Long weekend getaway choice! Great for the family, lovely pool and deck area by the beach🏖️ stayed in the garden view family room but has no AC. The fans work well however so a good compromise. The team went out of their way to provide a big bucket of ice to keep our waters cool. Dinner was buffet but you can order pizza and snacks from the bar and I will see how breakfast and lunch goes. Lovely dinning room vibes!

Probably the best large hotel in the country. Nicely located on an almost private beach, two separate wings to chose from. Very classy rooms and a nice decoration touch. Very good service and very nice food. As a garden lover, it is also a pleasure to stroll in theirs. Highly recommended and they hosted my group in great style.

Love this place. Luxury hotel, backing onto Lake Malawi with an amazing view. The rooms are of the finest quality and as soon as you step into the swanky room it feels like a GTAV Diamond Casino Penthouse. Went on a boat trip and saw many African Fish Eagles 🦅 diving for fish right in front of us. Food is exquisite while also being plentiful. The gym is optimal for the biggest gains 💪🏿 The tennis courts were very fun to play on with my friends and the floodlights even allowed us to play in the dark. 🎾 The soccer pitch allows for some truly fabulous matches with the high quality grass. ⚽️🥅 If none of these sports interest you, the beach volleyball may take your fancy, with a great net overtooking the lake for a scenic game. If you’re feeling delicate you can take a trip to the spa where you can have a relaxing time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Splendid hotel. Everything you might need for a reasonable price. Pool, gym, good restaurant, and very nice rooms. The service is exceptional. Would rate 6/5 if it was possible. Highly recommend if you want to be by the lakeside and enjoy Malawi.

Wonderful place to be, but I probably found myself there at the wrong time as the swimming pool was out of bounds due to some construction/upgrades for the bar area, also would like to bring to attention that the food is not halal, so I wasn't satisfied with that. Otherwise the staff are friendly and helpful, there's a variety of rooms and the scenery is worth it. There's not too much of a crowd so it was pretty peaceful.

Fantastic experience by the Lake Malawi. A true oasis. Our bungalow (nr 39) was superb, modern with local style. First room (nr 57) was a garden room, which didn’t match the expectations when comparing to the rest of the hotel. So we had to change the room to the bungalow. Wifi didn’t work at all in the rooms and television had not been programmed and seemed not to have a signal. Personel was so kind and warm and food delicious.

Absolutely wonderful getaway from the hectic life. This is a hidden gem in Malawi, "Warm heart of Africa". The suite room is clean and I love the decor. The staff are always attentive, friendly and modest! Veg stick with blue cheese dip at Harrys bar, Grilled Chambo with "nsima" , The braised ox-tail at the Il lago restaurant are delicious!! 5 stars guaranteed! Thank you for such a great service.

It's a superb place to be. Will definitely visit again. The only thing staff watch you as you eat. Soon as you put the folk down they are there to take away the plates.

Such warm and friendly staff! Such rich luxurious plat life here; truly an oasis. The cleanliness is as refreshing as the breeze from the lake that bathes the whole place. Excellent food: homemade breads daily, plenty of delicious vegetable dishes, fresh-caught fish. The atmosphere is one of retreat, with sounds of water and birds calling all around. We will definitely return.

If you want to work in an environment that is so peaceful and so beautiful, this place is one of those. Their gym is amazing. Their food is to die for. Having lunch with the amazing view of lake malawi. I enjoyed the brazen beef, their pancakes, fetta pasta salad.

This place exceeded all expectations. The lake side suite rooms are spacious and airy, with views directly to the lake. The entire team, from management to the people tending the gardens, are super friendly and just cannot do enough for you. The quality of food is exceptional and the gardens are so well kept you would think your in a tropical forest. Spectacular in every level. Thank you guys for a most amazing stay. We cannot wait to come back.

This resort is probably the most premium accommodations to be found in Malawi. It is where the President, Vice President and many other famous people choose to stay (including during our visit). The rooms have been recently renovated giving a clean, safe and modern environment. The resort is an oasis in the area. From the moment you enter the Jurassic Park style gates you escape to a world class service and comfort. The resorts managers Mia and Greg worked tirelessly to see that every guests needs were met. An example for us was providing lunches “to go” as we left each day to various schools in the community. They provided a cooler full of ice for our water. The food was fantastic and the menu items were pleasantly varied to cover all diets. The resort was not crowded with no shortage of places to relax at any time. A special mention to William and Chincici at the bar who were attentive and personable. The sunsets you see here are unmatched followed by looking out at a billion stars around a fantastic beach bonfire each night. I look forward to my return. Tip: purchase a local SIM card for the most affordable fast and reliable internet access. The staff even helped us with it.
