This is a good place in HSR & surrounding for eye related procedures or tests. We've been coming here for few years and my dad has undergone cataract surgery in their Kormangala branch. Dr. Richa is a very good pediatric ophthalmologist and our kids have been tested/treater here for power/madras-eye to physical injury. Have complete faith in the docs here!

There are very few hospitals that still have the mentality of treating patients first and money next. I am checking here regularly from 2015 and the service standards have not dropped they actually have upgraded a lot of systems as well. They have proper facilities for parking although the parking space is little small which can acclimate 10 wheelers and 5 four wheelers maximum. They used to charge 300 before covid for consultation now they are charging 500 per consultation. There are few benefits once you do consultation that is valid for 15 days any further assistance within 15 days It's not chargeable.

Then very best experience at the hospital (HSR Layout branch) for the treatment undergone by mother-in-law. She has to undergo cataract operations in both the eyes at the interval of one week. The treating doctor explained the course of treatment completely and why the relevant tests are required. This creates confidence among us w.r.t. treatment. The treatment cost is somewhat economical comparing with other hospitals and of course the operation was covered under insurance and the discharge happened without hassles. This is one of the reason my mother-in-law has undergone the treatment here in Bangalore instead of Chennai. We are completely satisfied.

Visited the hospital for the first time for an eye condition consultation. The registration and optometry was quick and efficient. Consulted with Dr. Jyothi Prabha. Found her very professional and she explained the tests and results very well. The hospital itself was very clean and well maintained. Overall very satisfactory consultation and visit.

Very good hospital for eye check up. Lot of facilities and expert doctors. Pharmacy is available within the premises. Also, specks shop is there. You can directly walk in. All covid protocols are followed. Even it has in patient rooms and operation theatre. Have been a regular for eye checkups since 5 years.

Took my daughter for eye checkup for the first time. They doctor was busy to finish and send us back. Just did the eye check. For a child of 13, to my understanding, it is recommended to do a test post dilating. This was not done and I will have to go to another hospital and re-do the test. If this review is read by the hospital, I expect some corrective actions in future.

PLEASE FIND A REAL EYE HOSPITAL. they do the same checkup as lenskart and loot our money. They didnt even do proper checkups. The doctor just saw me and decided that I'm perfectly fine. She told me to buy a Blu filter glasses without any power from their own hospital and prescribed me a drop. Ended up spending 1k. I was shocked because I've been wearing glasses fo r a long time now. I went to APPOLO SPECTRA and consulted Mary Varghese later. She was amazing and helped me understand that I have astigmatism. TAKE YOUR EYE SERIOUSLY. AVOID SUCH CHEAP HOSPITALS.

Not a worthy place to visit. Went for eye floaters issue, after checking with all devices doctor asked to have a CT Orbit scan, then i can write medicine. CT Orbit scan cost around Rs 4600/- which is unnecessary and what is the use of other instruments and doctor's experience? This hospital looks for mining money from patients. I don't recommend to anyone. Please note- they ask Rs 600 for consultation charge. Edit - i got a detailed response in google map review and not in hospital. I could have consulted on google map itself. How could you share patient medical condition on public forum? Dont you respect privacy?

We had a positive experience during our visit to Devi Eye Hospital. The hospital has ample parking space for both two and four-wheelers, and that the hospital is well-maintained and clean. The consultation fee is inexpensive (Rs. 600) and includes a free follow-up within 15 days of the consultation. This is a great value for patients who may require additional care after their initial visit. Although the hospital does not accept appointment reservations, the first-come, first-served basis seems to work well. The doctors and staff were polite, professional, and helpful, taking the time to explain to us my dad's case in detail. It's also convenient that the hospital has a pharmacy and eyewear shop on-site, making it easier for patients to access the necessary medications and eyewear.

One of the best eye hospitals in Bangalore. Dr Shetty the founder is a veteran in this field and is a great person and a great doctor. Very professional and knows what each patient needs. There is one in Koramangala too. The hospital is well maintained and neat with a good team of helpful staff. Issues with the eye...This is the place. Sure you will have a satisfying experience.

Excellent place. I went for my child eye check up and the doctor was very genuine and authentic in her check up. She took her time to thoroughly examine my daughter and prescribed the right medecine. I had a very good experience with Devi eye hospital HSR. My mother recently went under cataract surgery for both eyes. The experience was very smooth from the time of initial checkup till post surgery follow ups. The staff guided me properly. They also advised me with the insurance claim and provided all supporting documents immediately after surgery. The operation was very smooth my mother did not have any pain during or post surgery. The Doc and the staff was patient to explain the issue, treatment and the after treatment benefits, which helped us understand and decide the future course. The cost was upfront informed and no surprises given. The Staff are very friendly and helpful at all times before, during and after the treatment. The hospital and the environment is very clean and hygienic. The Pharmacy is also very good in terms of availability of the required medicines at all times. On the whole, the experience has been very satisfactory with no issues at any stage of our treatment.

If Dr Ushalalshmi D Bhat being a doctor is so scared of treating the patients in this covid time then she can sit at home and not come to hospital. Since we are going there since we are in serious trouble with our eyes. I was having extreme pain. She just checked my power and gave me the same old eye drop which every other doctor gives in Bangalore for eye dryness. I told her I have ichey eyes and painfull lids. She dint even check for 5 mins and shouted we are not treating all this and if you have pain go to ent. If I had to just check my power I would have rather gone to a spectacle shop and not to her and pay 500 rs consultation fees right. Simple scared to treat patients now with care.

No sign of Covid protocol here. More than 30 patients waiting in a small waiting area.No appointment required, it’s on first come first sever basis. When asked why? Because Dr Sharath has 3 specialities and lots of patients are there. I was there with my 7 year old daughter for her eye checkup ( apparently on 11 am so called app). I just couldn’t risk my daughter and me. I just walked out.

My father recently had his cataract surgery here. The surgery went well and my father ( Who is very skeptical usually ) was very happy and impressed with the staff and the surgery that was done. Dr. Sridevi who has been treating my father and for regular consultations is very patient, explains everything to my father slowly and clearly(as he is hard of hearing), and always reassuring putting my father at ease from his anxiety. Stella who has taken care of the communications between us and the doctors always is willing and patient to help. NO issues with their treatment, but the receptionist is very rude. She treated us like beggars as if we were seeking any free services. This was my second visit, I visited during closing hours (Sunday @12pm) I did not utter a single word, as soon as I stood in front of her she said very rudely “closed for today”. Recently we had got cataract surgery done for my aged mother in law at Devi Eye Hospital. Initially, we had shown her to Dr. JYOTHI, who was a very good Doctor , very patient and caring. After she examined carefully and made us understand that cataract surgery was necessary, we had interacted with Counselor, Ms. STELLA, who explained the process involved quite well and subsequently nicely coordinated the steps for scheduling the surgery . We then met the senior surgeon Dr. BALAKRISHNA SHETTY, for the further checks and he gave us the confidence that everything will happen smoothly. Our experience on the surgery day was also very good, right from the initial preparation stages followed by the flawless surgery by Dr. BALAKRISHNA SHETTY, and subsequent very nice and patient explanations and instructions given by the staff. It was a seamless experience , without any stress of undergoing a surgery. Hats off to the Devi Eye Hospital team!

My mother had surgery of cataract here. We got tests in April month and that time Dr. Shetty was on leave. So we thought to get operation later. In June, my mother came to Bangalore, and again Dr. Shetty is on leave. Looks like Dr. Shetty is always on leave and doesn't worry much about hospitals or patients. Anyways, we got the tests and surgery done. So these 3 startsare for those doctors and nurses. Receptionists and staff are cordial. Again, my mother has upcoming checkup scheduled for this Thursday which was informed to them after surgery (its 15days checkup after surgery)and I am getting call that Dr. Shetty is on leave. I don't know if he owns hospitals or not, but he can let this hospital go if he wants to be on leave always. PS: when receptionist called me and informed me (when she called for upcoming appointmentant informing me about Dr. Shetty absence) that I didn't called them about appointment. Dear, we already gave the appointment date on the date my mother had surgery.then for what reason I will call?? And these guys didn't even informed if I need to make call or not.

I have got cataract surgery (both eyes) done for my mother at Devi Eye Hospital recently. Overall, I'm very happy with the service what I received at Devi Eye Hospital in the last 1.5 months. The staff at the reception desk (namely Lakshmi Ma'am, Stella Ma'am, Suma Ma'am and Marlin) were very courteous and always helpful. Even the support staff and optometrists are skilled and have good knowledge in what they are doing. The doctors (Dr. Sridevi, Dr. Mallika and Dr. Sunitha) we met from the time of the first visit to follow ups post-surgery have been very professional and nice. I felt Dr. Balakrishna Shetty was also very down to earth and took care of his patients very well during the Cataract surgeries. My mother and I were very impressed with the way Dr. Sunitha and Dr. Mallika treated with dedication and lot of patience when my mother showed up some challenges with the vision and age-related retinal issues. I had gone to other hospitals before , but the way they took care of me and the way they dealt with my issue was amazing and very comforting especially after i went to many hospitals who were pushing me for surgery and increase the price since I am not Indian.
