I call this place home of local delicacies.. The food here is home away from home. When you are talking about price it's very ok. If you are a looking for swallow this is the right place. I ate pounded yam with bitterleaf soup 🍲 My friends had afam soup and okro soup all taste great. The dinning area is good for group dining. The table service is fast and the staff are friendly. I keep my one star 🌟 because this facility is not wheelchair accessible.

It's a nice place to eat or buy food to take away. Their food is good and is served generously. The servers are courteous, and the ambience is good too. The only little challenge is they have limited parking space.

Great food. Worth it's price. The delicious food sold at Jeveniks dares you to finish it. The pounded yam is like cake. The fisherman's soup is packed with fresh nutrients that only nourish the body. You can't regret eating here.

Looking for a place to eat your continental or local dishes to the fullest, money well spent, this is the place. One of the best places to get a very full and delicious meal. Almost everyone can not finish their meal at first sitting. You have to prepare to eat there. The have all manner of native dishes and continentals too. They also have daily specials too, could be abacha or ekpankukwo etc

The Samosas and spring rolls are divine, so is the sharwarma. Chapman was definitely not Chapman. Tasted more like watered down coke and lemon. There's a huge play area for children on the grounds which is nice. Service is was also very sloppy and lackadaisical (almost as if they aren't used to people coming in).

No longer a restaurant if you ask me, but a food delivery depot. The staff don't seem used to having people come in and order so anytime we wanted something, we had to get up and knock or shout. The menu we were given and the prices we got charged at the end were vastly different and we were then told that it was their catering menu for events hence the disparity. The spring rolls and samosas were okay but we ended up with two burnt shawarmas. It's probably best to order their frozen items and prep them at home yourself.

The customer service is impeccable. Great ambience and pretty sanitary. The food is a 100 percent good. Truly value for your money and very satisfying. They should just make sure that they always have everything on their menu, it can be a bummer when you don't get something there that you crave.

The service delivery here is good and quite fast. The attendants who are all guys are very courteous. They serve food in good and sometimes large portions and that also makes me like them. The prices are fair as well They offer quite a number of traditional dishes

We had a family lunch here. We all came in very hungry and worried that the food would take a while. The waiter helped us arranged the table and chairs to accommodate the family (conference style). They took our orders with their cute tab and before we could settle down and all, the first set of meals rolled in. My beautiful looking pounded yam and white soup arrived with a healthy looking chicken. As I dug in, others got theirs delivered. I think generally, we all enjoyed our meal. Credit: * promptness * neat * rich soup that can’t be finished with one wrap. * decent bill Concerns: * parking might be a problem during busy hours * toilet needs toilet paper (for hands too), hand dryer * better lighting

Their samosas was amazing. I loved the environment, it was so peaceful and quiet. (Empty on a Saturday afternoon) There is a play ground for kids. This place is perfect if you want to have some alone time.

Delicious and affordable is what Jevinik is. No matter how much you eat, I'm not you will be able to finish a plate: you'll definitely do take away. I love them so much, I stock up on their soups.

Jevinik has one of the best meals you can have in Abuja. A portion of their meals is big enough to be eaten as a 2 square meal. The meals are also very yummy

Jevinik has great home cooking at very affordable prices. Their customer service is great and they have great variety, clean bathroom facilities and although there's a queue at certain times, it's turnaround service time is relatively great for the industry it operates in. They also offer express delivery inn about forty minutes to one hour. One thing that makes them to stand out from competition is the large portion size they offer. Overall, it's great value for money.

I used to really look forward to dining at Jevinik restaurant: the native soup, the portions; everything was a 10/10. However after my last visit in early December, I noticed that there's been a gaping drop from the norm. It's now too pricey, and the bitter-leaf soup I had was miles apart from what it ought to be. Considering that the soup alone (without proteins) cost 2k. The eba itself was N1500. At least if the meal is going to be expensive, it should be of good quality. A lot has really changed

This is a great place to eat. Polite, attentive and helpful staff. On my last visit, I had Native Soup, which is a curious name because most, if not all, the soups sold there are native to Nigeria- except of course in the continental cuisines. The Native Soup, a type of White Soup, is said to be associated with Rivers State of Nigeria. It is easily one of their best soup offerings. A friend of mine had Afang Soup and regretted his order when he had a taste of my soup. I am partial to Afang Soup, by the way, but wasn't impressed when I tasted my friend's order.

I ate to my fill. I had pounded yam and oha soup. It was so so delicious and yummy. Top notch customer service. Clean environment and beautiful. Calm and so convenient to enjoy a decent meal. Portions can be reduced though. I was unable to eat more than half of my meal. It makes one feel a waste of money. Generally, I had a nice meal.

Jevinik was a blast as always. I had Semi and Egusi soup and it was really tasty. They have a totally super fast ordering system?, my order arrived in less that 10 minutes. They've got take away just in case you can't finish the food because it's really fills the whole place. It's a lovely place for friends and family to hand out. They've got a VIP section also where you can put tables together and spend time with all you friends enjoying a good meal.

Coming back home from work late and not knowing what to eat when I arrive can be very frustrating at times so I decided to look up where I could have a solid meal to take home. Not just any solid meal, a very delicious solid meal. I saw a post from Jeviniks on Instagram on how they were doing free delivery and the meals looked real tasty. It was past 6 and they said the couldn't deliver so I summoned courage and decided to drive by_ on arrival, I was greeted by good service. My order was taken and I couldn't wait to get home and eat. I didn't eat alone, but the food was a testimony from the people I ate with. It was very delicious and I agree to patronize them more often. Thank you for good food with the right budget.

If u go to this restaurant to eat swallow with a friend, do not buy two soup. Buy one soup and two swallow and you two eat from the soup. The soup is so much that you cannot finish alone. You pay for swallow, soup, meat separately. Not like regular Nigeria restaurant where once you pay for swallow, it comes with soup and you have to buy only meat.

  • 4/5 Asher c. 3 years ago on Google
Food was too much to finish! Anybody that finishes 1 plate of poundo and okro and asks for a 2nd plate is not normal and should be taken for medical attention. Hmm what can I say....consistency in quality, healthy portions, richness in meals, great ambience, ample parking....Jevinik will be here for a long time trust me

Nice place, good food but staff members are very sloppy. You place an order and they get carried away, not attending to your request. When you eventually call their attention to it, they look confused. Had to cancel an order I mad after seating for 45mins and waiting without any response. Watched a customer walk out of the restaurant angrily after waiting for about 25mins only and she was later told that they didn't get her request right. Also, the pricing on the menu is different from the pricing on the receipt, the excuse is that price has been reviewed yet the management didn't deem it fit to do an all-round update on the new prices?

Nice place to have local food especially when you are extra hungry at noon cause their portions are big. despite the size of the portions, the food is still delicious and inexpensive. Another plus is that service is quick. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. As the overall appearance of the restaurant is the only low key.

  • 3/5 Getty J. 3 years ago on Google
Top quality, fresh finger-licking Nigeria cuisines. However I'm giving just 3 stars because Lack of one soup or the other which I keep encountering, and is becoming very discouraging. For almost two times on a row each I visit always told ogbono and pounded yam is not available, especially during evenings. Pls try to improve.

Jevinik have one of the best food in Abuja. Served nicely with great taste. Their chicken, fish and goat meat tastes very nice. They only need to work on their vegetable salad. Sometimes the carrots aren't scrapped and some of the leafy vegetables are sometimes dry. I enjoyed the Jollof rice so much. It's the best place to eat fresh tasty meal😋😋

Love Jevinik!!! The vegetable soup is to die for! However it is quite expensive and should not be an option for someone on a tight budget. The parking is also an issue for me because of how tight the parking lot is. Other than that they have good tasting food.

I just wasted money. I requested for a dry fish and bitter leaf soup. Instead of bringing both in a different plate, they served the fish together with the soup; the plate was full with the fish. When I requested for soup to eat, I was asked to pay additional n1,000 when I had paid already n3,500 for the meal. I find it very uncomfortable and angry It was just a waste of money.....

They have a very serene eating environment, you need to put an eye for the workers uniform, it's always an interesting mix. As for the food, my favourite is their Salad. Great place in general

  • 4/5 Njay 3 years ago on Google
Perfect place, good meal, serene environment with good service. The ofe Owerri (special menu) was on another higher level that my son had to order extra swallow. Most impressive thing about the restaurant is the quantity of soup they serve. It can serve a single person for a whole week and that is amazing.

Good place. Good food but they served me strong meat that I couldn't eat because it was very hard to chew. Stop serving customers toothpicks. Get Floss. Customers pay enough to get it after meal.

Sustaining the name and business well. Standard is well kept for years I ve known them. Clean and tasty dishes. Good and homely environment

  • 5/5 Chinechem A. 2 years ago on Google
If you are looking for a homely meal outside your home, this is the best place to visit. The quality and standard of their meals has been maintained over the years and i'm really impressed and must commend the management. So if you are in Abuja and looking for well prepared local dishes, you must visit Jevinik.

Food is nice, but they keep serving in large portions. They should reduce the portion they serve as well as the price and allow those who want large protein to order for more. I feel like I'm compelled to order food for two. I keep going back though cause the food is good

  • 4/5 Kene O. 2 years ago on Google
Not a bad place to dine. Relying a bit on past glory as I think the taste of their food could be better. You'd get better service when you go here physically than when you try to order over the phone

Whenever I want to buy food and take home, Jevenik Restaurant is my first point of call. I love the environment. Also I love the fact that they give you so much soup and you can eat half and keep the other for another day. Their meat is quite big too. However, this place is not wheelchair accessible.

The taste of the food is delicious, the quantity is such that if you are not a big eater, you can't finish it especially their swallow. Their waiters are smart and polite . A neat and comfortable place to eat and relax.

It's Amazing to see a Local Brand in the Hospitality Industry in Nigeria keeps Upgrading and moving upwardly after almost 20 years of establishment. JEVINIK HAVE WON MY HEART FOR ALL TIME. YES, They're that Good!

  • 5/5 Justina E. 2 years ago on Google
Today, I learnt they serve 2 special soups on Tuesdays; the Home-made soup, which I really enjoyed and the native soup. I'm sure going to try that out in my next visit!

  • 5/5 ummi k. 2 years ago on Google
Jevnik is a heaven made in Earth if you're love good food as much as I do. You can't finish their food at one sitting except you came very hungry and didn't eat anything at all. Their fish alone is enough to fill you up. I usually forget to take pictures as I'm not the picture type and I'm there for the food. No time to waste. A very good place for a food date for you and boo.

  • 5/5 Adeyinka A. 2 years ago on Google
Value for money, their native soup is still me favorite.

  • 3/5 Dede O. 2 years ago on Google
Unfortunately the place is losing its standard. While the food is still great (at least the ones we had) both in quality and quantity, the ambience is fast deteriorating. Firstly temperature of the main restaurant downstairs was a bit on the high side. A waiter confirmed that they had severally worked on the air conditioners without success and ut seemed the management had given up. To make matters worse, not all the fans were working. I can't any it was the best condition to enjoy your meal, no matter how famished you are.

  • 4/5 Oluwaseun O. 1 year ago on Google
Cool restaurant and amazing customer service. The fact that they have selected foods per day makes it easier for customers to be served in 2-4 minutes. For first time visitors, it may be best to contact them to confirm the available food (soup precisely) on the day you are going. Lest I forget, their price(s) are also cool and the meals are delicious ☺️

  • 5/5 Nneka A. 1 year ago on Google
It's a delightsome experience each time I eat at Jevinik, they never disappoint. Their meals are so tasty you will lick your fingers and the portions are quite huge that most times I can't finish it at once. Same with the protein- very big, tender and well cooked.

  • 5/5 Janet J. 1 year ago on Google

Jevinik restaurant is a chain of restaurants most popular within Federal capital city of Abuja, they have varieties of menus and they’re affordable, the Jevinik in Garki is located on the Ladoke Akintola way by lagos street Garki.

If you can finish one plate of their food in one sitting, borrow us your stomach. The ambience is calm, the air is cool, and the food is very good and even more than you can finish. Look at that moimoi and ask me if I didn't feel like elephant after eating most of it 🤣

  • 3/5 folakemi a. 10 months ago on Google
Jevinik is a cool place to get very well prepared meals for a pocket friendly price. Their restaurants have a bit of an antique/old-fashioned touch. Their service is also quite fast. I’d however suggest they upgrade on their interiors.

Been in Abuja for sometime. Eaten in various restaurants in Abuja and Lagos combined. I love food please. Jevinik is in my top 3. I ate their coconut rice and it reminds me of home.

I had bitterleaf soup and Pounded yam. The soup was wack. It was stale and sincerely did not taste like Bitterleaf soup. My colleague and myself has a running stomach after eating it. I was disappointed cos Jevnik use to be a choice place for me... I hope they do better.
