Don't go. A really bad place in the tourist map of karnataka. Most of the areas where you could get to near the river are now out of bounds for visitors. The only place where you can park is near the temple and that area is full of litter. It's like a dumping ground. There is absolutely nothing to do here. Lots of people come here bring stuff cook stuff eat stuff and leave all the left over stuff here. People take bath. Literally hundreds... Lots of discarded cloth lying around. Lots of Monkeys who can and will snatch food from you.. Last but not the least the last 10kms to the place is really bad. Vehicles with low ground clearance will find it very tough to go here. In all a really messy place which can be conveniently avoided for your own sake...

River side entertainment. Very crowded in the weekends. Not clean at all.... government should build a toilet here. Most of the people do toilet in open spaces which make the place very dirty. Also most of the people prepare food here which also makes the place dirty. There is a nearby place called bheemeshwari. But most of the places are restricted by forest department.

The road to Muthathi is very good especially for bike ride except for the last stretch. But the place is terrible. It feels so bad to see how natural beauty is spoiled by we human. The river bed is filthy. All you can see around is dirt and people creating more dirt.

This place is without any network coverage, highly polluted and stinks. I was barely able to walk around for 15 mins and decided to leave the place. People come to do picnic here, looks like you can get rented utensils & stove in the local market and cook ur food. I saw people littering around with used plastic bags, cold drinks cans & bottles, torn cloths, alcohol bottles and witnessed some blood marks too (mostly of animal ppl killed to enjoy there). The way to this is amazing and this place is just that disappointing.

This place is good for one day outing specially during rainy season or after that. The road is little steepy. You will not get any mobile connectivity. Better carry food and water.

A beautiful settlement bank near Kaveri. A place surrounded by dense forest and hills. The terrain hilly road towards this spot is both adventurous and risky.

Place is very good, but lacks maintenance. There is no maintenance or there is any awarenesses to people.

Best place to Hangout with friends and family, Kaveri back water flow was really good. Located in forest. Best place to spend time for Hangout and best place to spend time for coocking. Kids will enjoy a lot in water flows. Good environment .

Good dip in the Cauvery - google maps road through forest is treacherous by car - better to approach through bheemeshwari perhaps.

The place is not kept clean with a lot of plastic and liquor bottles kept. People have not kept hygiene although restrictions have been put. Water is not clean near the main spot made available for public
