We booked our stay looking at the reviews. However, ended up having a terrible stay. We were there for 3 days during December. The hotel staff are extremely unprofessional (especially the person with glasses who sits at the reception). We paid for extra mattresses but the mattresses were thin and hard as stone and could not be used. We asked for a replacement 3 times and we were told it will be replaced but it never was. The rooms have rats and the staff are aware of this situation but do nothing. The bed was not clean and the water supply stopped completely mid shower. The location itself isn’t bad since you find many rickshaws right at your doorstep. However, it doesn’t appear to be the safest places and nor is the cleanest.

Boasting a 4.9 rating on gmaps, higher than the Ritz Carlton, I have to admit my expectations were high. The fake reviews reveal a culture of smoke and mirrors perpetrated by this hotel. The pictures and reviews are all an illusion. The hotel shows it’s age in every corner. Black marks creep up the wall from the baseboards, various holes and stains scatter the bedding, and the wooden furniture is layered with dust. The list goes on. I found it quite funny that they have a “no outside food” rule. There are many ways in which a hotel can attract customers to its restaurant. They could host events, improve the quality of their food, and/or decrease their costs to pass along savings to customers. In true Hotel Aura Grand fashion, they simply barred all competition. Are you recognizing a pattern with the way this hotel does business? While overall kind, service was not efficient. Some requests were simply ignored, while others, like a request for more toilet paper, took over 2 hours. I thought long and hard for something that wasn’t atrocious about this hotel that I could share with you. The only thing I could think of is that the staff are generally friendly, though very forgetful. If you respect yourself and don’t want to support con-artists, find another hotel.

I would like to express some concerns in a constructive manner. Firstly, the condition of our room was not up to our expectations. We noticed an unpleasant odour, which made our stay uncomfortable. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us as guests, and we were disappointed by the state of the room. Additionally, we encountered some issues with the staff's communication and manners. We believe that respectful and professional interactions with guests are essential in creating a positive experience. Regrettably, our interactions fell short of our expectations in this regard. Furthermore, we encountered difficulties with our reservation. Despite having booked a room at your hotel, we had to change our accommodation due to the issues mentioned above. However, we were surprised to find that our request for a refund was not honoured. It would have been greatly appreciated if our concerns were acknowledged and appropriate measures were taken.

I spent my time in this hotel for 2 night and staff are helpful. Service is fast , food taste delicious and Mr akash who is gm of the hotel is very nice and helpful person. I will be back in this hotel while I come to in amritsar again. Thanks aura grand all staff . 🙂🙂

The rooms were good to stay and the food was ok, but the area is too crowded and the approach roads are narrow. It is closer to many places in Amritsar including the famous Kulfa desert, which you can try..

Overall, the hotel is quite ambient and have good facilities. Room is very clean and gives good vibe. I faced issue during checkin due to parking issues. The food prepared is very delicious and they have a very good and co-operative staff. I can surely recommend the hotel to my friends and relatives. Cheers😊

First of all, if you have gone by car then there is a lot of parking challenge here. My room size was very small but the bathroom was clean, TV set did not work 😡and waiter kept coming again and again asking for a tip which seemed very strange to me.. If you have not gone by car then it is okay to stay but the services are very bad.

The reviews are definitely fake. The shower gels and shampoos were reused, all they did was put a little soap and water. You can see what I mean when you look at it. The room were average. But not clean. I felt dusty even after showering. There were tiny bugs on the bed and fruitflies around the room. The employees at the front were nice but not helpful. Honestly wouldn’t come back here ever again. This hotel truly doesn’t deserve the 4.9 stars that they have with the fake reviews.

The location does not have proper parking facility. Our room did not have hot water. When we informed the staff nothing was done. The second day same issue. When contacted them again, we were said all rooms are not having problem how come your room is having problem. This was strange. The staff was very rude. When I also raised my voice and demanded to speak to manager, I was told that other guests are getting disturbed. The manager did not come. We decided to check out. The manager came to our room. We informed that there was no use talking as we have decided to check out. He just walked way. No attempt to resolve the issue. Also when had visited their restaurant in the basement, we saw a rat moving around. I would not recommend this hotel.

3.5/5 Very spacious rooms and well maintained. My family enjoyed the comfort and hospitality of the hotel greatly. Food is also tasty and served buffet style. Would recommend to friends and family.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was average and the service was incredibly slow. The staff seemed to have difficulty understanding our orders. Moreover, if you're not taking the restaurant's buffet, eating there can be particularly difficult. Whenever we asked if the restaurant was open, the staff gave obscure excuses about how cleaning was happening. The final straw came when the staff asked us to write a review on Google infront of them, which I found strange and intrusive. Note: please don't go by checking the review as reviews are mostly fake as they ask the guest to give the review infront of them and monitored the review before posting it.

I recently stayed at Aura grand hotel in Amritsar for two nights, and overall, it was a decent experience. The room I stayed in was well-maintained and neat, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Amritsar so it is quite accessible with public transport to all tourist places. The Hotel is situated in a small lane so there are a lot of difficulties for parking. The first impression of the hotel and the room is quite good. They have lifts and key card rooms. The room was clean with all the complimentary things provided like tea bags, coffee, sugar & milk powder packets, hot water kettle etc. There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom, I guess they have an issue with the drainage system. They have a buffet system in the basement. The food is delicious with a lot of options for breakfast & dinner. The Hot water was not available and still after calling the reception, they didn't even care to check again. The next day it was my checkout, but my train was in the evening from Amritsar. I requested them to kindly help me with the time extension till evening at a reasonable rate. They told me the charges twice the one day charge of the room. Luckily, I had come there through my travel agency, and they called and brought it down to a reasonable rate. When I came to the reception for the payment, they tried to fool me with the original charges, but I told as I had a conversation with my travel agency and then the staff agreed and told us to make payment. Ratings 3.5/5

Very small and cozy rooms, deluxe rooms are ideally not deluxe and doesn't match the rate charged. Food quality and service was ok ok. A small feedback to the hotel staff and the management in being considerate to certain special made requests.

I was very excited for my stay at this hotel, considering the 4.9 rating it has. After completing 2 nights here, I have no idea how it has over 4. The reviews are definitely fake. The google info says it has Valet parking??? There was NO parking!!!! There is barely any space. My driver had to park the car on the main road. For the price and 3 star status, it lacks basic cleanliness. We were first given the room on the ground floor which did not look like a 3 star at all. I thought I'll cut my losses and make do for 2 days. Then I opened the wardrobe and there were 3 cockroaches. Luckily my request to change rooms was accepted without any hassle and was moved to third floor. This room was decent and clean. Then I went to the kitchen and saw a dead cockroach in a bowl which was supposed to be clean and ready for plating. Instantly lost my appetite and did not eat there the next day despite having prepaid for breakfast and dinner for 2 days. Room service - there are 2 sets of staff I guess. The ones during the day are very polite and helpful. The ones at night are plain rude and I legitimately felt scared of them. When I requested to change my towels on the second day, the guy who brought them peeped into my room and said "I can see 3 towels(we were 3 people), why do you need more?" In a very threatening tone. I would be less harsh if this hotel did not have a 4.9 rating already. I had very high expectations and it did not even come close to it. With that said, here are the things I did like about the hotel- -Location: It's very conveniently located. Easy access to auto rickshaws at any time of the day. -Bathroom: Is very good. Has all the amenities and was pretty clean too. -Reception: The only professional staff at the hotel. The bell boys during the day(not the ones at night) are very helpful and polite. Would not recommend the hotel until they change their night staff or train them to be more professional. I can't stress this enough. I was with my family and I felt scared of them.

Worst service and staffs are hooligans. Hot water was not available and even after asking multiple times the staff were ignorant. Tv was not working. Bedsheets were torn and unhygienic. At the end they even grabbed our luggage and behaved like 3rd class goons when asked for discount

Terrible stay at this place. The reviews are absolutely fake. Rats were running on top of the ceiling at night. Rooms were dirty, foul smell from bathroom. No basic toiletries. Service was bad, the staff behaved as if we were doing them a favour by staying there. The lane in which the hotel is situated is extremely dingy and shady. Would never recommend anyone to go here.

Rooms are excellent. Service was poor as charged 32 Rs for welcome tea/coffee even after stayed only 1 night. Checked in at 10 pm & checked out at 8 am. It's not the question of Rs 32, but they forced to pay the same without humanity. Hence please do not consider welcome drink as free. Also had to remind multiple times to provide bathroom accessories.

Rooms are having dust. Not so clean. Bathroom door mats also old. Rats are running over the ceilinging in the night . Bathrooms are also not at all clean, commode is not clean at all. No hot water. I don’t refer or suggest anyone for this hotel. Breakfast is also not so good. The dinning area is unhinge, flies are flying.

Cons: The rooms had a moldy smell. The bedspreads had a layer of dust on them. There was barely space to walk around with random furniture placed in weird places in the room. The hallways were extremely musty and hot during the day. Restaurant area was quite dingy with a terrible smell. Pros: Food was very tasty from the restaurant. We had pulao and dal. Room service was really good. Rooms if better organized and clean would be really good.

Food and rooms were good. But when we turn on exhaust in the washroom it spreads the Gutter smell in the entire room. Complained about it to reception but there was nothing they can do. Only sprayed some room freshner. Also at time time of check out the guy who came to our room to pick up bags was drunk. Was not even able to climb stairs.

This is one of the best hotel in Amritsar. We stayed here for 2 days in March with family. It was really a great and comfortable stay with neat and luxurious rooms, best service by the staff, affordable rates and good food. They arranged taxi too for our sightseeing. The hotel is in the city limits and very easily accessible. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pics. Overall i recommend this hotel if you visit Amritsar. KN Raju Kerala

The rooms and bathroom are good.. only if you go by pictures or at the first look. Once you start your stay, you will realise... it has basics missing. they don't provide room/bathroom sleepers, doormat kept is very dirty (we asked for both, but didn't received replacement), kettle was not working(got replaced), fridge was not working, no space to put your luggage properly.. almirahs have very less depth. we literally kept our bags on bed mostly. Also the toiletries provided.. are packed nicely.. but has basic nyle shampoo in it.. ruined my hair completely. 😒 They are cheaters.. they have poor quality products. On the top.. the breakfast menu is so bad.. we had to skip our breakfast n dinner which we pre-booked.. because of poor food quality. We had to eat outside.. breakfast is atleast something a guest looks upto.. for convenience.

The Hotel location is very near to the railway station and 2.5 kms from Golden Temple. The room is really neat and clean. The behavior of all the staff is very soft and cooperative. The only thing I suggest to improve is the food quality variety in Breakfast and toiletries quality. Although I faced very electricity cut down and during early morning a long electricity cut due to some technical fault but never felt any suffocating and hotness. Improvement required in providing room services.

Nice clean hotel. All the employees are nice and polite. They always asked if I was doing okay or if I needed anything. Early check in and late check out was really convenient. It's a perfectly decent and comfortable hotel.

Pathetic experience. I booked 2 rooms for 5 people with extra bed by paying extra money. One of the room allocated to me has odour of ciggerate though I have booked non smoking room. After I asked the management they changed my room but the AC was not working properly and it has window AC which was making too much noise. I told them twice about that but they are not bothered. I asked them to refill the bath liquids but they are not bothered. Having paid for extra bed they even couldn't provide us with one extra pillow. pathetic experience. Won't recommend anyone.

The hotel is located on Queens Road. You may easily get an e-rickshaw at the railway station as it is just 900m from there.The hotel did not accept debit card and insisted for cash payment only. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Enough for two people.

The stay is very pleasant. The staff are very courteous and they served the dinner even at late night. Facilities and response from the reception is good. Mr. Manish took personal interest in serving the guests. Overall the stay is very nice and I wish to stay again.

Very poor, had a worst experience with this hotel as - Food quality is not good. - Taking time in even give a single bottle water. - gyser is not working, - Bathing children with cold water. - Bed is also broken. - Even doors were not closing properly. If you have extra 3-4 hours except you tour plan then you can go with this hotel and after that you will standing on same situation and writing a review for this.

Pathetic customer service. The girl in the front desk is rude. Dnt choose for the breakfast in hotel (Indian food was terrible). You will only get bread with a jam if your prefer american breakfast. Rooms are good. But the customer service and food is very bad.

I'm usually not particular with hotels, but because I paid for the deluxe room and it's about 2000 rupees a night so I'm expecting more. First, the fridge is not working. second, the toilet is covered with brown yellow stains with a urinal stench, the room is a decent size but there is not even 1 hanger for clothing. the hot water for the shower sometimes doesn't work, sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's not. it's like a game you play to see if today are you having a hot shower or not. water pressure is so low. I was told by the hotel staff to check out at 11 am but discovered in my app it said 12noon. so he said up to me. I told him I want to extend my check out to 1 pm but was rejected and was told to pay extra 1000 rupees more. forget it! I might as well spend it at a cafe. I stayed in a hotel that is less than 1500 rupees and they are so much cleaner than this hotel, the pillow is dirty with stains!!!

This hotel is very well placed in Amritsar, everything including railway station, Hall bazar, Ranjit Avenue is an auto ride away. A lot of restaurants are nearby in case you want to venture out. They are very accommodating and we had a business stay for 14 days and it was great.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. All staff members went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. Just love it♥️
