its alright, for the maki i ordered the crowds favorite ( price is right for the amount and taste) the most amazing is their lychee and yakult ❤️💯love it.

This restaurant is a usual go to when I go back to the Philippines. They serve Japanese food with a modern twist fit for those who want to try something new. Their hangar steak is really good and is highly recommended. Their menu is mostly in English and they accept local and foreign credit cards.

One of our favorite restaurants for dates and gatherings. I love the food here and how they present it. Plating is always amazing and the taste is so fresh and fulfilling. It might be pricey but it’s totally worth it!

The interior is alright. The place has Japanese features with a mix of western vibes. Now to the food. Gyu Katsu Curry was good (not the best, but definitely Japanese Curry). Serving was fair for the price. There were a few mini potato marble surprises. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The crowd favorite maki was definitely worth it for 600+. You could taste the different makis in one order. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (No dip) This is the second time we ate here and definitely a good choice for Japanese food when you're in highstreet.

It was my 2nd to eat at Ooma — my last one was around 2018. So, prior eating, I forgot how the food tastes like. As usual, there’s a queue but waiting time is not that long. We ordered ebi tempura, the platter (crowd favorite, aburi), chicken karaage, beef udon, kani salad, lychee juice and matcha juice. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience. Foods were served 10-15 minutes.

Dishes are freaking oily, and the umami taste is really odd and strong, unnatural umami flavor. One of the rice dishes I ordered which has tuna, salmon, baby octo and floss, is really oily, salty and not refreshing at all. They put too much floss to cut the portion of the seafood, I did not even finish the dish. The agedashi tofu is too citrusy/acidic that you cannot taste the dashi stock/tsuyu broth. I put 2 stars because service is ok and the soft shell crab appetizer is the only dish I like.

Dear The Moment Group, My family and I love your chain of restaurants; from Manam to Din Tai Fung, and Ooma. We even bought a Moment Card. Your branches in SM Fairview and Megamall have great service but this particular OOMA branch in BGC is the WORST. 57 minutes waiting time for everything to be served. YES. 57 minutes! I decided to bring my friends here for a get together. I confidently chose Ooma kasi alam ko hindi ako mapapahiya sa pagkain. Hindi nga ako napahiya sa food, pero sa waiting time naman ako nadale. We ordered the following: ✔️ Tori Karaage ✔️ Ebi Tempura ✔️ Hanger Steak ✔️ Oyakodon ✔️ Cheese Katsu Curry Don ✔️ Mochi & Matcha Cheesecake The Karaage arrived 23 minutes after our order was taken. After 10 minutes, some of the food arrived. I had to make numerous follow-ups and after a total of 45 minutes of waiting, we still don't have our complete order. They told me to wait 3 minutes more for the Cheese Katsu Curry Don, but it arrived after 10 minutes+. 57 minutes after the order was taken, our food was complete. My bad, maybe I should have asked how long the waiting time was. The lady who took our order did not give us a heads up too so we thought all is well. In fairness, the food is really good. Due to the long waiting time, everything went cold. Before the last meal was served, we decided to go ahead and eat. I don't know what went wrong. Kulang ba sa staff or management issue? I've read some of the reviews here and it looks like some had long waiting times as well. I have never experienced waiting for almost an hour for my whole order to be served. Plus another 25 minutes for the cheesecake, wow. The long wait time is really not the main issue here because other restos have busy times too. But maybe you could have changed the whole experience if you have just set the right expectations and have better customer service. Don't leave your customers hanging.

Never expected this. When I first entered this Japanese restaurant, what struck me was that it was pretty small. But after tasting what we ordered - Abu mixer, Hanger steak, Beef chahan and their Ebi tempura... Oh man, forget the size. The joint might be small but their food flavor and taste were massive. Four spoons out of five.

If I will rate the food alone I will give it a 5-star rating. The only thing is the service. Its a bit slow considering the place is not full when we came. Anyway we all enjoyed their food. We ordered maki mixer, crowd favorites, soft shell crab taco-maki, beef and tori udon. My favorite is their maki and sushi rolls. Its really good and each have different flavor profile and texture.

We went there on a Friday night, a day after the salary, so we expected there would be a lot of people. And boy oh boy, there were heaps. Even though there were a lot of people, surprisingly, our orders arrived quickly. So we had several dishes, as seen in the picture, and they all arrived fairly quickly. The food! The crowd favorite - this was a blast. We also ordered several wraps which were already on this plate and we all loved it. The texture was good, the taste was great and if I wasn't too conscious of the rice intake, I'd eat more! Hanger Steak - this was the best! The beef was soft, thinly sliced and was very delicious. The cheese was also amazing. And when you combine the cheese, potato slice and the beef - just amazing! The Tempura - I'm sorry but I'm not a fan. Not only did this one come in late, but the breading didn't taste good. It would have been okay probably if when I had my first bite I also had a bite of the shrimp but no. First bite, all breading. I'm also not a fan of the soy sauce for this one. I think the way they cook the Tempura is the same for all the branches because it was the same experience in Makati. Overall, this place was amazing, see I still gave it a 5 star. If you want to come here, come in early. If you arrive at 6 pm, good luck.

Great moments...better food... try it out DEC 2019 - BACK with the kids... they loved the food and requested to visit the place soon Do you like the pictures and have a similar experience? Kindly click like. 👍

Service experience with them was bad. Sushi without the soy sauce was already very salty. Tuna was not fresh. Food taste did not taste Japanese in any way. To me, with the bad service and quality of food... It was not worth the hype and wait.

Looking at the overall rating and some reviews it's clear that many people don't know how proper Japanese / Asian fusion food should taste 1. The beer was warm - sure we asked for ice, but that waters down the flavour. Cold beer in BCG? It's not difficult, just lazy 2. The pork loin - over-cooked and dry with a mediocre un-Japanese watery sauce. Really? Very very dry and tasteless 3. Crispy chicken terriaki - not very crispy and over-powering dominant taste of rosemary. This is NOT terriaki flavour. Zero actual true terriaki flavour 4. Maki - okay - not authentic but edible if hungry Nobody asked how our food was Zero management supervision or interest and chefs allowed to use filipino-style over-cooked meat processes Truly this is a lazy, poorly supervised, un-interested experience There must (?) be much more inspiring places

Ever wondered how Japanese food would taste like if it had a Filipino touch? It's the only way I can describe how the food here tastes like. Visited them on a Saturday night. Aircon was dripping, service needed more than an hour to serve our food! I honestly can't recommend this place to anyone.

  • 4/5 Abigail T. 4 years ago on Google
This place has been around for quite some time and yet, there's always a queue. That speaks a lot about a restaurant. Ooma is a good place to find your modern Japanese fix. Since the place is always packed, they don't take reservations and make sure your party is complete while queueing. Otherwise, you can't go in. Acoustics is bad- not a good place for a quiet evening but good for family and friends 😄.
