TL;DR:
Great
place,
if
you
can
live
with
the
underwhelming
management.
The
Good:
The
place
is
really
nice.
You
walk
right
into
the
lake
after
taking
a
rather
narrow
tarmac
road,
but
one
that's
very
well
taken
care
of
-
watch
out
for
the
speed
bumps.
The
food
is
great,
the
dome
rooms
are
nice
and
well-furnished.
The
staff
were
mostly
friendly,
but...
The
Bad:
There's
no
beach
access
here,
so
you
don't
really
get
to
enjoy
the
lake
waters.
The
rooms
don't
seem
to
be
enough
most
of
the
time
-
more
on
that
below
-
but
there
are
expansion
works
ongoing,
so
hopefully,
the
situation
improves
soon.
I
found
the
CCTV
cameras
in
the
conference
rooms
a
bit
intrusive.
Could
anyone
really
walk
out
with
a
chair?
The
Ugly:
We
went
there
on
a
work
trip,
hoping
we
could
get
work
done
without
the
nuisances
of
the
office
environment.
We
get
there
at
around
midday,
and
we're
told
our
rooms
are
occupied
and
had
to
wait
until
3
pm.
3pm
came
and
went
without
a
word
from
the
check-in
desk.
We
carried
on
with
our
work
(without
having
refreshed
after
a
long
drive
from
Blantyre)
until
around
6
pm
when
we
were
told
our
rooms
were
still
occupied
and
that
we'd
have
to
put
up
elsewhere.
We
negotiated
for
a
nicer
place
than
the
one
they
suggested.
We
agreed
to
be
there
for
the
rest
of
our
stay,
only
to
be
told
amidst
the
workshop
to
go
back
and
check
out
the
following
morning
while
our
rooms
weren't
even
ready.
We
had
to
wait
for
our
rooms
(while
enduring
watching
the
staff
fight
over
the
location
of
keys).
We
eventually
checked
in,
but
at
the
point,
our
schedule
had
been
massively
disturbed.
On
our
third
and
last
day,
we
had
a
word
with
the
resort's
manager,
who
was
very
apologetic.
We
got
really
nice
Ekhaya-branded
diaries
as
a
consolation,
but
our
institution's
money
and
time
were
already
wasted.
