its just a show business, the heart is missing. Costs 900/- per person in the AC cruise "Alaknanda". They serve tea, cookies & water but initial presentation with the celebrity list is very boring and also though the staff says not to disturb the fellow passengers, incase a big group boards the staff doesnt tell them not to make noise. I personally feel, its better to get into an entire country boat (total 1200/- to 1500/-) instead of @900/- in the cruise, the beauty could be enjoyed to hearts' content.

Cruise was great. They give you very memorable experience. You get to see all 84 ghats beauty both in daylight as well as in the night. That experience of seeing the ghats with the lighting is truly mesmerizing.

Alaknanda Cruise A very well maintained ship, impressive. We went for the morning and evening cruises both. The morning one is special for sure, as you can see the rising Sun and enjoy all the ghats in bright light. The commentary on all the ghats in English and Hindi is very informative. The morning cruise has a fixed seating and you can go to the upper deck which is covered once the ship starts to move. Tea coffee and a bottle of mineral water is given to every passenger before the ship starts sailing. They ask to reach half an hour early, maybe to avoid extra rush and crowding. 15 minutes is fine! The place where the ship is docked is one of the last ghats, the promenade is well made, one can take a walk on it. The lane is a narrow one outside like almost all Varanasi. There are lot of rickshaws available to take you to the main city. The evening one has free seating. They have an inside AC section like the morning one. In addition, they have outdoor open seating on the top level too. The view is better as it’s all open , however I feel the time should be a little earlier. It’s too dark to be able to read any names on the ghats, but the experience of seeing the Aarti on all ghats is also spectacular.

Been there on 27-12-2021. That was an awesome cruise sailing from one end of the Varanasi ghat (RAVIDAS GHAT) till the Varanasi ghat and back. It covers all the ghats along holy River Ganga in Varanasi and particularly stops for the entire Ganga Arthi. Snacks served on board.

It was been wonderful experience in Alaknanda Cruise. My kids enjoyed the trip especially the view of birds and bird feeding. The Ghat was very clean
