After
a
couple
of
visits
to
taste
Duncan's
wines,
I
was
inspired
to
return
to
the
vineyard
to
pick
the
grapes
and
learn
more
about
the
process.
I
am
passionate
about
supporting
farmers
who
produce
organically.
It
is
a
philosophy
that
nurtures
the
land
and
human
health
and
requires
commitment
an
hard
work
toward
a
sustainable
future.
We
had
a
nice
early
start
at
5.30am,
enjoying
the
peace
and
serenity
of
the
valley.
There
were
5
of
us
volunteers
including
my
14
year
old
daughter,
Natalie.
We
picked
for
3
hours,
had
a
lovely
morning
tea
of
cake
and
bickies
made
by
Paula,
then
picked
for
another
couple
of
hours,
completing
3
rows
of
vines.
Duncan
drove
his
little
tractor
and
trailer
through
the
rows
while
we
loaded
the
boxes
on.
We
then
put
them
through
the
crusher.
Duncan
explained
the
process
as
we
worked,
demonstrating
the
flow
from
crusher
to
press
to
fermentation
tanks.
We
then
washed
up
and
joined
together
for
a
lovely
lunch
of
home
made
salads,
bbq
meat
and
good
conversation,
plus
a
glass
or
three
of
the
good
stuff.
It
was
an
experience
I
will
never
forget
and
will
certainly
return
to
again.
I
highly
recommend
to
everyone
to
come
and
see
how
Duncan
can
do
what
nobody
else
in
Perth
does.....produce
organic
wine
to
world
class
standards.
Thankyou
Duncan
and
Paula
for
a
wonderful
experience.
