The most amazing place to be within Senga Bay Salima. I wish you'd have a bigger poster by the roadside tell what a small paradise you hold there.... Kudos

For the price - this place is shocking. From aircon not working, to keys that are very difficult to open and lock your room door. To my surprise the door to my room opens into the passage and not into the room. There was only one channel on the TV/DSTV. Then the outdoor swimming pool (Not fenced in an freely accessible) apparently closes at 7pm. So don't plan a night time dip after supper. First resort/hotel I have every found limiting hours to such a beautiful outdoor pool. Rooms - Paint flaking off the walls. DΓ©cor very old. Not antique, old and dilapidated . Feels like an aged building. Pricing does not give you the feeling that staying here is worth it. Feel ripped off. Will not be back.

My wife and I spent several nights at Blue Waters Salima. We had the best experience that exceeded our expectation. The service was incredible, The food was great, lots of choice and every dish was very delicious. The staff is always there and willing to assist. Blue Waters has become our got to hide out when we are in central region, Malawi. We specially enjoyed the entertainment by Blue Waters in house band. Love it!!!

My experiences there is limited to my stay in the African Chalets and this Review may perhaps grossly exaggerate the state of the other kinds of accommodation provided there (of which I know nothing of). Generally nice and quiet, but the rooms I stayed in were very poor for the rate set by the hotel. I've stayed in nicer rooms for half the price! Reservation was problematic. The food, however, the food was great.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The place is peaceful and the location at the lake is beautiful. The compound is neat and clean, the staff are friendly and very attentive. Special thanks to the manager Don, who arranged many things for us personally and at very fair rates.I recommend this place for a stay at Lake Malawi.

Excellent Place to Stay, neat and clean room but if you are a vegetarian then carry your food with you.

A beautiful place to get away and relax on Lake Malawi. The lake on this side is not too clean for swimming, but people are always swimming- and there is also a beautiful swimming pool on the property. There is Sigelelege next door, you can ride their Quadbikes on the beach. Great for family or solo.

Rooms not maintained - not clean + broken facilities (A/C, cold shower etc). Food unsatisfactory and bland. Helpful and friendly staff.

We spent four nights at Blue Water with our four kids. We had a family room which was spacious for our family. Our kids loved the pool and beach. The staff were very accommodating and made sure we had the best time possible. The air conditioning was perfect and the generators switched on immediately with a power outage. The beach was private to the resort. Food was top notch and a full service buffet. We can't wait to return. We really enjoyed getting to know Shiraz (staff) - he made everything perfect for us.

Very nice place also for day trips, but also always quite crowded. Every now and then a live band plays. Nice beach access, good food and nice pool.

I didn't like the room at all. Due to circumstances , I settled for it. The room was small, door had some issues. The bathroom door handle was broken. Walls and ceiling especially in bathroom looked like they were still being renovated. The furniture left a lot to be desired. The mini fridge wasn't working. The blanket was not comfortable. Use fabric softener please. The good thing is the air conditioner was working well. The food was okay, I've had better. The staff was friendly though one or two were condescending. Will I be back? Only if all other places are fully booked. Sorry.
