My daughter underwent SMILE surgery in the last week of December at Indira Nagar Branch through the great support of Dr. Jammie and Dr Sanjana who were always available to guide and advise us. Went there today for Mt daughter's eye check. My observations - 1. Looking at doctors behaviour I felt they are too busy to hear patient. They just don't allow you to talk read out templates like robot, you consume whatever. 2. Doctors are not kids friendly, they just don't have time for empathy. 3. Doctors prescription ll be forwarded to their revenue generating pharmacy and optical and you have to collect it from there. As a hospital practice some Empathy towards your patient is my suggestion. Hear them out, which may cost 10% less income but that will give a lot of relief to patients.

Better than most in terms of caring, equipment, expertise. I had glaucoma package done for Rs6500 consisting of 5 tests. They took more than 3 hours to complete, regularly forgetting about me between tests until I call out to them. They could have done with me much faster. Although they have sanitizers everywhere, the equipment operators are not taking care to wipe chin rests and forehead rests between patients using them, they are most likely spreading Covid among patients.

Awesome service in this hospital. Dr Mayanka is really good. She has a very pleasant nature and right attitude. She talks to patients very nicely and understands their problems. The hospital is very neat and clean. There are no issues any where. Service is quick and waiting time is very low. Their system is robust and they are good in management.

I was looking for a good eye hospital for my Father in law's cataract surgery when I got to know about Dr. Agarwal Eye hospital, Whitefield. It was recommended by my wife's colleagues and after reading positive feedback on Google and other apps, we went ahead with it. Entire process from day 1 was very organized and everyone at the hospital was very helpful. Dr. Amod Nayak is very humble person and best at his work. He explained the entire process very well and was never in an hurry to answer all the our concerns. We went ahead with multifocal lens (Symphony) for both the eyes and both the surgeries were super quick and very good. We could watch the live surgery from a different room. My father in law is doing well and now he doesn't wear specs. Thank you to the entire team of Dr. Agarwal Eye hospital.

I would not recommend this healthcare facility to anyone. The patient journey here involves navigating multiple queues, which can be particularly challenging for senior citizens. The nurses' interactions with local patients/senior citizens seem uncomfortable. After enduring all the preliminary checks, there's often a lengthy wait for the doctor, who frequently appears preoccupied with phone calls even during patient appointments. Meaningful patient-doctor communication is lacking, and there's a tendency to prescribe expensive medications unnecessarily. Moreover, the prescription process is rushed, with strong pressure to purchase the recommended medications immediately. What's concerning is the tendency to suggest costly procedures like scanning and cataract operations as a default option for senior citizens, without thorough consideration of their individual needs. This facility appears to prioritize revenue generation over patient well-being, making routine check-ups a heavy financial burden for patients.

Good set up for Eye related issues. Prompt and efficient service. Comfortable space. Got cataract surgery done. It was a pleasant experience. Docs, scanning, pharmacy and opticals.. all under one roof. And another good thing.. pay for consultation once, not every time you visit post surgery..

Took my best friend for an eye check up. One test after the other. We spent nearly 13k. Since we are working professionals, we visit during the weekends. This Sunday we did a glucoma test and after 3 hours of waiting Dr. Jammie B Blah said she can't figure out the exact reason, let's do a re test. And she seemed to be in such a hurry. This is super frustrating. It just feels like we are being milked of our money and nothing else. Three weeks of visits after visits and there is no diagnosis. The great part about the hospital is that the staff are very very helpful and supportive. Just that our precious, time, money and energy is being wasted. Seems like a money milking institution. We have decided to stop our visits here and go to another hospital.

Clean and efficient clinic. Hygiene could be better. Wiping down the testing apparatus with the same tissue you used for previous customers is not right. The lady doctor was quite polite and to the point. Dr.Amod, whom we preferred because he is highly qualified, was in a big hurry, rude and very rough while examining. Our eyes are one of the most delicate parts of our body. His digging in with his huge fingers was very unpleasant and painful for my husband. He should try it on himself or a family member and see how it feels!

We had my mom's cataract surgery for both eyes done by Dr Amod and it was a fabulous experience. My mother was a bit worried initially but he explained everything in detail that gave us comfort to proceed. Other doctors and support staff are also very helpful and friendly. In this hospital they will assign you a counselor. My counselor name is Shubhashree, she will never ever lift your call. They have suggested to go to indira Nagar branch for another doctor opinion for that I have asked appointment they told you have to call us on prior day evening for confirmation when you call they won't respond the I want to hospital and got appointment in Indira Nagar. appointment was 9:30 AM I reached hospital by 9:15. Then I came to know that doctor will be available 12:00 PM only. They why the hell you have given appointment at 9:30? They don't have any value to your time. For example you have an emergency situation, emergency need timely attention, if this guys don't value you time what is point in counselting this hospital. Find other hospital.

I came here for eye infection consultation. They gave me medication for a month. Till the month end it was good and it started again when I stopped using the meds. So when I come back to consult the same doctor in 1 month and a week for the same problem, they asked me to pay the full consultation fees of 700 bucks to meet the doctor. I even spoke with the doctor but she was adamant that I had to pay the full amount for further consultation. I didn't find this ethically correct. It is not about 700 bucks, if people are coming back for the same problem it shows that the last consultation was not fruitful and hospital administration should take that under consideration and deal with patients accordingly.

Best place in White field to get your eyes tested i went here for my father’s cataract problem Dr Amod Nayak who is the chief doctor there is pretty knowledgeable and so humble that he has explained us everything pretty well and did the laser operation for both eyes with in a week gap. Followups and care taken by the doctor and hospital staff are too good. We even had the privilege to watch the live surgery from an OT Viewing room when my father was being operated. All the patients are treated equally and tested thoroughly for any of the problems that they have concern on. Highly recommend this hospital for all your eye related problems.

I have been visiting this location from about 4 years now. I have pretty high power in both eyes. But compared to all the previous eye care centers, I will like this branch. First of all Dr Amod Nayak's consultation and Diagonstics are superb. The staff and each of the technicians are also very cooperative. I need to come in for routine eye checks ups every 6 months, hence I feel the usual check up workflow is quite a breeze.

Instead of sending confirmation message of appointment, they can also call individually and request the patient to reach one hour before to have initial proceedings. Doctor was simply superb in explaining point wise the problems and solutions. Feel like we are in a comfort zone.

visited doctor Amod Nayak for the cataract surgery of my dad who is 76 years old. Got my dad's catarct surgery done effortlessly inspite him having prior multiple ailments suffered by my dad, namely heart issue Bp and sugar. Doctor is very experienced and because of my Dad"s condition , the surgery was done using only anaesthetic drops. there was no post complication and surgery was completed with 15 minutes. would recommend the doctor highly due to his experience and nature.

23rd oct visites whitefield branch. Dr Amod was very impatient with me and spoke very rude and he made me cry. Staff are also very rude and didn’t try to understand the situation I was going through with my eye. Gave appointment for 25th evening, he suggested me to visit Indranagar branch on 26th where I had to meet Dr Sanjana who was available from 4.30 pm till 7 pm, didn’t give a proper appointment n asked to walk-in anytime between 4.30 and 7. When I went there at 5.30, doctor was not available. My cornea infection was increasing day by day and there was no prior notice given by the team for appointment. I travelled 20 km one side to Indranagar branch with severe pain. This is really bad how they treat a patient. Never ever visiting the Agarwal hospital again.

Completed cataract surgery for my mother in law in white field Agarwal hospital. This is one of the best hospital I had seen where the service and concern for patients are extraordinarily taken care. All the staffs are so kind and patient and polite. Especially the chief doctor Dr.Amol is very energetic and manages the hospital very well. We were planning to get Cataract Surgery done for my father. One of my friend referred Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital. When we went in for the tests, it was also discovered that my father had BRVO condition in his right eye. This had to be treated before the cataract surgery. worst experience with Dr Amod Nayak. Dont have patience to listen our issues also. Hardly spent 2 min only, says its fine. The drops which are prescribed by the doctor started causing irritation than earlier. Never go to Dr Agarwal hospital, waste hospital.

We visited Dr. Agarwals Eye hospital for cataract treatment for my wife NALINI. We took the consultation and advice from Dr.Nayak and we are very much happy with the initial check ups and advice given for the cataract surgery for left eye and went ahead with the surgery. We had our apprehensions about the surgery but the kind of confidence given by the doctor is very good and the surgery was performed . Surgery went on well and successful and found that it is simple and time taken was less than 10 minutes for the surgery. We are very much pleased about all the staff members in the hospital mainly post operation care which is most important and I find it excellent in the hospital and concern Dr as well. With this confidence we went ahead for the cataract surgery for the right eye in this month and it is successful. Now we are happy that we approached right hospital and got very good treatment for our eye problem. Even we got coverage of insurance and got the treatment for reasonable cost. I went to Dr. Agarwal for my mom's eye checkup and they confirmed pterygium surgery is needed for right eye, we agreed for the surgery without any second thought. This surgery is to remove a layer in eye and it went well and took just 10mins. After that doctor suggested some medications to take with regular follow ups from them. Now nobody can tell that she went for a surgery as the eye looks completely normal. Just need to take utmost precaution for 1 month after surgery and then it's like a normal. Pros: 1.friendly care from doctor and staff. 2. If you have insurance, they will take care of everything, ee need to just provide them some required documents .

Over priced

I had already taken an appointment via the website before my visit. The receptionist at the desk could not locate it either with the number or the patient name. It annoyed me. Later she told me the appointment was registered right. I was a first time visitor. Just It spoiled my impression of the hospital. Management feedback: Suggested periodic eye checkup for your employees.

I went to this centre for my mothers cataract surgery. Everything went smooth and transparent. Staff are cooperative. Hygiene is top notch . Dr Mayanka is best at everything she does from consultation, surgery to post op instructions and recall visits . She gives personal attention to all her patients and makes them feel like family . The amount of transparency and clarity provided is unbeatable. We were shown the lense before surgery . And also allowed to see the surgery . Had to get Cataract done for both eyes.. Filling details and then guided through various eye tests. Efficient Staff helped in directing patients through stages of tests before meeting the Consultant. My Consultant Dr Jammie Blah who was to do the Surgery , briefed me on all aspects of the procedure. Post operative Follow up after both procedures by Dr Blah was to my satisfaction. Very good, they are very quick with the formalities. The Dr should take some more time in explaining about the diagnosis and diet. For them we will be one among many, but for us it is the first time we come to know about the sight problem. She speaks only a few seconds with each patient. Every test is done in great hurry.

One of the best eye hospital. Everyone is very co-operative. Nursing staffs are also helpful. Doctors are giving full attention to patient and taking care of everything. Only one thing which I didn't like is the Medical store, they are selling the medicine on print rate which can we easily available on other medical stores and we are getting some discount. Even after asking for discount, they say they don't have the policy for discount, which is not acceptable.

2 stars just for their cleanliness. I went there for regular eye checkup. But Doctor does not have time. Spoke politely but hardly listened to my problem as of he already understood my issue. Hospital is never reachable - try calling their number.. they never pickup and never call back. You just get an sms that they will call back.

I visited Dr Agarwal's eye hospital for my father's cataract surgery. My father is diabetic so we were concerned about the operation. However Dr Amond, explained us everything so easily that we got confidence. The operation was done by Dr. Amod perfectly for both the eyes at a separation of 2 weeks. Everything went well. Later I took my mom as well for her eye checkups. And as many times I visited there, every time I can say I had pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr. Amond for any of your eye related concern. His friendliness and down to earth attitude will win you. The Staffs are also very friendly and professional. Special mention to Shusma and Lilly ma'm, they are very helpful.

In Aggarwals eye hospital I underwent cataract surgery for both my eyes. Their services are very prompt and doctors attend to our needs very quickly. They prescribe appropriate medicines and give us clear instructions. They review our condition after surgery three, four times and give us suitable advice. The Most Ethics less Hospital that I have ever experienced. Took my father all the way from Vijaynagar to white field as they have reference from Rajajinagar branch for DCR surgery. All the test and medicine were given and taken and they have scheduled an appointment on this Wednesday and suddenly they are informing and postponed the surgery to Monday as the doctor is unavailable and she is on emergency leave. As a patient guardian can understand the emergency but what's the point where they don't have replacement for the other doctor being such a stable institution. Never suggest this Hospital for any eye related problem. They have no stability and integrity. One of the worst experience ever by visiting Dr.Agarwal's Hospital. #NoIntegrity.

Very well managed and organised hospital and Doctors are professional. I would highly recommend Dr Jamie for her expertise, she recenlty performed eye surgery for my mother effortlessly. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Nice Hospital... All under one roof, i.e Testing to Spect. Infra structure with waiting Hall are neatly maintained. Chamber wise Testing & Consultation.... No waste of time at any point... Staffs, including Eye Specialist Dr are cautious with service & Hospitality mentality at high.

Very rude behavior of insurance department lady. Even she told me that before cataract operation I need to submit list of blood tests which are never asked by any other hospital where we consult for same thing. Usually they are doing some basic blood test but the list what she shared is not even related to cataract. Also one of scan doctor told cost is Rs 1000 but she asked to pay Rs 1500 . When I told doctor told it's Rs 1000 then she replied doctor don't know anything. And asked me that I need to pay Rs 1500 only. Very bad experience and will not suggest others to go to that clinic.

The senior doctors like Dr. Amod are excellent. I got lasers for my both eyes done by him last last year and I'm very much satisfied. However, the junior doctors (or nurses?) who do manual power measurements are so very impatient. They are not really empathetic towards the patient's satisfaction with the new bunch of lenses they put. They just try to convince the patient with the new power and they get upset if the patient is not satisfied with the new bunch of lenses. Last year itself I complained of difficulty in reading. The lady who did the manual power measurements did not at all bother and simply convinced me that i only have myopia and sent across the same power. I made glasses with that incorrect power itself. This time, after one year they have agreed that I am really having multifocal power!! Main Doctors are very good. But the junior doctors are very unempathetic. I visited today (Nov 30th 2023) and this time around I was very clear and was not ready to be convinced like last time. And the junior doctor who was measuring the power manually was very very upset with me. The moment i said an "okay" she was in such a damn hurry to drive me off!! It showed how careless these juniors are. Dr. Amod is excellent. Today I visited Dr. Mayanka. She was good though. But junior doctor who measured the power manually, needs to be counselled.

Any service has a cost. Health services are no exception. The motto should be to give service and then charge the patient. No attempt should be made to push the patient to something else for which he did not come, particularly to well educated people. I did not go to check my eyes particularly when I had informed that I got my new specs a few months back after check up. Attempt was made to push me into eye testing which was bad.

Best eye care hospital, had cataract surgery for my aunt recently. All the staffs are compassionate, friendly and patient enough to answer your queries.

My wife had 14 plus lens power for last 30 years . We decided to go for ICL surgery to remove her specs . Dr Amod Sir and Team is extremely great to assist through out the pre check , surgery and post care. Very experience team and thanks to whole Dr team here. We are extremely happy and regularly visiting here for any eye related problems. Insurance desk and in house pharmacy also a best support when you need .
