First time to try authentic Indian food. Their food was delicious, however it was too spicy for me even if we requested a mild one. Nevertheless, it's worth the try. One serving is already good for 2-3 people. Biryani rice is too flavorful. Expect onion taste in every dish/sauce. You can choose your chicken whether it's roast, grilled, steamed or fried. The ambiance is great. Perfect colorful interior. Staff are well trained.

The place - okay the ambiance of the place is really nice. Interior design is pretty. There are traditional seating as well if you are into that. Come in early and you will practically have the place to yourself. The food - I will tell you this, the dishes are not catered to the Pinoy pallete. So this would really be a hit or miss to the first timers. We ordered Samosas (not in the picture) and those were so good! The biryani has lots of rice, but the meat feels a bit lacking (or is that how it's supposed to be?) Their masala is really good too. One last thing - the servers were nice as well but they are a bit on slower side. The fact that we're the only ones eating. Still thanks to them.

Amazing Indian cuisine here! Mutton Biryani is delicious! First time trying Pakora and it was crispy and savoury. And with assorted sauce the mint chutney it elevated the dish more. Highly recommend!

Ample parking and good food. Our favorite place for Chicken Biryani in QC. New location is way better than the old one. However, staff needs better training. Visited on a Saturday evening and there were only 4 tables occupied. Staff needed 10mins just to give us our bill. It also felt like they were trying to avoid looking at the diners as calling their attention will need extra effort. Place also doesn't accept credit card payments.

My only question is why have I not known this sooner. I grew up in the middle east and love Indian food as well so when me and the fam saw this, it was no brainer thar was going to be an experience. And we were right! I got no food pictures because I was busy eating with my hands :). What made the dining experience better is that they actually have an area where you can take of your shoes and eat on the floor (well there's table technically bit you get it). I know it's indian but it sure reminded of me of middle east and indian customs. Food-wise: biryani was awesome and lots of extra sauce base you mix it with. Appetizers are bangers. For drinks, you gotta try their yogurt base smoothie.

Giving 3 stars. Samosa is good and the dips. But the mutton biryani is very pale. Lacks for flavors and the meat is very dry. And if you are familiar with the real taste of a authentic biryani. This very far from the real ones. But the place is nice. Staff service is good. Picture is what you can expect. I Dont use filters on my reviews.

not many dishes on their menu ! no masala, no vindaloo, no madras, etc.. only butter chicken on the menu thats the only chicken curry they have ! the food tasteless and boring. the paratha and naan bread was a bit sweet ! just the vegetable samosa was okay but it was not really hot. 2 stars because the service was fast and the restaurant was clean. NO service water available and they charge 8 % service charge but its not mentioned on their menu !

Summary: Delicious food, ample serving size, okay service, but cleanliness could be improved. Would recommend! ------ Had the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Vegetable Samosa, and lassi. The chicken biryani was flavorful and moist and the basmati rice was fluffy and well-cooked. The serving size was pretty good (almost half a chicken cut into 3 pieces), but you may find the rice a bit lacking. The accompanying sauces were okay, but the yogurt sauce was a bit too thin and watery for my liking (yogurt mint sauce of the samosa was equally watery). Butter Chicken looked small, but it was actually filling. It had a really nice flavor: I like the smoky taste of it! The accompanying naan were nice and buttery, too. Vegetable samosa were good and hot! Make sure to ask them to adjust the hotness level if you can't take the heat. Lassis were not too sweet, which is a plus for me. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a bit of trouble calling the attention of the server due to how my tables was positioned and where the staff were stationed. Aside from that, service was good. My only complaint would be on the cleanliness. My table and the "floor seat" still had some food on them when we were seated.

Relatively new to Indian cuisine but their food is amazing. Please do note that by nature, Indian food is not salty and doesn't have the usual 'umami' character mostly found in South East Asian food. Indian cuisine is aromatic and has subtle flavors from their dried spices. Pricing, however, is on the upper scale. Please be warned that their service is painfully slow. Our orders took around 30mins to arrive. Overall good experience if not for the poor service.

it was good but we didn't felt the indian vibes because they were playing english songs. the samosa and jalebi was great 👍🏼 i planned before i go here, so my budget was exact like i brought exact amount for the jalebi but then there were other charges. Luckily, I have someone with me so we split the bill. Also, there was no complimentary water.

My family really liked and was very amazed on the food since they stayed in the middle east for a long time especially my dad who worked there for almost 34 yrs and they say it was delicious and the taste are almost the same as what they have back in Saudi. Even my mom like it very much and it is her first time to eat biryani, she said it was fantastic, the meat is tender and doesn't have any smell and the portions are quite reasonable for the price, really worth to buy. Definitely they will order again and for me and my husband once we go back to Philippines this will be in our first list to visit. congratulations and continue to make other people experience this fabulous cuisine.

Giving 1 star. This is not the real taste of authentic biryani. Lack of flavors in rice and the chicken biryani is bland. Lamb is burnt also. Its not worth the price.

Best biryani place in Manila. Chef is friendly too, and can give you free taste of Masala tea. They practice food safety and check the temp of the food prior to delivery.

Golden Rice Hyderabadi Restaurant in Devour Quezon City offers a delightful culinary experience. The Lamb Biryani is a standout, showcasing a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that truly defines the dish. The Fried Chicken Biryani, with its crispy and fresh texture, adds a delightful twist to traditional flavors. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and skillful preparation is evident in every bite, making it a must-visit for biryani enthusiasts.

I have been trying their Chicken and Mutton Biryani several times in its early beginnings directly delivered to our home, and I already loved it. As a former OFW in UAE, the taste of their foods are very authentic that many OFW really loved to eat in UAE. Dining in their well known QC main branch is on a different level of great experience! The ambiance are very lively, its very clean and you feel at home because the staff and management are very friendly and accommodating! This is the restaurant every Filipino, with their friends and loved ones - must try, not only once, but again and again! Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Food was not good & overpriced except for the biryani. I don't know why this place has high reviews. Changing my review to 1 star because of the owner's reply. You have a point, but you shouldn't be guilt tripping your customers for giving honest feedback. To be more specific, the naan and paratha were incredibly oily. The "cheese" naan had a few pieces (strings) of cheese that wasn't even properly melted. The butter chicken was priced at above 500 pesos but it wasn't even warm. The chicken was stale and the food wasn't even warm. After that first experience I was sure I wouldn't go here again to give it another try. And after reading your response, that's just the last straw.

This is an addiction for me once you taste their Biryani you will surely come again and again, they are unique when it comes to biryani I think they offer the best biryani not only in the Philippines but their biryani can be compared internationally. Great food.

Love the aesthetic of the restaurant - spacious, comfy, and colorful. We had a great time eating here as waiters are pretty attentive and food arrived fairly quickly. We had the mutton biryani, butter chicken, garlic naan, and sweet potato and vegetable samosa. Very satisfied with everything especially the mutton biryani but the sweet potato samosa is the most notable for me. Also love their garlic naan - I can eat 5 servings of those by themselves haha. Will definitely come back here.

Place is air conditioned but too cold. With enough parking space. Food is good! Almost the same like the ones I order in KSA (mutton biryani and buttered chicken). Price quite expensive but Im sure you can't complain.

Second time to order, we ordered the Chicken Biryani Tandoori this time. We loved it! Even my 12 year old son had two servings of the dish. My Mom and I used to live in Dubai and we have always been looking for authentic biryani, the one from Golden Rice is the best!

Biryani is so delicious. I am still in awe that a serving contains so much variety of great herbs. The names of the herbs sound foreigh but I am sure their nutritional values are so rich to enhance our health. It is like saying 'masarap' na, 'masustansya' pa!
