Hope they can improve the park. The ticket prices is quite high, but the main attraction (crocodile) is worst than before. No more crocodile show, just feeding the crocodile using bamboo pole, no more taking picture with crocodile. Just a few crocodile pond and that its. I really hope that the park authority can upgrade the attraction. For example, using glass container pond, where tourist can watch them swimming, crocodile bridge, more attractive children educational program, audio visual interactive and lot of crocodiles different species. Don't just simply increase the tickets prices ang decrease the parks quality. Thank you

It's an OK place to visit in Melaka. Not much to see, however other than crocodiles and the likes, there are also some enclosures for snakes, turtles, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and ponies. Not a large crowd during the weekend and the entry fee is not exorbitant. Good for kids to see up close to the crocodiles and even ride the ponies. There are feeding sessions too for the crocodiles and you can hand feed the terrapins in one of the ponds.

I personally felt like not worth for money. The only thing excite me was feeding turtles and goat. You will just get tired walking on slopes. The food for turtles are free of charge. The rest food is chargeable. If you are rabbit lover you may consider Iman Rabbit Farm.

Please notice ! Haha... Reptile animals are active at night 😁😅. So don't comment why most of the crocodiles are inactive 🤧. They arranged the crocodiles based on the age of them They also provide a swimming pool for kids to enjoy in the crocodile park. It takes about 1 hour for you to round the park There are other animals also here. Prefer to book online tickets for cheaper price

A nice place to visit with family & friends. We went on weekdays and not so many people here. The entrance fees is RM16 for adult, my son is 2 years old and its free of charge. You will not only see the crocodiles but also deer, rabbit, chicken, ducks, turtles, birds, snakes and racoon. You can buy food for the animals in a vending machine at the entrance. It cost you RM10/pack. You also can feed the turtles for free. At the lowest part of this park, you can find a pool to swim. Make sure wearing your sunscreen, bring your umbrella and water cause its hot.

There are so many types of crocodiles here. You can't feed the crocodile ofc 😂 but you can feed the emu birds, ducks and deers, ride a horse, touch a baby python and so much more. There are plenty spots for people who loves to take pictures too. You should go there if you're planning to spend some quality time with your family.

evening sun might be "disturbing" if you are not keen with the sun. advised to get here by morning, since this place are quite hot and you might get sweaty. as for the park itself, we manage to see feeding session. i was told there was two feeding session each day (morning, evening (3pm). we arrived around 3:00pm and manage to catch feeding session with their crocs. if you are bringing your children, do make sure bring extra clothes since they had a huge pools with water slide. the pool are included in the ticket price, do make sure to use it to utmost. not sure why, but not many crocs are present and we manage to catch "sick" crocs in their ward. they got reptiles, amphibian, bird sanctuary, deers, hamsters and rabbits as well.

We entered for 15 minutes and it started to rain heavily. The crocodile feeding show had just started for 5 minutes at that time. All visitors took shelter under a "court" and wooden hut nearby. After about 40 minutes the rain subsided. A worker came to distribute umbrellas to visitors. We used the umbrellas and the worker followed us to the Lobby and asked us to return the borrowed umbrellas. It was a bit disappointing not to be able to take the children to explore the farm despite having paid full price. The management should at least provide visitors with disposable raincoats if it cannot refund the entrance fee in which it is understood. The use of raincoat is appropriate when the rain is easing. All in all, the farm is clean and beautiful with it's flora and fauna and have many varieties of animals for viewing (not my first visit) and most importantly my kids had a good time here. Thank you.

Bought ticket from Klook. Rm 13 per adult. Personally enjoyed the birds more. Spent around 1 hrs here. Many crocodiles mostly resting under water and sun basking.

Visit the home of over 100 crocodiles in the Melaka Crocodile & Recreation Park . Children can enjoy with their parents. After the Covid-19 now again they reopened it. So tourists are happy about it.

Kalau nak bawak anak kecil, maybe berbaloi. But if you're an adult, paying rm19 per head just to see a bunch of lazy crocodile, it's not worth it. Rugi je.

Went on a weekday non school holiday time and loving how lack of crowds there were, which I highly recommend as the place is tiny, especially the petting farm, so definitely go during off peak times. I really think they should change the name of the place as to be honest, majority of the crocodiles are asleep and hiding so the time mostly spent by the patrons would be with the rabbits, deers, and others. Regardless it was definitely worth the visit

Kids happy to be here. Food outside allowed. Lots of canopy for family to have picnic. Beware of monkeys eyeing for food. Bring extra clothes for kids to play with the water.

Easy access from main road. Easy parking but crowded during peak hour. Not just crocodiles but also got snakes, peacock, racoon, ducks, deer, chicken, horse, rabbit, hedgehog & tortoises. Ok..not bad but surrounding can improve a lot. The wakaf is a bit rundown as some seating came off already. The cage looks old & rusty. Amphitheatre is not in use & closed to public. Feeding session for crocs at 11.30am & 3.30pm. Can volunteer to feed the crocs as well. Only have 1 wakaf used for selling foods & drinks.

I think it's a wonderful place to spend time with family and very small children, we came here after witnessing how very crowded Zoo Melaka was. For me, the draw was not the crocodiles but the other smaller animals. There was only one feeding pack left when we were buying tickets at the counter (long wait, I would suggest that two ticket lanes be open during peak hours). But we had much fun feeding the deer, rabbits, emu and birds (ducks, turkey and chickens) as well as the terrapins (free kangkung for feeding)! The rabbits can be better cared for (some of them were really dirty :( and seemed like they needed some TLC) and some facilities such as abandoned stalls should definitely be upgraded. A nice plus is the water playground for kids and the McD restaurant nearby where we had a secret recipe cake and coffee combo for RM13 😊

This is my third time visiting Taman Buaya. First time was 30 years ago and second time 20 years ago. There is a change compared to my past visits. Nowadays we can see deers, tortoise, rabbits, chicken, swans, ducks, snakes, birds, others than crocodiles and alligators. Definitely a fun place for children and animal lovers. We can feed the small animals but you need to buy the food at the entrance counter first, when you buy entrance tickets. Really a memorable experience to interact with all the lovely small animals there! I would give 10 stars for them (Except the crocs! Haha). Quite an informative trip for kids to learn about knowledge of animals. As for the staff of the park, they are quite friendly and helpful. 4 stars for the environment, as I found that the pond water outside their park is poorly maintained maybe because of the high operation cost but hopefully they are able to make it cleaner. Overall, this trip was quite fun. My kid likes it too.

Price quite reasonable for me. They also got swimming pool at the end of park. 3 things in one place were awesome! You can watch crocodile, some mini buildings, and can swimming. Best time you can watch crocodiles in action, you must go around 12.00pm-12.30pm to watch crocodile keepers give the food to it. You also got a chance to give the food to crocodile.

A lot of crocodiles but a lot more needs to be improved. Some positives first: The employees were excellent, trying their best to make do with what seems like a budget constraint. The croc feeding was well explained. The ticket counter and reptile house staff was also very friendly. Now the negatives. Firstly, general directions and signage were lacking. A simple map would help. Each crocodile enclosure also did not have any information on the crocodiles in each area. Some had a laminated paper with the name and species, but that was it. Secondly, amenities. Walkway was slippery and unkept, many dead ends, and quite dirty. The animal enclosures were also not well kept, for example, the deer enclosure was muddy and dirty. The 'mini Malaysia' was probably amazing in the 80s but today, any mall lobby decoration looks better. Thirdly, general park design was confusing and strange. There is a water park in a crocodile farm. Concrete crocodile enclosures painted bright colors and patterns. Empty cages supposedly housing birds. I hope that a major makeover is done, similar to the KL Bird Park. The place has potential, if more funds are directed more purposefully.

Good place to bring your kids around, just don't set your expectation too high. You can buy food to feed the deers, emus, chicken & rabbit. Pony ride is available. Not too big a place so you can cover the area in one hour or so, unless the water park is in your activity list. Not as much crocodiles as before

  • 2/5 Lance W. 1 year ago on Google
Very small park. Not many crocodile as I was expecting. Almost all varieties of the crocodile looks a bit smillar. Lucky I brought from Klook, slightly cheaper. Not worth visiting unless you haven't seen crocodile close up in your life time. Bring along your umbrella too avoid hot sun. If given choice , better to visit Melaka Zoo.

First time here with the kids. We were greeted with open arms from the staff there. Was really friendly and informative. We can tell that the staff takes really good care of the crocs there. Their sizes are huge and enormous. We havent be able to join the feeding time but thats okay. Places look clean and organised. Rabbits not so much. Emu birds too. We didnt go into the Ghost House. There are few new animals that are added there. New deer and its fawn. Batik Pyhthon. Enormous phython. Snapping turtle. Kids get the chance to feed Tuntung there. Tickets for kids 5-12 yo is RM11/each There are surau and toilets here too. And miniature famous buildings of Malacca.

The area is small and many facility is under maintenance such as ghost house. For weekday ticket is RM16 and RM19 for weekend. The price is for citizen only. I think the price is unreasonable for me. The water park water also not in good condition.

recently visited Taman Buaya & Rekreasi Melaka and had a great time there! The park had a wide variety of crocodiles and other animals, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I especially enjoyed the crocodile feeding shows, which were both exciting and informative. The park was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of shaded areas to rest and relax. Overall, I highly recommend Taman Buaya & Rekreasi Melaka as a fun and educational destination for anyone visiting Melaka.

Been coming here since I was a kid and although most of the layout and attractions are the same since forever, it still holds a special place in my heart.

The place was nice to visit (especially for me, someone who has never seen a crocodile) however for the entrance fees (especially as a foreigner) I expected a bit more? You can buy the tickets at the entrance and directly go inside. All in all its okay and it took me around 30 minutes to go around, including taking pictures.

Great place to be with family during weekend. the place is stroller friendly and safe for little kids. My kids were able to feed deer, emu, rabbit, tortise. Even able to pet small snake. they also have kids pool with water slide for kids to enjoy. overall great place to spend with kids

I went here with my family during the weekends. This place would be a good substitute for Zoo Melaka if you are considering the ticket price. I think the place is just nice, not too big or too small. During the ticket purchase, you can buy a packet of animal foods for feeding (4 types of food, can refer to the label). In addition, at the reptiles area you can feed the turtles for free (food will be provided).

Nice place for kids to feed animals but you need to pay to feed certain animals even though u purchased the main entrance ticket. The place is small and there isn't really a lot things to see. The pool area is simple.
