The area is big and the theater facade design is great and unique! However, now the are is only open the outdoor area for visitor. The shows has not resume and according to the staff there, Feb 2023 may have some event and resume the show. Hope its quickly back to normal otherwise this place might become white elephant. The staff there is quite friendly and helpful.

Am impressed with the venue right from arrival with guides helping in on line tickets redemption to reminding on door closing time. The 1st sight of auditorium tells u its gonna be a unique experience and as the show unfolds i was not disappointed. The Lightings, the overlapping n Rotating stage, the Rain Spots, the Heritage props, The Drummers, Dancers, Music & Colors are a great tribute to the whole symphony of the rich heritage culture of Melaka & Malaysia. Kudos to the Originators, Producers, Choreographers, Actors & Crew. Well done ! Keep & Sustain the Spirit & Passion in your Performances & you all will make the Impressions of Encore Melaka a must visit for Tourists & Malaysians alike.

If you are here for Instagram or xiaohongsu (small red book), Please don't. They only open in the morning and close in the evening. 9am-6pm. Nothing much besides empty building outside. I am sure it's a great place for whatever show it's showing. But if there is no program, Avoid! Unless you are willing to pay RM5, you can use it to get a meal/drink in Jonker market instead. We were tricked by all the pictures online, don't be us, you been warned.

An interesting musical experience for someone who has never been to one. The seats rotates at 360 degrees allowing the audience to view the different scenes of the Malacca history. Everything has been great right from the moment I stepped into the area. The guides were very much helpful and friendly. The restrooms were spacious and clean. There is a prayer room for the Muslims as well. A bag check is conducted before you go up the escalator that leads to the entrance of the hall. We could take photos with the casts after the performance in their beautiful costumes. Shuttle service is available to bring you to the affiliated hotels or if not you could book a Grab ride. In my personal opinion, the musical itself left me an impact especially the scene on 6 mothers. Would love to see what other performances they will come up with in future. The area around this building is undergoing development - Cant wait to visit Malacca again when it's ready.

Street not congested, beach is next to it. Can feel the sea breeze and nice scenery there. Good place for photo shoot too. However many contructions taking place nearby, doubt that it will be as nice in 2-3 years time

The stage designs are great and awesome with a lots of special effects. However for story content and plot just normal, not much touching point. Performance conduct with Malay, Chinese and Malay, it’s suitable for everyone but feel a bit draggy. Be early so you won’t miss any part of it. Free parking provided but need more care while using GPS due to one way road closure at entrance. Building architecture quite instagrammable.

The wind was so strong and the weather was so hot. The place was beautiful and nice. I haven't entered the hall as I was a little bit rushing back to KL. Location wise is good. Accessible to public and the parking is free! Had to take turns to snap pictures... Congratulations Malacca!

Huge performance hall with state of the art rotation seating platform. I'm thrilled by the potential of different theatre configurations able to be executed in this 360 stage. You can also chill out at the external of the building, enjoy taking pictures with the modern architecture facade or the traditional sunset sea shore.

Impressed~!! This is the Southeast Asia's first 360 degree rotating audience platform. We never notice this until we curious why the scene is difference? How they did this? Until the end of the show finally we were realized it. The screen and sound are also excellent. The WOW feeling keeps beeping. Highly recommended to have a experience here.

I went there for the Fuji Autumn Matsuri festival.. It was such an amazing place to take pictures (but of course depends on what event you are attending).. plus this place is just next to a beautiful beach.. so you can also go to the beach for a while after you finish attending your event.. car park also is not an issue since this place has a building (next to it) just for car park..

So, the date stated for the Fuji Autumn Matsuri event is 13.9.23 on the Encore Facebook page but it's actually not ready. They did apologize but instead of giving updated info, Encore Melaka passes the blame to the Fuji Autumn Matsuri organizers. If you post it on your Facebook page then maybe take some of the responsibility Encore Melaka? The organizers, Sheng Tai International (yes, it's a Chinese company organizing a Japanese event) insist that it is open but when we come what we get is a placard claiming that it's only still a soft launch which is double speak for "we're not ready to open" but feel free to have a look around for free. Except that it's NOT FREE because parking costs RM5! Why they didn't put this new "soft launch" info on their Facebook speaks volumes of their organizational skills. You would think that Japan being the land of efficiency and apology would be quick to step in but there is neither efficiency nor a proper apology because the land here is not Japan and the people here are not Japanese so we deserve neither. 🤣

It is an amazing rotating theatre that features three performing stages, one of which is a water dance stage. The venue is located near Jonker Street (15 minutes by car) right by the sea with a beautiful view of the melaka strait. Unfortunately, there is not much food in the vicinity. Amazing local delicacies can be found just a short car ride away.

Nothing much to see besides a unique building and it was a nice place to take pictures and watch the sunset. The downside is that you have to pay for parking.

On stage performance about Melaka's history and heritage. Very interesting concept, where the audience seats will rotate to create an illusion that the stage is moving. It is nice to feature 3 different languages for the performance, but the show is quite boring due to too much slow and uninteresting speeches and simple but boring traditional dances. The ticket price I feel is a little too pricey, but justifiable because of the huge cast and innovative technology used.

Went here for the first time just to have some photo session with my partner. The outside is a really great place to either take a lot of photos/selfies or just to ambil angin hahah. Seriously when I went there it was really windy. Went at around noon but not hot at all because so windy to the point it kinda destroy my tudung 💀 But yea the outside scenery is pretty. Can take a pictures and there are not that much people so you won't actually randomly appear on another person's photo or anything 🤣

As of February 2024, the concert hall is still closed. According to insiders, something will likely begin after this fall at the earliest. It's such a shame that this great facility is being made fun of like this. I hope the performance starts again soon.

Can take photos outside only, inside still didn't open for the public. Then the guard didn't say anything, just let us park and charge rm5 (flat rate).

Such a beautiful architecture for those photographers out there. You can take pictures from all over the encore. You should go during golden hour to get better lighting

This theatre, opened in Jul 2018, is situated at quite a remote location, and is the only completed development among several residential & commercial projects which are still under construction. The show itself was quite colourful, though short, running at around 80 minutes, and not with a lot of content as the narrative was delivered in three languages (Malay, English & Mandarin). No taxi stand available, but kudos to the guest relations officers for helping to book Grab rides after the show ended.

We had 2 free tickers from the Pines hotel. Great show but poor audience. People kept taking video/photos, which distracted us throughout the show. Rotating stage was quite fun too. The show was very memorable and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. 👍👍

When we arrived at the parking lot, three security guards stopped us and told us that the place had closed at 7pm and we were not allowed to stay here and to leave immediately. So it's better to let more people know the business hours here.

Abstract artworks are understood differently by everyone. It is recommended that tourists just check in, take photos and take a look around. It is best to experience it with your heart and experience a different kind of fun. My personal feeling is that the several triangular cones in front of the Opera House are a bit like the newly added glass pyramid in front of the Louvre Museum in Paris. The design concept is inherited, although the two buildings were not designed by the same architect. The triangular cone and exterior wall in front of the Opera House are designed with fish scales, which looks like a fish exposing part of its body in the sea, but also like small waves in the sea, echoing the seaside, and also highlighting the history of Malacca as a port.
