order the largest platter, even with a group of five people, nearly can't finish it! Super crispy Knuckle is the best part, and all the sausage are good tasting, all the other side dish are fair too. we order tasting beer plate too, AUD15 with 5cups of 110ml tasting beer, absolutely worth for it. Sum up is a good value for sharing with your friends and family. Here also is a nice place for gathering.

I was so craving for German sausage so we went to this place on the way back to Perth after a short trips from swan valley. Delicious German food with good portion, we took 4 kids with us and they all enjoy the kids food from the kids menu. The beer tasting also nice Highly recommend for the family must visit. ❤️

Sadly I wouldn't come here again. Mainly disappointed in the price and quality. I work in hospitality myself, I know I am the type of difficult customer with this review but as a German and a foodie I would not want other people to think that this is how German food it. Had the brewery pan, husband had the schnitzel with fries which was good, the brewery pan was quite blunt. The sausage was sadly not my thing and I don't know what sausage it was supposed to b, I couldn't tell. The kassler had a super unusual & hard texture, not what you'd expect for a traditional kassler. considering how much we paid, very disappointing. Staff was friendly, quite young and casual and seemed kinda a little unprofessional, again considering the price. We asked for frozen Brezel as starter, but came with the two main meals and one of the main meals was handwarm. Dessert took 30 min to come out and was almost cold too. Paid over 120$ for a experience that was quite underwhelming. The restaurant itself was nice and warm, definitely a good location. I personally would recommend it more to go for drinks and the "non German " food like burgers maybe and steaks. By the way you should check out Hela Butcher to supply you with meat with sausages. They are authentic!!!

worth every cent! the pork trotter crackling was to die for, and the roasted potatoes, sauerkraut and sausages were the perfect accompaniment. pricey but will revisit for sure!

I am Austrian and I definitely enjoy the food and the beer there. Schweinshaxn is definitely a must have and the Hefeweiss Bier is a good option to go with! For 2 People with Pork Knuckle the price would be around +100$, what is okay in my eyes!

The german pork knuckle is crispy on the outside and soft & tender inside. AUD90.

It was a good experience. The pork knuckle was crispy and tender. Red cabbage was tasty and apple sauce perfect. With a cold beer it's a good choice always. I highly recommend this German restaurant....

Travelling through the Swan Valley, always wanted to stop in and try. We were not disappointed. German pub food and drink. Absolutely 💯 amazing. I had the sausage grille meal, my partner she had the chicken schitzel and the girls had kids burger with chips with ice cream included in the meal. Fantastic value. Beer taster was very good with a great ginger beer. I also had a coffee with almond milk which went down very well and did not need sugar at all. Delicious food, great atmosphere and great fresh beer. Highly recommend and I know we will return again

I was here on Father's Day. Heard the Pork knuckle was good. It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The saukraut and beetroot pickles was great. I had a Ginger beer. I must say a sure visit place if you love crispy knuckle. Not forgetting their German beer.

Nice food, poor service. I believe the place is nice, but not prepared for busy days. Would never book a commemorative occasion over there again. We went for Father’s Day today, despite my booking been confirmed since 05 June, we were given the worst table ever. I was thought that If you make an early booking you would receive at least one of the best tables available, as any business would leave the less favourable tables for those late arrangements… anyway, It started raining, the drizzle coming into our direction and the staff refused to shut the wind blinds and simply told us we were welcome to shift the table without offering any help. At the end, we were keen to order desert, the waiting time was 40 min. We also ordered kids meal, one of the kids meal was forgotten (properly refunded). As part of the kids meal, all children could have an ice cream, I asked for these at the end at we wait over 20 min them, since too much drizzle was bothering us, all kids left without their ice cream. Clearly the place is not prepared for big crowds. Would have been an amazing experience if they had looked us as a costumers.

Booked a large table of 20 to celebrate a birthday at 7pm. Went there at 4:30pm to set up the decorations and table. Place was busy and our reserved table was being used. Which was fine. Senior staff ensured us the staff will set up for us before guests arrive. Came back at 6:45pm with the birthday boy. Place is dead and our decorations were still where we left them. Table wasn’t set up with menus, cutlery, decorations.. nothing. So had to set up the decor and table ourselves frantically while guests were arriving. Totally unacceptable! Would be nice upon reserving table to be told that kitchen closes at 8 and last drinks at 8:45. If we had known that we would have booked elsewhere. Staff inattentive, maybe inexperienced in hospitality. Food was nice tho.
